BB&T Center, Highland Heights, Kentucky

The show opens with the tune, "Awake and Alive" by Skillet playing overhead. The crowd cheers loudly as WARLORD emerges through the curtain. Warlord waves his arms up and down, bringing the fans to their feet. Warlord points to the curtain, and the fans erupt as EPICDAVE enters the arena. EpicDave is followed by KING KONG BUNDY & DON LEO JONATHAN. Jonathan tosses Kentucky Fried Chicken drumsticks to the fans around the arena as Bundy claps his hands and leads the cheers.

Crowd: EPIC-DAVE! EPIC-DAVE! EPIC-DAVE!

Warlord: No cheap pops needed tonight! EpicDave, it's great to have you back!

EpicDave: And it's great to be back in the Heartland. Warlord- Wide Load- I can't thank you enough for all your support during my little nap- but the people I missed the most were you great Heartland Fans! It's been a long, strange trip indeed- and I would also like to thank LARRY SWEENEY and COLT CABANA for holding the fort at the broadcast booth while I was away. But now I am back and I am ready for some great Heartland action! We're gonna take a trip in the wayback machine tonight, fans, and kick things off with a Heartland Ladies' match featuring a face from the past. We have a special Feature Match lined up at the end of the night, and we're gonna have a good time from start to finish. So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



TRINITY DENUCCI defeated BARBI HAYDEN by disqualification
The fans gave a nice greeting to both ladies, and the match started at a competitive pace. Barbi took control early, using strikes and slams to punish Trinity. After taking some punishment, Trinity finally battled back with a pair of rolling snap suplexes. Barbi got frustrated and left the ring, pulling Trinity under the bottom rope to the arena floor. Referee BIG JIM THE ENFORCER tried to get control, but Barbi slammed Trinity face-first to the announcers' table and Big Jim called for the DQ.


EpicDave: Wow! It didn't take long for that match to break down. Nice to see my old pal Big Jim laying down the law!

Warlord: He's all man and a yard wide!

EpicDave: Ready for another walk down memory lane?



N-R-G (RACE JAXON & HYPE ROCKWELL*) defeated CHAZ & TUGBOAT TAYLOR****
The team of N-R-G battled the father and son Taylor duo in a well-fought and clean match. Both teams worked well, but the coordination of N-R-G was a step ahead as Hype finally took out Papa Tugboat with the Hyperwheel.


EpicDave: Now that's the kind of pure wrestling action that I love.



ARIK CANNON pinned TIM DONST* (w/TROY XAVIER)
A big upset for the Xavier Alliance! Donst got off to a good start against Cannon, taking the Anarchist down with a Gator Roll and locking him in to the CHIKARA Special. Cannon managed to get to the ropes to break the hold, and Donst lost his focus in frustration. Cannon exploded out of the corner and turned Donst inside out with a running clothesline to pick up the flash pin!


Warlord: Donst loses! Donst loses! Troy Xavier is a loser!

EpicDave: Big man, some things never change. No matter how long I spend in a coma, I know I can wake up and Warlord will still hate Troy Xavier. Give credit to Arik Cannon for taking advantage of a situation. All right, fans- as I mentioned earlier, thanks to Larry Sweeney for pulling double duty while I was out of commission. Larry has asked for a trios match for his efforts, and I was happy to book that as tonight's Feature Match.



FEATURE MATCH: CHIKARA TRIOS
SWEET 'N KIMBER, INC. (LARRY SWEENEY, ADAM PEARCE, & PINKIE SANCHEZ*) defeated 3.OLE (EL GENERICO*, SHANE MATTHEWS**, & SCOTT PARKER)
The longtime rivals battled in and out of the ring in an exciting contest. 3.Ole held the momentum for most of the match, until Sweeney reversed Matthews into a Boa Constrictor. Matthews struggled his way free, but Sweeney made the tag to Pearce who finished off Big Magic with a Jumping Piledriver.


EpicDave: Congratulations to Larry Sweeney and company for a nice win in Sweeney's return to action. I know the fans are disappointed to see 3.Ole go down to defeat, and it will only get worse when we hear Sweeney crowing about it on our next show. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! CHIKARA will be back on Saturday night with a full night of action, including a title match in our Main Event. It will be THE CANADIAN NINJAS putting the Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship on the line against the formidable challenge of SHAYNA BASZLER & NICOLE SAVOY. Good to see the now EpicDave back behind the mic. What was not good to see was Larry Sweeney and his "goon squad" of Adam Pearce and Pinkie Sanchez beating 3.Ole. Sweeney's head is really going to swell after that win. I loved the enjoyment that The Warlord had over Troy Xavier's charge Tim Donst losing to Arik Cannon. I won't go so far as to call it an upset but a good win by Cannon. It will be fun to see "my girls" Shayna & Nicole take on the Canadian Ninjas for the Heartland Ladies tag titles.

Warlord: EPICDAVE! EPICDAVE! EPICDAVE!

EpicDave: Hey, fans! Thanks for such a terrific welcome. It's great to be back at the helm for another night of CHIKARA professional wrestling action. And tonight, we are just one week away from the pay-per-view broadcast of Heartland Havoc LXXXIV: A Call To Arms! LARRY SWEENEY will be on hand to tell you all about it in tonight's "Sweet Talk." Also tonight, our Main Event will feature the Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship! THE CANADIAN NINJAS will have their hands full when they defend the titles against SHAYNA BASZLER & NICOLE SAVOY. TROY XAVIER will need to be at his devious best if his champions are going to keep the belts tonight.

Warlord: I don't trust that Xavier guy.

EpicDave: So I've heard. It's gonna be an action-packed night, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



ETHAN PAGE* pinned ARIK CANNON*
It was a short, but spirited brawl to open the show. It ended rather quickly when Cannon walked in to the Spinning Dwayne.


EpicDave: Ethan Page gets back on the winning track to kick things off for tonight. Let's check out some tag team action!



SCARLET & GRAVES (DEZMOND XAVIER* & ZACHARY WENTZ) defeated THE THROWBACKS (SUGAR DUNKERTON & DASHER HATFIELD***)
An action-packed contest turned in favor of the rookies when Zachary Wentz caught fire! Wentz took over on Hatfield with a flurry of aerial moves and an assist from Xavier. Dasher was reeling when Zachary nailed the Baywood Bomb and covered him for the three count.


Warlord: Down goes Dasher. Too bad Donder and Blitzen weren't there to bail him out.

EpicDave: Another bad pun by the big man. Maybe I should have stayed in my coma. But the important thing is- that's two points for Xavier and Dez- they are on the verge of a shot at the Campeonatos!



CEDRIC ALEXANDER pinned MARK ANGELOSETTI**
This top 8 contenders' match was hard-hitting and intense. Action went back and forth until Alexander drilled Angelosetti with a backbreaker onto the turnbuckle. Cedric kicked it into high gear, delivering a pair of devastating Kick 2 Kill Part II for the pin.


EpicDave: That was impressive. Alexander had a strong year in ROH and the other indies in 2017, and he is moving up the ranks in CHIKARA as well! Next up, fans- another confrontation between the Xavier Alliance and the Unmanglers!



NO DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCH
CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI pinned TIM DONST* (w/TROY XAVIER)
Castagnoli made quick work of Donst, hammering Tim with a series of European uppercuts and finishing him off with a Bicycle Kick.

As Claudio celebrated, Xavier brought out WAR MACHINE to sneak attack! Hanson nailed Claudio with a clothesline to the back of the head, knocking Claudio to the mat. Rowe came off the ropes and slammed onto Claudio with a big splash, causing the ring to shake from the impact! Before the War Machine could inflict more punishment, BRYAN DANIELSON rushed in from backstage with a steel chair. Rowe and Hansen slid out of the ring, leaving Claudio laying as Danielson came to his aid.


Warlord: Troy Xavier is a worthless piece of garbage, and so is anyone who hangs out with him. I am glad that Danielson saved Claudio from an even worse beating.

EpicDave: You and me both, big man. I think Claudio would love to get his hands on the War Machine with Danielson as his partner. I am booking it for the pay-per-view next week! All right, fans- while the action settles down at ringside, let's take you to this week's edition of "Sweet Talk".

The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk", where Larry Sweeney stands at the podium with a grin. He is accompanied by KIMBER LEE and JESSIE MCKAY. Sweeney smirks as he acknowledges the crowd.

Sweeney: Hello, Lexington, and welcome to "Sweet Talk". I'm Larry Sweeney, and it's good to be me. It's always good when you are part of Sweet 'N Kimber, Incorporated. How about that Trios win on Wednesday night? Me and my boys are better than ever, and before you know it, that Trios Championship will be back here with us.

(Boos)

Sweeney: Hahaha! It ain't braggin' when you can back it up, baby. It's a busy time in the world of the indies, and we have a lot to cover tonight. So try to keep up!

(Boos)

Sweeney: Aw, lighten up! I haven't even started on you people yet. First off, I must say that the set of Sweet Talk looks great- better than ever- since you got rid of that bozo JOEBREAKDOWN. Wise choice, Jessie. Now, on to the wrestling scene. Once again, the promotional genius of MARC KANTER was on full display this week! Big Daddy's newest creation, Freeform Wrestling, tore up Denver last weekend! Kudos to CHEERLEADER MELISSA for capturing the Freeform Women's Title in a triple threat match, and to the team of "BAD" BRAD ALLEN and "MEAN" MARK BREWER for winning the Freeform Tag Team Championship. Plus, ACH defended his Freeform Heavyweight Title, and over in Ultimate Kombat Wrestling, AR FOX kept his hold on the Best Of The Best Championship! What a great week of action presented by Mr. Kanter.

Sweeney: Style Battle returned for Season Two this week, and it was JIMMY JACOBS who manned up and won the tournament in Episode One. Congrats to Jimmy for advancing to the final chapter of season two later this year. Things didn't turn out as well for JONATHAN GRESHAM, who was eliminated from the tournament after a distraction from ADAM PAGE. No doubt, there will be retribution for that act when Style Battle returns. I am already looking forward to Episode Two: Attack Of The Clones!

Sweeney: CCW Supergirls returned to action this week! NICOLE MATTHEWS came out on top in an exciting ten-lady Battle Royal. SHAYNA BASZLER & DEONNA PURRAZZO held on to the tag team titles, and SARAYA KNIGHT successfully defended the SuperGirls Championship. But watch out, Saraya- NEVAEH is hot on the trail and she is coming after the gold!

Sweeney: The King Of The Indies Championship Tournament has reached the semifinals! Stay tuned this week as former HWA stablemates SHAUN RICKER & SAMI CALLIHAN square off out west, and AR FOX meets JONATHAN GRESHAM to determine who will make it to the championship match! The final bout will go down next week at Heartland LXXXIV: A Call To Arms in Louisville, where the next King Of The Indies will be crowned!

Sweeney: Also at A Call To Arms, RICOCHET will defend his CHIKARA Grand Championship against RODERICK STRONG, and CHEERLEADER MELISSA will put the Heartland Ladies' Championship on the line. The #1 Contenders' Match for the Ladies' title will take place right here later tonight!

As the crowd cheers, a stage hand passes a note to Kimber Lee, who hands it to Sweeney.

Sweeney: And this just in, folks- WHAT?!? It says here that next week, ADAM PEARCE has been signed to defend the Generic Secondary Championship against BRODIE LEE! Who sanctioned that? I demand answers!

Sweeney storms off the set, followed by Kimber and Jessie, as the scene returns to ringside.


EpicDave: I'm baaack! I am no fan of Brodie Lee, but he does deserve a return match for the Generic Secondary Championship, and that WILL happen next week. Now, let's head back to the ring for the rest of tonight's action!



2018 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE
THE TRIBE (0-0) vs. THE AMERICAN WOLVES (0-0)
Two well-matched and well-coordinated teams faced off in their league debut, and the competition was fierce. Several minutes went by as Richards and Warrior dueled evenly. Warrior finally powered Davey into the Tribe corner of the ring, where Warrior and Lion doubled up on Davey but couldn't put him away. Davey finally escaped, beaten and worn down, and tagged in Edwards. Eddie took over on Lion a series of knee smashes and a wicked Tiger Suplex. Davey recovered enough to fend off the Warrior and enable Eddie to finish the victory with the Die Hard.

WINNERS: THE AMERICAN WOLVES

After the match, the beaten Tribe offered the Wolves a handshake, but Edwards slapped away the hand of Warrior and Richards spat in the face of the Lion! Lion reacted angrily, but the Wolves quickly slipped out of the ring and escaped up the ramp.


Warlord: Are you freakin' kidding me? It's bad enough losing to those ROH punks- but that little pipsqueak Davey Richards just spit on the Navajo Warrior!

EpicDave: Unbelievable. The Tribe is one of the top tag teams in all of the Indies- in fact, they were champions of the tag team league in 2017. After a great match and a great show of sportsmanship, Richards decides to deliver that kind of a low-class insult. I am disgusted.


The mood is still foul when the tune, "Copacabana" hits the speakers and COLT CABANA struts down the aisle. The fans cheer, but Cabana looks stern as he reaches the announcers' table.

Cabana: EpicDave- long time no see. You are dead on about this Ring of Honor bullcrap. Ring of Cowards is exactly what I think of those guys. And you know what? It's time to put those little scrubs in their place- starting next week at the pay-per-view! I got me a partner, and we are calling out THE YOUNG BUCKS! In case you don't remember, EpicDave- the Bucks are the ones who kicked you in the head- so they are the first ones going down.

EpicDave: A partner? Who ya got?

The arena goes dark, except for the swirling of red spotlights. The tune, "Hybrid Stigmata" by Dimmu Borgir blares overhead and DELIRIOUS stalks through the curtain! Cabana heads up the ramp and meets Delirious on the entry way as the fans erupt with cheers.


Warlord: That's my guy!

EpicDave: Delirious and Colt Cabana have called out the Young Bucks! Book it, baby!

Warlord: I can't wait to see those buttheads get their tails kicked!

EpicDave: That's money, baby. Next Saturday night at Heartland Havoc LXXXIV: A Call To Arms. All right, fans- also next week, we'll see CHEERLEADER MELISSA defend her title against the winner of our next match.



HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS MATCH
TRISH STRATUS (w/JIMMY HART) defeated KELLY KLEIN***
Jimmy Hart had the game plan laid out for Trish, and Trish followed it to perfection. Using a "stick and move" strategy, Trish avoided the power of Kelly and wore down Kelly with kicks and the Air Canada. When the moment was right, Trish flung Kelly to the ropes and hoisted her over with a Spinebuster! Kelly was shaken and staggered to her feet, and Trish immediately caught Kelly with the Stratusfaction for the pin!


EpicDave: Congratulations to Trish for a big win! Jimmy Hart is ecstatic at ringside- because Trish is headed to A Call To Arms to challenge for the Heartland Ladies' Championship! We've seen Trish to battle with Cheerleader Melissa before- and they certainly have a history! But now- we take you to tonight's Main Event!



MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
NICOLE SAVOY* & SHAYNA BASZLER** defeated THE CANADIAN NINJAS (PORTIA PEREZ & NICOLE MATTHEWS* w/TROY XAVIER)
A crazy Main Event! Both teams were hyped up and ready for battle, but the crowd was surprised by the arrival of CRUEFAN & JOEBREAKDOWN to watch from ringside. Cruefan and Joebreakdown were directed by Baszler to seats in the front row as the match began. Shayna took a pummeling early on as the Ninjas isolated Shayna and double-teamed her repeatedly. Troy was delighted at his team's success. Joebreakdown and Cruefan rooted for the challengers, and several minutes into the match, Joebreakdown and Cruefan removed their jackets to reveal T-shirts emblazened with the words, "JESSIE IS A SLAG".

Crowd: WE HATE SLAGS! WE HATE SLAGS!

The battle continued in the ring, but the fans were distracted as JESSIE MCKAY stormed down the ramp in a fit of rage! Jessie was followed by KIMBER LEE, who tried to calm Jessie. Jessie pitched a hellacious fit, angrily slapping at both men. Cruefan and Joebreakdown tried to escape, but Jessie went to the announcers' table and grabbed one of the tag title belts and swung it wildly, missing both men!

Warlord: Wait- what? What's that slag doing with the title belt?

EpicDave: Come on now, Warlord. That's not nice!

In the chaos, Portia Perez saw Jessie with the tag belt, and Portia came to the apron to confront Jessie. Portia tried to grab the belt from Jessie, and a tug of war began! Portia ripped the belt away from Jessie, but Portia recoiled, swinging the belt around and accidentally nailing Nicole Matthews in the back of the head! Matthews flopped to the canvas, and Nicole Savoy quickly covered Matthews for the three count!


SHAYNA BASZLER & NICOLE MATTHEWS WIN THE HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP


After the decision, Jessie continued to shriek at Joebreakdown and Cruefan. Kimber joined in berating the men, but Shayna came from behind the girls and cracked the ladies' heads together with a vicious double noggin knocker! Savoy grabbed the belts, and handed one each to Joebreakdown and Cruefan. Baszler and Savoy then picked up Joebreakdown and Cruefan, hoisted the men over their shoulders, and carried them away from ringside.


Warlord: That is the greatest thing I have ever seen! Cruefan and Joebreakdown are wearing the belts- and Shayna and Nicole are wearing Cruefan and Joebreakdown!

EpicDave: No doubt about it- that is an unforgettable sight. Congratulations to Shayna Baszler and Nicole Savoy- they did what they had to do and took advantage of the opportunity to win that match and come away with the titles! The show opens with the tune, "A Call To Arms" by Saxon playing overhead. EPICDAVE enters the arena, flanked by WARLORD & LARRY SWEENEY. The fans are buzzing with anticipation for the action as EpicDave takes the microphone.

EpicDave: Hey, fans- welcome to Heartland Havoc LXXXIV: A Call To Arms. Tonight is the beginning of a new era in the King of the Indies, as we will finally crown a new champion. The most prestigious title in independent wrestling has been vacant since the departure of Ring of Honor: New York from the King of the Indies Alliance.

Sweeney: Ring of what?

Warlord: RING OF COWARDS!

Crowd: RING OF COWARDS! (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap)
RING OF COWARDS! (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap)
RING OF COWARDS! (clap, clap, clap-clap-clap)

Sweeney: Yeah!

EpicDave: Emotions are continuing to run high about this whole situation, ever since ADAM COLE surrendered the title. But tonight, SAMI CALLIHAN and JONATHAN GRESHAM will face off in tonight's Main Event to claim the belt!

Warlord: That match will be intense!

Sweeney: Callihan is a maniac. I don't know if Gresham can handle that.

EpicDave: It will certainly be a contrast of styles. I can't wait to see who brings home the gold tonight. Plus, THE YOUNG BUCKS have answered the challenge, and they will face BRYAN DANIELSON & COLT CABANA in a No Disqualification Grudge Match. And, we have three other championship matches on the card! It's gonna be A Call To Arms for all the superstars of CHIKARA tonight, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



Generic Secondary Championship
ADAM PEARCE (c) vs. BRODIE LEE

The animosity between these men started early, as brawling outside the ring was a frequent event. Lee brought the fury, but Pearce stood his ground and dumped the Big Rig with a swinging neckbreaker on the arena floor! TROY XAVIER tried to interfere for Brodie, but PINKIE SANCHEZ sprinted to ringside and pulled Xavier to the ground. Action returned to the ring with Brodie still stunned, and Pearce dropped Brodie with the Jumping Piledriver for the three count!

WINNER AND STILL CHIKARA GENERIC SECONDARY CHAMPION: ADAM PEARCE


Sweeney: That's my guy! Way to get it done!

Lee reacted with frustration after the pin, but Pearce slid out of the ring and Sanchez grabbed the belt. Pearce and Sanchez high-tailed it away from the ring before Lee could get to his feet.

EpicDave: I gotta hand it to you, Sweeney. I didn't think Pearce could beat Brodie a second time, but he got it done and he remains the Generic Secondary Champion.



Grudge Match: No Disqualification
BRYAN DANIELSON & CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI vs. WAR MACHINE

The first grudge match of the night was nothing short of an all-out war! The War Machine was firing on all cylinders for most of the contest, bullying the Unmanglers with their power. Danielson took a prolonged beating from both men, and Rowe in particular punished the Dragon with repeated suplexes. Claudio finally tagged in, but met a similar degree of abuse from both members of War Machine. Claudio refused to back down, and as the match wore on, the Unmanglers seemed to get stronger and quicker as War Machine began to tire. Claudio rocked Hanson with a Roaring European Uppercut, and Rowe was barely able to save his partner from taking the pin. Undeterred, Claudio hoisted Rowe into the Ricola Bomb to finally gain a hard-fought victory!

WINNERS: DANIELSON & CASTAGNOLI

After the pin, Claudio stood over Rowe with a satisfied smile as Danielson climbed through the ropes to celebrate with his partner. From out of nowhere, TIM DONST slid into the ring with a beer bottle and cracked Claudio over the back of the head! Claudio went down, with a huge gash pouring blood from the back of his head. The referee immediately jumped in to protect Claudio as Donst rolled out of the ring with a sinister grin.


EpicDave: Are you serious? That was hellacious!

Warlord: I told you never to trust that guy Xavier- or anyone who hangs out with him.

EpicDave: You never liked Xavier from day one- but your suspicions have proven to be correct. I am disgusted. As soon as they get the ring cleared out, we're going to see another title match!



Heartland Ladies' Championship
CHEERLEADER MELISSA (c) vs. TRISH STRATUS

Longtime rivals Trish and Melissa went toe-to-toe for nearly twenty minutes! Melissa worked over Trish with body shots and slams, but Trish returned fire with stiff chops and a nasty bicycle kick. Testing the will of referee BIG JIM THE ENFORCER, Trish repeated applied choke holds to Melissa to wear her down. Melissa protested to Big Jim, giving Jimmy Hart the opening to slide the megaphone to Trish! Trish caught Melissa with a shot to the back of the neck, dropping Melissa to the canvas. Trish went for the cover as Big Jim turned his attention to the match, but Melissa was able to get her foot over the bottom rope to interrupt the count. Melissa was woozy, but instinctively caught Trish coming in with a Samoan Drop! Melissa was still dazed, but followed up with a Kudoh Driver! Melissa covered Trish, but Trish kicked out at two-and-a-half!

Crowd: THIS IS AWE-SOME!

Both women were in rough shape, and barely able to get to their knees. Melissa and Trish continued battering each other from their knees, exchanging chops and forearms to the point of exhaustion. Melissa finally struggled to her feet, and pulled Trish up for another Kudoh Driver. But Trish was able to slip away from Melissa's lift, pushing Melissa to the ropes and springing back with the Stratusfaction! Trish crawled on top of Melissa, hooking her leg as Big Jim began the count. Melissa had nothing left to kick out, as Big Jim completed the three count!

WINNER AND NEW HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPION: TRISH STRATUS


EpicDave: Ladies and gentlemen, history has been made here in Louisville! Trish Stratus has captured the Heartland Ladies' Championship in a sensational match! Trish did everything she had to do to come out on top tonight, with an assist from Jimmy Hart. Jimmy is beside himself with joy as he has brought the championship belt into the ring in celebration.

Warlord: Melissa had a great run as champion.

EpicDave: Seven time champion, to be exact. And she'll be back- but tonight belongs to Trish Stratus as she takes the title for the second time. Congratulations to Trish for a big win tonight! And next up- a match that I have been waiting weeks to witness. My old friends COLT CABANA & DELIRIOUS are ready to throw down with those snarky little spot monkeys from the Ring of Cowards!

Warlord: I hope the Young Bucks pay the price tonight.



Retribution Match: No Disqualification
THE YOUNG BUCKS vs. DELIRIOUS & COLT CABANA

The war of the federations continued with a brutal battle as Cabana and Delirious took on the Bucks. The CHIKARA guys were intent on inflicting harm, but the Jackson brothers went in and out quicker than a hiccup. Cabana got caught in the Bucks corner, where the Bucks drilled Colt with repeated double-teams until Colt rolled out of the ring and collapsed to the floor. Delirious hit the ring and a frenzy and launched himself at Matt Jackson! Delirious clobbered Matt with a leaping lariat, then trapped Matt in the neutral corner and pounded on Matt with clothesline after clothesline after clothesline! Matt slumped to the corner, and Nick hit the ring to square off with Delirious. Nick and Delirious battled all over the ring until Nick nailed Delirious with a Superkick out of nowhere! Matt came to his senses and went to the top turnbuckle, joining Nick to deliver More Bang For Your Buck for the pin!

WINNERS: THE YOUNG BUCKS

The Bucks celebrated their win, taunting and posing over Delirious as Cabana staggered back into the ring. Cabana glared at the Bucks, but the Bucks nailed Colt with a double superkick! The Bucks waved to the back, and "HANGMAN" ADAM PAGE sprinted to the ring carrying a noose! Page noosed up Delirious and hung him over the top rope! Delirious kicked and struggled until finally, EL GENERICO, SHANE MATTHEWS, & SCOTT PARKER dashed to ringside. The Cowards fled quickly, and the members of 3.Ole were able to unhang Delirious as the crowd hissed and booed.

Warlord: Blast it! I hate those guys! All those little pricks!

EpicDave: You, and everyone else in the world of the indies. What a dark time for the Heartland. Thank goodness we have two more title matches teed up to finish tonight's show.



CHIKARA Grand Championship
RICOCHET (c) vs. RODERICK STRONG

In a surprisingly dominant performance, Roderick Strong took control early in the match and kept Ricochet grounded throughout. Ricochet rallied briefly, but Strong nailed a Sick Kick that ended the suspense. Strong quickly tied Ricochet up in the Strong Hold, and Ricochet was too beaten down to escape before tapping out.

WINNER AND NEW CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPION: RODERICK STRONG

EpicDave: Congratulations to Roderick Strong! He has captured the CHIKARA Grand Championship with a flawless game plan. Roddy never let Ricochet get the aerial attack unleashed, and used his submission game to perfection. He is a highly skilled ring technician and a deserving Grand Champion, without a doubt.

Warlord: Bye bye, Flippy Dippy.

EpicDave: Yeah, big man, I know you love your Flippy Dippies, but tonight was Roderick's night and he has earned the right to call himself the Grand Champion. Fans- finally, we are about to crown a new King Of The Indies- so with no further ado, we bring you the Main Event!


Main Event: King Of The Indies Championship
SAMI CALLIHAN vs. JONATHAN GRESHAM

Throwing caution to the wind, Gresham and Callihan put the pedal to the metal in pursuit of the King Of The Indies championship. Gresham tried to score several early pins with roll-ups and small packages, frustrating Sami. Callihan finally got loose and blasted Gresham with the Forearm 2 Remember, sending Gresham tumbling out of the ring. Callihan wasted no time in launching himself onto Gresham with a suicide dive, wiping out both men on the arena floor. Both men staggered to their feet, and exchanged forearms and body blows on the arena floor. The referee started the ten count, but neither man was interested in returning to the ring. Gresham slammed Callihan face-first onto the steel ring steps, risking disqualification, but the referee allowed the match to continue.

EpicDave: It's broken down now! But the referee is determined to let these two men decide this championship no matter what!

Both men were on their last legs, when a disturbance broke out at ringside. DAVEY RICHARDS & EDDIE EDWARDS came to the ring and attacked Gresham and Callihan!

Warlord: The Cowards are here! Get those slimy little creeps out of here!

The fans were enraged as Edwards and Richards put the boots to the competitors, but the arena erupted when DJ HYDE stormed down the aisle, accompanied by SHAUN RICKER, THE TRIBE, & RODERICK STRONG! Hyde and the Tribe grabbed Edwards and Richards, pitching both the Wolves over the security railing and into the crowd. The Tribe and The Wolves battled through the crowd, while Strong and Ricker helped Gresham and Callihan back into the ring and stood guard at the base of the ramp while the match continued.

EpicDave: DJ Hyde saves the day! Hyde has been itching for a war with the Ring of Cowards- and it's on! We are going to crown a new King- and there's nothing that Ring of Honor can do about it now!

Callihan and Gresham were both energized as they rolled back into the ring, but Sami had more left in the tank. Sami took control and drilled Gresham into the mat with a Headlock Driver. Gresham was stunned on the impact, and Sami immediately wrapped Gresham into the Stretch Muffler! Gresham tried desperately to claw his way to the bottom rope, but Callihan cranked back on the hold and Gresham was powerless to escape. Gresham refused to submit, struggling and straining until he finally went limp. Gresham was defenseless, and the referee called for the bell!


SAMI CALLIHAN WINS THE KING OF THE INDIES CHAMPIONSHIP


EpicDave: Incredible! Sami Callihan has captured the vacant King Of The Indies Championship after a tremendous match! It took everything that Sami had- not to mention the help from DJ Hyde and company- but Callihan dug deep and fought hard for that win. It's only February, but we may have just witnessed a Match of the Year candidate! And finally, the tournament is complete and we have a new King Of The Indies. Congratulations to Sami Callihan and to all the superstars who competed in that tournament. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight!
