The show opens with the tune, "I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty playing overhead. DAYTONDAVE & WARLORD make their way down the aisle as the ringside fans chant and clap with excitement.

Warlord: San Diego State University! What is up!?!

(Awkward silence)

Daytondave: Big man- it's South Dakota State.

Warlord: Oh.

Daytondave: And, the cheap pop is a flop. But fans, it is an honor and a privilege to be here tonight, celebrating Veterans' Day with an exciting night of professional wrestling action! And a special word of thanks to all of our military brothers and sisters around the United States. Thank you for your service!

(Cheers)

Warlord: Nothing cheap about that pop.

Daytondave: No siree. Fans- Heartland Havoc LXXXIII: Won't Back Down is just two weeks away, and we have some big events in store for you tonight. It's the Heartland Ladies' Championship in our Main Event! CHEERLEADER MELISSA has a big task tonight when she defends the title against a former champion, KIMBER LEE. You can bet that the fur will fly! Plus, a six-man tag team grudge match! We are going to turn it up here in the land of the Jackrabbits, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



ARIK CANNON*** pinned ALEX REYNOLDS****
Reynolds and Cannon battled nearly 30 minutes, almost coming to a time-limit draw despite multiple near falls from both men. In the waning moments, Cannon nailed the Anarchist Hammer for the three count.


Daytondave: A great opening to tonight's action! These two guys went all out.

Warlord: They left it all in the ring.



HALLOWICKED & FRIGHTMARE defeated ZACHARY WENTZ* & DEZMOND XAVIER*****
The masked veterans had it all working tonight as they dominated the rookies. Frightmare quickly dispensed with Wentz, leaving Xavier to fend for himself. Dezmond did his best, but was no match for the teamwork of Hallowicked & Frightmare, who worked together to finish Xavier with the Headless Horseman.


Daytondave: A strong performance by Hallowicked and Frightmare tonight- but that is only their first point. Still a ways to go to get a shot at the Campeonatos.



ANGELUS LAYNE* pinned MERCEDES MARTINEZ*
A major upset in the Ladies' Division! Mercedes punished Angelus with brutal chops and appeared to have things under control. But Angelus pulled Mercedes out of the ring and smashed her head onto the ring post! Mercedes was stunned, and before the crowd could respond, Angelus delivered Victory Lane and picked up the three count!


Warlord: What the- ?

Daytondave: Wow! I didn't see that coming. Angelus Layne just seized the opportunity and put herself into a number one contender's match. That's a big win for this up-and-coming competitor.

Warlord: Professional wrestling's Bride of Frankenstein!

Daytondave: All right, fans- there is trouble on the horizon. The Xavier Alliance has called out BRYAN DANIELSON & THE YOUNG BUCKS for a No-Disqualification Grudge Match!



NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCH
BRODIE LEE**, RAYMOND ROWE**, & HANSON*** (w/TROY XAVIER) defeated NICK JACKSON*****, MATT JACKSON****, & BRYAN DANIELSON*****
The animosity between these trios was clear from the opening bell. The intensity was especially evident between Lee and Danielson, and it was the Big Rig who dominated the Dragon for several minutes. A Big Boot from Brodie opened a gash over the eye of Danielson, but Danielson kept fighting and eventually made a desperation tag to Nick. The Bucks took over the match and double-teamed Rowe, knocking Rowe out of the ring with a double superkick. Hanson hit the ring, but the Bucks pelted Hanson with repeated enzuigiris until Hanson slumped to the mat in a daze. The Bucks drilled Hanson with More Bang For Your Buck, and Matt made the cover, but TIM DONST dashed to ringside and pulled the referee out of the ring!

Warlord: What's that little schmuck doing out here?

The match continued, and Brodie came back into the ring and plastered Nick with a series of big boots. Matt saved his brother from the pin, but Brodie pitched Matt out of the ring and into the waiting arms of Hanson. Hanson caught Matt and powerslammed Matt onto the arena floor! Matt hit with a dull thud, and went limp on the floor. Hanson grinned and rolled Matt back into the ring, then teamed with Rowe to deliver the War Machine for the pin.

After the decision, Donst entered the ring and put the boots to the fallen Matt! Xavier, Brodie and the War Machine egged on Donst, who delivered several stiff kicks to Matt before the Alliance left the ring in triumph.


Warlord: Donst is a yutz. Troy Xavier is the perfect fit for that bunch of scalawags.

Daytondave: It was definitely a rough night for the Unmanglers. Bryan Danielson is a bloody mess, and Matt Jackson is going to need help getting back to the locker room. Blood has been spilled in this rivalry.

Warlord: And these Unmangler guys knew exactly what they signed on for when they picked a fight with the big dogs.

Daytondave: This is true, my man. All right, fans- we're going to take a break now as the crew tries to restore order in the ring. Let's head over to LARRY SWEENEY with this week's edition of "Sweet Talk".

The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk", where Larry Sweeney holds court. He is accompanied by JESSIE MCKAY, who is on the couch, sitting on the lap of JOEBREAKDOWN. Jessie grins and waves to the crowd as Sweeney struts across the set.

Sweeney: Hello, Dakota dweebs, and welcome to "Sweet Talk". Kimber is getting ready for her title shot tonight, but Jessie and JOEBOYTOY are here to keep the furniture warm while I drop some knowledge. Later this evening, we bid farewell to CHEERLEADER MELISSA and her loser friend CRUEFAN. Kind of a shame for Melissa- after we retire her, all of her merch will become collectors' items and she won't see a dime of it.

Sweeney: Whatever, boobirds. I'd rather be booed by you losers than take a beating like Matt Jackson just experienced. Those Unmanglers should have taken my advice and kept out of Troy Xavier's business to begin with.

Sweeney: Save your breath. We have plenty of news to cover from all around the indies. Like always, Ultimate Kombat Wrestling is the craziest place on earth! And DEVON MOORE is the looniest of all those loons. Dude assaulted SABU in a parking lot and stole the UKW Underground Championship! Who does that?!? And if that wasn't enough, Moore fought off three other dudes in one night to keep his title. SINN BODHI, CONOR CLAXTON, and even HOMICIDE couldn't get the job done and Devon is still the man! That is one insane son-of-a-gun.

Sweeney: On top of that, we had two other titles changes in Ultimate Kombat. BUDDY ROYAL & LEVI SHAPIRO regained the UKW Tag Team Titles from SCARLET & GRAVES, and AR FOX took down my man RICOCHET to regain the Best Of The Best Championship. Well done, fellas!

Sweeney: Congratulations to KENNY OMEGA & CHRIS SABIN for another successful defense of the King Of The Indies Tag Team Championship. ROPPONGI VICE was no match for the champs and their reign rolls on. Believe it or not, Omega and Sabin both reached the finals of the Field Of Honor tournament at Ring Of Honor: New York! It was Omega who came away with the victory, and he and Sabin managed to stay friends at the end of it all. What a great week for Kenny Omega!

Sweeney: Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment put on a pair of excellent shows this week! CEDRIC ALEXANDER continued his domination of AWE, compiling two more successful title defenses against ETHAN PAGE and JON DAVIS! This guy is unstoppable! Congratulations are also in line for DEONNA PURRAZZO, your new AWE Ladies' Champion! It was a controversial ending, but Deonna won the title from KELLY KLEIN- even though Kelly may have had a foot under the ropes at the finish. The decision of the referee is final, yada yada yada.

Sweeney: Things over at Beyond Wrestling are coming down to the wire! JONATHAN GRESHAM and CHUCK TAYLOR appear to be on a collision course for the top spot for 2017. DA HIT SQUAD has owned the Tag Team loop, and despite some tough weeks recently, it looks like they are make it to the finish line ahead of TEAM TREMENDOUS and TEAM EYFBO.

Sweeney: Finally, congratulations to our other indy champions who successfully defended their titles this month. TRACY WILLIAMS destroyed RICOCHET to hold on to the EVOLVE Championship. BRYAN DANIELSON held off a tough challenge from RODERICK STRONG to keep the Full Impact Pro Championship. And, the team of ANGELUS LAYNE & VANESSA KRAVEN looked awesome in their victory over LUFISTO & JORDYNN GRACE to keep the CCW SuperGirls Tag Team Championship.

2017 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE
THE ADDICTION (4-4) vs. THE TRIBE (6-2)
For several minutes, there was good back-and-forth action in this bout, but things broke down when Daniels and Warrior spilled out of the ring. The brawl on the arena floor turned testy, and the referee nearly threw the match out. Warrior stung Daniels with a series of chops, and when Daniels rolled back into the ring, the Tribe delivered a blistering double-team Reservation Devastation! Kazarian came to save his partner, interrupting the count, but Warrior responded with a Tomahawk Chop that lit up Kazarian and left him crumpled on the mat. Lion clamped Daniels into the Ankle Lock, and there was no escape.


WINNERS: THE TRIBE


Warlord: Did you see that? Did you hear that? Warrior's chop made that dude's liver quiver!

Daytondave: A good win for the Tribe. They finish the year with the best record in the league, and they are headed to Won't Back Down for a league championship match against THE BRAVADO BROTHERS! It seems like those two squads have been on a year-long collision course, and it's gonna happen just two weeks from today.



JERRY LYNN* pinned TJ PERKINS****
A very nice battle between two of the top eight contenders. Lynn controlled most of the action until Perkins delivered a Detonation Kick that left Lynn reeling. Perkins followed up, but Lynn powered out of a brainbuster attempt and dropped Perkins with a TKO. Lynn wasted no time in locking on the Cradle Piledriver and finishing the victory.


Daytondave: Jerry Lynn is a guy who can do it all in the ring. He showed great resilience in surviving that Detonation Kick. He is just one win away from a shot at the CHIKARA Grand Championship!

Warlord: He would be a threat to win the championship, for sure! But DELIRIOUS has a showdown with EDDIE KINGSTON at No Way Out, and that is gonna be a slobberknocker!

Daytondave: Without a doubt, Big Man. But now- the match we have been waiting for all night- the Main Event!



MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP
CHEERLEADER MELISSA*** (c) pinned KIMBER LEE***
As expected, the ongoing war between Melissa and Kimber was hotly contested in the ring and around ringside. Kimber and Melissa attempted to annihilate each other, and things got even uglier when LARRY SWEENEY tried to get involved. After Melissa planted Kimber with a curb stomp, Sweeney jumped to the ring apron and distracted referee BIG JIM THE ENFORCER. Jim was on the verge of ejecting Sweeney from ringside, but Melissa took care of business, using her left arm to deliver a running clothesline to Sweeney! Sweeney cracked the back of his head on the steel ring post, then crumpled to the floor in an unconscious heap!

Warlord: Holy Mick Foley! She got all of that one!

Kimber took advantage of the distraction, catching Melissa from behind and dropping the champion with a German Suplex! Kimber followed up with the Yoshi Tonic, but Melissa had enough left in the tank to kick out. Melissa and Kimber traded forearms until both ladies were on the brink of exhaustion! With the title on the line, JESSIE MCKAY came to ringside and began to cheer on Kimber. Jessie retrieved the Ladies' Championship belt from the announcers' table, preparing to slide the belt into Kimber. But before Jessie could deliver the belt, CRUEFAN dashed down the aisle and pulled the belt away from Jessie! Melissa came through in the clutch, managing to lift Kimber over her shoulder and put the challenger down with the Air Raid Crash for the pin!


CHEERLEADER MELISSA RETAINS THE HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP


Daytondave: What a performance by Cheerleader Melissa! Congratulations to Melissa for holding on to her championship after a grueling defense against her hated rival. Give the assist to Cruefan, who got a measure of revenge against Jessie and saved Melissa from a potentially dangerous situation. Melissa certainly got a shot in on Sweeney, and I am sure that felt almost as good as keeping the belt around her waist. A great night for the reigning Heartland Ladies' Champion! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back next Saturday night with another exciting show, including a spectacular Main Event! The Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship will be on the line when THE CANADIAN NINJAS defend against THE QUEENS OF WINNING. That's our show, and I AM OUTTA HERE!

Just when you think I am out of it I get back in. I had no choice but to help out Cheerleader Melissa and make sure that Kimber Lee and her cohorts were unable to cheat her out of the Heartland Ladies title. Sorry, Jessie, I had to do it even if it means drawing the wrath of joebreakdown. Best part for me was Melissa taking out Larry Sweeney. I'm going to be watching that on a loop and laughing my butt off. Great end to the night.

Delirious has been a dominant CHIKARA Grand Champ but both Eddie Kingston and Jerry Lynn could have something to say about that. The competition is definitely strong for that title. The Tribe vs. Bravado Brothers should be awesome, can't wait for that one. The Unmanglers had a rough night but that was a killer six-man tag bout. Congrats also to Angelus Layne on her upset win over Mercedes Martinez.

The show opens with the tune, "I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty playing overhead. DAYTONDAVE & WARLORD emerge through the curtain to the cheers of the packed house.

Daytondave: Hey, fans- welcome to CHIKARA! It's a frosty Saturday night in Sioux Falls, but the men and women of the Heartland are here to heat up the South Dakota night with the best independent professional wrestling action that money can buy. And it doesn't get any hotter than tonight's Main Event! The hotly contested Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship will be on the line when THE CANADIAN NINJAS defend against THE QUEENS OF WINNING! The intensity between those teams has really been heating up in the past few weeks.

Warlord: Them Ninjas are always up to no good, especially since they met up with TROY XAVIER. He's a nincompoop!

Daytondave: A nincompoop? Big man, I haven't heard that word since I was about 7 years old.

Warlord: And I bet you were quite the nincompoop in your day.

Daytondave: Let's just say I won't be running for president in the foreseeable future. But without a doubt, the controversy in this match really went up a notch when SARA DEL REY joined forces with THE UNMANGLERS. Anything could happen when the Unmanglers and the Xavier Alliance meet up, especially when there are titles on the line. It's gonna be a crazy night here in Sioux Falls, so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


ALEX REYNOLDS pinned GREG EXCELLENT***
Excellent learned a thing or two about the top rope tonight, as he unsuccessfully tried several times to ascend to the top. Each time, Reynolds intercepted Excellent and sent the big man splattering to the mat. After several hard slams, Reynolds dropped Excellent with the Tornado DDT. Excellent was in rough shape, and Reynolds planted Excellent with the Die Another Day for the pin.

After the decision, Excellent angrily took a swing at Reynolds, but Alex ducked away and escaped without injury.


Warlord: Big fella? What happened?

Daytondave: A frustrating night for Greg Excellent. That defeat just cost him his spot in the top 8.



WAR MACHINE (RAYMOND ROWE*** & HANSON) defeated ROCKY REYNOLDS** & BENETT COLE*****
Despite bad odds, Cole and Reynolds gave the War Machine a good fight. Cole got the best of Rowe, and controlled the action for several minutes after a brutal Black Sheep Bomb. Cole and Rowe brawled outside of the ring and were nearly counted out! Hanson finally rescued Rowe and stunned Cole with a Spin Kick. War Machine went to work, double-teaming both opponents and drilling Cole with the War Machine. After a long and tense struggle, Rowe connected on Cole with a Running Double Knee Strike for the pin.


Daytondave: Congratulations to War Machine for a hard-earned victory in the tag team division. But give credit to Cole and Reynolds- they put up a helluva fight tonight! With that win, the War Machine now has two points- they're just one win away from a match for the Campeonatos de Parejas title!



ARIK CANNON* pinned AUSTIN ARIES****
Another tightly contested battle took place in the CHIKARA top 8. After several minutes of back-and-forth action, Cannon caught a break when Aries missed a charge to the turnbuckle and slammed hard into the ring post. Cannon pummeled Aries for a while, but "A-Double" withstood a couple of near-falls and kept on fighting. In the end, the punishment dished out by Cannon proved to be too much, and Aries eventually fell prey to the Anarchist Hammer.


Warlord: That Antichrist dude is kinda creepy.

Daytondave: He's an anarchist. That means he doesn't believe in government.

Warlord: Oh. So he's not the living embodiment of the Prince of Darkness?

Daytondave: Nope. Just a beer-swilling rebel with no respect for authority.

Warlord: Sounds like my kind of guy.

Daytondave: All right, fans- the battle between the XAVIER ALLIANCE and the UNMANGLERS is about to play out once again.



GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI pinned EDDIE KINGSTON*****
Longtime rivals Kingston and Claudio threw down in a heated battle, where Claudio maintained control for most of the contest. Kingston did little damage with his punches and forearms against the power and determination of Castagnoli. Claudio launched a flurry of slams and suplexes, then dropped Kingston with the Ricola Bomb! This brought TROY XAVIER to the ring apron, but Claudio picked up Kingston and rammed him headlong into Xavier! The two collided head-to-head, and Claudio captured Kingston with another Ricola Bomb for the pin.

After the decision, Xavier staggered to his feet and hollered for Kingston to go after Claudio. But Eddie thought better of it, and headed back to the locker room.


Daytondave: Eddie takes the defeat, and wisely decides to fight again another day. He has a shot at the CHIKARA Grand Championship next week!

Warlord: And Troy Xavier needs to leave the fighting to the fighters.

Daytondave: I can't argue with that. All right, fans- that brings us to our weekly update from LARRY SWEENEY.

The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk", where Larry struts across the stage with a confident smirk. He is accompanied by KIMBER LEE, who looks intense.

Sweeney: Another chilly night in South Dakota in the dead of winter. Who books this crap?

Sweeney: Boo if you want, but this town ain't never seen excitement like CHIKARA brings. And you think we're hot tonight? This edition of "Sweet Talk" is dedicated to Heartland Havoc LXXXIII: Won't Back Down next Saturday night! I've got the whole rundown for you tonight. The Main Event will feature DELIRIOUS defending the CHIKARA Grand Championship against EDDIE KINGSTON! That little masked son-of-a-gun has held the Grand Championship longer than anybody ever expected- but I believe next Saturday night will be the end of the line for Delirious' title run. Kingston has the Filsinger Cup, he has the Xavier Alliance, and he has everything he needs to take the belt.

Sweeney: It's taken almost an entire year- but the 2017 Independent Tag Team League Championship will be decided at Won't Back Down. This league is all about consistency- and nobody has been more consistent than THE TRIBE and THE BRAVADO BROTHERS. Both these squads have been on top of the standings since day one, and their collision course will end next week. It's anybody's title to win, and I can't wait to see the finals next week.

Sweeney: Next week we'll also see the Heartland Ladies' Championship on the line. CHEERLEADER MELISSA is once again defending the belt- but we won't know who the challenger is until later tonight. Our girl JESSIE MCKAY is the odds-on favorite, but she has to beat ANGELUS LAYNE later tonight to get there. Ever since Jessie dumped that sack of garbage CRUEFAN, she has never been better in the ring. I am proud of Jessie for her accomplishments, both as a wrestler and for upgrading her social standing. You go, girl!

Sweeney: Yet another big title match is set for next week when the CHIKARA Trios Championship goes down. TIM DONST & WAR MACHINE are the top dogs in the trios world, and they are fixin' to throw down with 3.OLE. As much as I admire what 3.Ole can do in trios competition, these guys are in WAY over their heads again Xavier's guys. 3.Ole is going to go down hard and they will be lucky to survive.

Sweeney: What's with you people? The truth hurts. We're gonna see another grudge match in the war between the XAVIER ALLIANCE and the UNMANGLERS when CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI takes on BRODIE LEE. It will be No Disqualification and no holds barred when these two mix it up. I got no dog in this fight, but Claudio is my guy and I'm stickin' with him.

Sweeney: And last but not least, THE YOUNG BUCKS are going to be in tag team action! The Bucks have been called out by the young team of SCARLET & GRAVES for a Special Challenge Match. I love the gumption of these kids! The fans have been waiting to see the tag team talents of the Jackson brothers, and these two teams are gonna give South Dakota the thrill of a lifetime when they hook it up next week.

TEAM TREMENDOUS (4-4) vs. JOHNNY GARGANO & DREW GALLOWAY (4-4)
Fighting for pride, both teams went back and forth for several minutes. Gargano and Galloway took control after several minutes of action and isolated Bill Carr, dealing out some serious double-team damage. Barry came to the rescue, abut Barry ate a double-arm DDT from Galloway. Carr was left to fend for himself, and Gargano put Carr away with a Hurts Donut.


WINNERS: GARGANO & GALLOWAY


Daytondave: Congratulations to Johnny Gargano and Drew Galloway for an impressive win to finish 2017 with a winning record. That wraps up the league action for the 2017 Tag Team competition and sets the stage for next week's championship match! Let's take a look at the final standings from 2017:

HEARTLAND LADIES' DIVISION: #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
ANGELUS LAYNE pinned JESSIE MCKAY** (w/JOEBREAKDOWN)
Jessie was off her game from the start of the match, as CRUEFAN appeared at ringside and began taunting Jessie! Angelus kept her focus and took control, taking Jessie down with a snap mare and drilling Jessie into the mat with a full nelson bomb! JOEBREAKDOWN protested, but referee BIG JIM THE ENFORCER paid him no mind as Angelus locked in the Angelock. Jessie struggled to reach the ropes, but used up all of her strength. Angelus easily finished the match with the Victory Lane for the win!


Warlord: Losers! Losers! Jessie McKay is a loser and so is JOELOSER! This is the greatest thing I ever saw!

Daytondave: I must admit- Jessie had her opportunity for a big match moment and she came up short. That's gotta be a disappointment to Jessie and to all of Sweet 'N Kimber Incorporated. But congratulations to Angelus for securing the #1 Contender's position and a shot at CHEERLEADER MELISSA next week at Won't Back Down! You have to think that Angelus will be a decided underdog in that match, but she has the chance to battle for the gold and she will give it all she's got. All right, fans- we have a battle for the gold right here tonight for our Main Event- so let's get it going!

THE CANADIAN NINJAS (c) (PORTIA PEREZ***** & NICOLE MATTHEWS w/TROY XAVIER) defeated THE QUEENS OF WINNING (COURTNEY RUSH* & SARA DEL REY***)
As expected, the Tag Team Title bout was a war! Things started badly for the challengers, as Nicole caught Sara with a cheap shot before the opening bell and the champions immediately took control. Sara battled both Ninjas, and after several minutes Sara blasted Portia with a rolling koppo kick that left Portia dazed and confused. Courtney tagged in for the tired Sara, and Cortney threw down Portia with an Olympic Slam and went for the cover! Nicole alertly hit the ring and pulld Portia on top of Courtney, and with a hook of the tights, Portia got a two count. Sara came in to clear the ring, and Nicole ducked out. As Big Jim was putting Sara out of the ring, TROY XAVIER slid one of the Ladies' title belts over to Nicole, and Nicole gave Courtney a shot across the back of the head with the belt! Courtney slumped to the canvas, and Portia made the cover for the three count.


THE CANADIAN NINJAS RETAIN THE HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP


Warlord: That son of a gun Troy did it again! I always knew he couldn't be trusted!

Daytondave: Give the assist to Troy to be sure, but congratulations to Portia and Nicole who retain the tag team titles. The Ninjas did what they had to do to survive and to hold on to the championship. You may not like their methods, or the people they associate with, but the run of success continues for the Ladies' Tag Team Champions. All right, fans- we're done here. You can insult me all you want but the fact is that Cheerleader Melissa is still the champ and both Kimber Lee and Jessie McKay are on the outside looking in. Melissa, I'm happy to be of service and if it is up to me neither of Sweeney's "harlots" will wear that gold anytime soon. As for joebreakdown he is a good man so I won't say anything bad about him but if we have to come to blows watch out because I have a deadly right hand

The show opens with the tune, "Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty playing overhead. DAYTONDAVE & WARLORD enter the arena through the curtain and wave to the fans in the aisle. The cheering abruptly turns to boos when LARRY SWEENEY bursts through the curtain and struts down the ramp to join the announcers' table.

Daytondave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Havoc LXXXIII: Won't Back Down! We're excited to be here at the University of South Dakota tonight with six outstanding matches, including three CHIKARA title matches and the finals of the 2017 Independent Tag Team League.

Warlord: All hail the mighty Coyotes! Let's hear it for the Howling Pack!

(Cheers)

Sweeney: Hey South Dakota... you bunch of small-town wanna-bes... Acme Corporation called and they want their mascot back, losers.

(Boos)

Daytondave: And we start the night with a cheap pop, and equally cheap heel heat. The commentary is going to be a rough job tonight, but the wrestling action will be top notch- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



Special Challenge Match
THE YOUNG BUCKS vs. SCARLET & GRAVES
Credit the young team of Scarlet and Graves for stepping up, but the Bucks were just too much for the rookies on this night. The first several minutes were evenly matched, but Dezmond got overly aggressive and ventured into the Bucks' corner. The Bucks made Dezmond pay, crushing Dezmond with a series of sweet double-teams which put Dezmond in a bad place. Wentz barely saved his partner from defeat, but the Bucks opened up their arsenal on Zachary and finished him off with a double-team Meltzer Driver.

WINNERS: THE YOUNG BUCKS


Sweeney: Think those little retards learned their lesson?

Daytondave: Show some respect, Sweeney. It was a bold move for Scarlet & Graves to issue that challenge, and they gave the Bucks a run for their money tonight. Now, fans- another confrontation between THE UNMANGLERS and THE XAVIER ALLIANCE in our next contest.



Grudge Match: No Disqualification
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. BRODIE LEE
Hostilities continued to escalate between these warring factions. Things had barely gotten started between Brodie and Claudio when NICOLE MATTHEWS & PORTIA PEREZ came to ringside! Claudio controlled the match and stunned Brodie with a Diving European Uppercut, but the Ninjas grabbed Claudio by the legs and pulled him out of the ring! Claudio screamed at the Ninjas, but refused to raise a hand against the ladies. Portia grabbed a steel chair and reared back to strike Claudio, but SARA DEL REY dashed to ringside and stole swiped the chair from Portia!

Warlord: Business has picked up here at Won't Back Down!

Sara managed to save Claudio, but Nicole nailed Sara from behind with a forearm shot. Sara went down, and the Ninjas immediately began putting the boots to her! Claudio tried to come to the rescue, but Brodie grabbed Claudio and whipped him into the steel ring railing! Sara took a beating from Nicole and Portia until BRYAN DANIELSON sprinted to ringside. Danielson swooped into the fray, grabbed Sara in a fireman's carry, and whisked her away from danger.

Sweeney: What a save by Danielson!

Brodie moved in for the kill on Claudio, but Claudio got up from the railing and caught Brodie flush with a European Uppercut that stunned the Big Rig. Claudio quickly rolled Brodie back into the ring, and as Brodie staggered to his feet, Claudio trapped him and drilled Brodie into the mat with the Ricola Bomb! Before Xavier could react, Claudio made the cover and picked up the three count!

WINNER: CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI


Daytondave: Score one for the Unmanglers! It was a dicey situation there for a few moments, but thanks to Sara and Bryan, Castagnoli was able to escape with the win.

Sweeney: Troy Xavier does NOT look happy about how that went down. Hahaha! Eat that, you smarmy little loser!

Warlord: Wow- for once we agree on something, Sweeney! How about a hug?

Sweeney: Don't push your luck, Al Franken.

Daytondave: Knock it off, you two. That was a stinging defeat for the Xavier Alliance- but Troy needs to gather his thoughts and get ready for the CHIKARA Trios Championship match!



CHIKARA Trios Championship
TIM DONST & WAR MACHINE (c) vs. 3.OLE
The big men from War Machine dominated this match throughout, hitting the War Machine on Shane Matthews to nearly put his lights out. But out of nowhere, Scott Parker hit the ring, caught Donst in a Flash Roll-up, and scored the pin!

WINNERS AND NEW CHIKARA TRIOS CHAMPIONS: 3.OLE


Daytondave: How about that! Scott Parker stole a pin- and the Trios Championship! Congratulations to 3.Ole, the first-ever two-time CHIKARA Trios Champions!

Warlord: It's been a rough night for Troy Xavier so far tonight, you know?

Sweeney: The Alliance still has a shot at the Grand Championship later tonight.

Daytondave: This is true- but up next, the Ladies of the Heartland will take center stage with the title on the line!



Heartland Ladies' Championship
CHEERLEADER MELISSA (c) vs. ANGELUS LAYNE
Angelus came into the match as the ultimate underdog, but she took the fight to the champion and plastered Melissa with a running cannonball into the corner. Angelus nailed the Victory Layne, but Melissa was able to kick out. WIth CRUEFAN shouting encouragement at ringside, Melissa dragged Angelus out of the ring and slammed the challenger headfirst onto the steel ring steps. Angelus appeared to be gashed over her left eye, and Melissa gained control. It took three tries, but the Air Raid Crash finally ended the night for Angelus.

WINNER, AND STILL HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPION: CHEERLEADER MELISSA


Warlord: Wow, that is one tough chick.

Sweeney: Don't I know it. We've been trying for months to take her down.

Daytondave: Congratulations to Cheerleader Melissa for retaining the Heartland Ladies' Title! That match was brutal for both women, but Melissa once again found a way to win. Angelus gave her heart and soul, and literally her blood, but Melissa took all of her best shots and held her title. Give credit to both ladies for an amazing match. Fans, the time has come to decide the champions of the 2017 Independent Tag Team League!



2017 Independent Tag Team League Championship
THE TRIBE vs. THE BRAVADO BROTHERS
The top two teams from the 2017 league went to battle with the championship on the line, and both squads were in peak form. The Tribe were physically dominant, but the Bravados had plenty of tricks up their sleeve to keep the Tribe off balance. The Brothers doubled up on Warrior and dropped him with the Gentleman's Agreement, but the big Navajo powered out. The Bravados continued to rough up Warrior, but Warrior finally escaped to tag in to Hawaiian Lion. Lion chopped down both opponents, and with an incredible flurry, Lion chopped Lancelot out of the ring and plastered Harlem with a Volcano Bomb for the pin!

WINNERS AND 2017 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE CHAMPIONS: THE TRIBE


Daytondave: Congratulations to the Hawaiian Lion and the Navajo Warrior! They are the champions of the Tag Team League!

Warlord: They earned it, fellas. They were the best team all year long.

Sweeney: For once, Warlord, I gotta agree with you. The Tribe earned that championship.

Daytondave: Congratulations to all 14 teams for a terrific league in 2017. We'll book this again in 2017 and who knows what will happen! Fans- it has been a great night so far- and now, we bring you the Main Event!



Main Event: CHIKARA Grand Championship
DELIRIOUS (c) vs. EDDIE KINGSTON
The ongoing war between Kingston and Delirious took its bloodiest turn yet. The battle raged inside the ring and out, with brutality from the word go. Delirious exploded with a burst of energy and dropped Eddie with three Praying Mantis Bombs, but Eddie kicked out three times and pitched Delirious out of the ring. Eddie and Delirious continued to battle on the floor, where Eddie nailed Delirious with a backfist to the future! Delirious was staggered, and he went under the ring and retrieved a monkey wrench! The referee tried to stop Delirious, but Delirious shoved the ref aside and nailed Kingston with the wrench! The referee immediately called for the disqualification.

WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: EDDIE KINGSTON

DELIRIOUS RETAINS THE CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP

The match was over, but the carnage had just begun. Delirious took another swing at Kingston with the wrench, but Eddie ducked away and Delirious slammed the wrench into the steel ring post. Kingston alertly kicked the ring steps, and the steps caught Delirious across the knees. Delirious went down, and Kingston waved to the backstage area. TIM DONST dashed to ringside, picked up the wrench, and slammed it onto Delirious' left knee! Delirious howled in pain, while Kingston grabbed the injured knee of Delirious and placed the ring steps on top of it. Donst climbed to the ring apron, then jumped onto the steps, driving the steel into the knee of Delirious with a mighty crash! Delirious shrieked again, prompting BRYAN DANIELSON & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI to sprint in from the locker room. Kingston and Donst scattered, but the damage had been done. Donst and Kingston retreated to the curtain, where they were met by a smiling TROY XAVIER as the crowd booed passionately.


Daytondave: Good heavens! What did we just witness?

Warlord: That little scoundrel Troy and his thugs have really done it this time! I told you not to trust that guy!

Sweeney: Quit your whining. Delirious pulled the wrench first, but he couldn't put Kingston down and that masked retard paid the price.

Daytondave: And it looks like a serious price. The trainers have called for the stretcher, and they already have that left knee in an immobilizer.

Sweeney: And we now have a one-legged champion!

Daytondave: I fail to see the humor in this situation, Sweeney. Fans- Won't Back Down has come to a tragic conclusion here in South Dakota. We're done here- but we'll get you all an update on the condition of the CHIKARA Grand Champion as soon as possible. CHIKARA will be back in action next Saturday Night and we should know the extent of the injury to Delirious on that broadcast. Meanwhile, congratulations to tonight's big winners!
