Heartland Havoc never fails to disappoint and congrats to Sami Callihan on becoming the new King of the Indies! Congrats also to Jonathan Gresham for not only getting to the finals over a tough field but giving it his all against Callihan in an awesome final round bout. Roderick Strong grounds Ricochet and takes the CHIKARA Grand Championship in a stunner. Congrats to Strong on a brilliant victory.

The Young Bucks not only get a huge win over Delirious & Colt Cabana but team up with the "Hangman" for a post-match assault. The Bucks always find a way to stir things up and irritate everyone that is for sure. Cheerleader Melissa vs. Trish Stratus was awesome and congrats to Trish on winning the title. The show opens with the tune, "Awake and Alive" by Skillet playing overhead. EPICDAVE & WARLORD enter through the curtain and wave to the cheering fans.

EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome back to Heartland Championship Wrestling! Tonight we return with another broadcast of the CHIKARA brand of professional wrestling. We have just completed a successful pay-per-view presentation of Heartland Havoc LXXXIV: A Call To Arms, where we saw plenty of historic events. Congratulations to SAMI CALLIHAN, your new King Of The Indies!

Crowd: SAMI! SAMI! SAMI!

Warlord: From right here in Western Ohio!

EpicDave: The hometown boy makes the childhood dream come true. We must also congratulate two new Heartland champions. Let's hear it for the new CHIKARA Grand Champion RODERICK STRONG, and the new Heartland Ladies' Champion TRISH STRATUS! And here tonight- the beat rolls on. We have a surprise Main Event tonight, which will be announced tonight on "Sweet Talk". And now, we will kick off tonight's show with a tag team contest. It's a big night in the Heartland, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



SCARLET & GRAVES (DEZMOND XAVIER & ZACHARY WENTZ) defeated CHAZ & TUGBOAT** TAYLOR
The story of this match was the Scarlet and Graves efforts to cope with the power of Tugboat. The big man tossed both youngsters around the ring with ease until Xavier and Wentz joined forces to defeat Tugboat with the Hot Fire Flame.


Warlord: The bigger they are, the harder they fall!

EpicDave: That's three points for Scarlet & Graves! They have earned a shot at the Campeonatos!

Warlord: Nice knowing you, kids. These guys don't stand a chance against War Machine!



CANDICE LERAE pinned MERCEDES MARTINEZ**
An upset in the Ladies' Division! Mercedes was the favorite in this match, but Candice went to the air and hit Mercedes with a variety of flying moves to keep Mercedes off balance. Mercedes was gassed, and Candice delivered a release overhead suplex for the pin!


EpicDave: How about that?

Warlord: One good chop from Mercedes would break that little gal in half!

EpicDave: You may be right- but Candice was smart enough to keep out of Mercedes' wheelhouse and come up with the win.



DELIRIOUS pinned UHAA NATION****
True to form, Delirious started off quickly and overwhelmed Uhaa with his flurry of leaping lariats and a pair of Panic Attacks. Before Uhaa knew what hit him, Delirious dropped him with the Bizzarro Driver for the pin.


Warlord: He's my hero!

EpicDave: It's good to see Delirious back in action.



2018 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE
3.0 (SCOTT PARKER & SHANE MATTHEWS) (1-0) vs. MIKE QUACKENBUSH & JIGSAW (0-1)
A crazy exciting match with all four men in and out of the ring at lightning speed. Jigsaw tried to steal a win with a rollup on Matthews, but Big Magic escaped at the count of two. Seconds later, Parker caught Quackenbush with a Flash Roll-up and held him down for the three count!

WINNERS: 3.0

EpicDave: Congratulations to Matthews and Parker. They are off to a quick start this season- already 2-0! All right, fans- we promised you a special announcement tonight, so we take you now to LARRY SWEENEY for this week's edition of "Sweet Talk"!

The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk", where LARRY SWEENEY stands alongside ADAM PEARCE & PINKIE SANCHEZ. Sweeney looks intense, while Pearce and Sanchez scan the backstage area. Pearce holds the Generic Secondary Championship over his shoulder proudly as Sweeney prepares his remarks.

Sweeney: Hello, Redskins!

Sanchez whispers to Sweeney.

Sweeney: Yes, I KNOW they are the Red Hawks now. Since when has political correctness been my problem? Welcome to "Sweet Talk", Redskins. I'm Larry Sweeney and it's good to be me. If you are wondering about KIMBER LEE & JESSIE MCKAY- they are backstage getting ready to fight. That's right- my girls have been called out by THE CANADIAN NINJAS, who are still crying about losing the ladies' tag titles. You ladies just need to grow a pair!

Pearce whispers to Sweeney.

Sweeney: Yes, I KNOW that cajones don't grow on girls. Will you two just do your job? You're the bodyguards, and I am the host. Stay in your lane! Now- where was I- tonight on Sweet Talk, we review the new King of the Indies Rankings! As you know, SAMI CALLIHAN won the King Of The Indies and he is the number one man in the Rankings. He's batcrap crazy, but he gets it done. Congratulations to Sami! CHUCK TAYLOR and BRYAN DANIELSON are number two and number three- but BIG DADDY KANTER has stepped up and booked a KOTI Championship Match for Vegas Champion SHAUN RICKER! As always, you can count on Kanter to step up and shake things up. So, it will be the longtime training partners from right here in the Heartland, Callihan and Ricker, throwing down for the gold!

Sweeney: To the surprise of no one, CHEERLEADER MELISSA is on top of the Ladies' Rankings. Even though Melissa lost the Heartland Ladies' Championship, she still holds the Freeform Ladies' Championship and the Wrestling Vixens Championship and she is still the baddest lady on the planet. Further back in the ratings, AWE Women's Champion KELLY KLEIN and the new Heartland Ladies' Champion TRISH STRATUS are second and third. What a run Kelly Klein has put together. Another Southwest Ohio product making a name in the wrestling world.

Sweeney: How about SHAYNA BASZLER? She holds two separate tag team belts with two different partners, and those teams are #1 and #2 in the rankings! Shayna and DEONNA PURRAZZO have captured the CCW SuperGirls Tag Team Titles, and Shayna is teaming with NICOLE SAVOY here in the Heartland. That is stellar! But don't forget about KAY LEE RAY & MIA YIM, who are the Wrestling Vixens Tag Team Champions, and they are quickly establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

Sweeney: And last but not least, THE TRIBE is now the top tag team in the indies! NAVAJO WARRIOR & HAWAIIAN LION have put together a legendary resume and they deserve their place at the top. But there is one thing missing from the Tag Team rankings, and that is the King Of The Indies Tag Team Championship. And tonight- it is my privilege to announce that the top eight tag teams from 2017 have been selected to compete for the titles! EpicDave and all the KOTI promoters who are worth a hoot have come together to create another outstanding tournament. Check out the brackets!

Sweeney: It ain't often that I get to close "Sweet Talk" with this kind of applause, but I think we can agree that the KOTI Tag Team Championship Tournament is going to be something special. And with that, I will wrap up tonight's edition of "Sweet Talk" and throw it back to EpicDave and his ugly bald broadcast partner at ringside. The pleasure was yours!


JERRY LYNN*** defeated DONOVAN DIJAK***** by countout
It was a back-and-forth battle pitting the aerial prowess of Jerry Lynn against the power of Dijak. The two contenders went inside and out of the ring as the intensity built. Finally, Lynn nailed a suicide dive on the arena floor and Dijak was unable to make it back to the ring.


EpicDave: That was tremendous! Two of our top eight contenders putting it all on the line. Jerry Lynn is hungry for a shot at the gold, and he just came one step closer. All right, fans- batten down the hatches- THE CANADIAN NINJAS are coming after JESSIE MCKAY & KIMBER LEE- and although these are four lovely ladies, this fight isn't going to be pretty.



GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
THE CANADIAN NINJAS (NICOLE MATTHEWS & PORTIA PEREZ****) defeated KIMBER LEE & JESSIE MCKAY*
It was no holds barred as these four angry ladies went to war! It was an even battle for several minutes until Kimber hurled Portia out of the ring. Portia landed awkwardly and appeared to injure her left ankle. Both Kimber and Jessie pounced on the injured Portia and roughed her up on the arena floor, despite the howls and protests of TROY XAVIER at ringside. Portia escaped into the ring and finally lunged to tag Nicole into the match. Jessie was caught off guard, and Nicole blindsided Jessie with a Russian Leg Sweep and scored a quick three count!

After the decision, Nicole took a wild swing at the fallen Jessie, but LARRY SWEENEY alertly pulled Jessie out of harm's way. Nicole turned her attention to Portia and helped her back to the dressing room, but the taunting continued between all four ladies as they left the ring area.


Warlord: I don't think those girls are finished.

EpicDave: The Ninjas stole the win tonight, but this issue is far from settled.

Warlord: Do girls ever really settle anything?

EpicDave: I refuse to go there. But the Ninjas need to get focused- they have a title rematch in two weeks, but this little feud with Kimber and Jessie could prove to be a distraction. Okay everybody- the moment we have been waiting for- we're going to kick off the King Of The Indies Tag Team Championship Tournament in tonight's Main Event!



MAIN EVENT: KING OF THE INDIES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT: OPENING ROUND
ROPPONGI VICE (BERETTA & ROCKY ROMERO) defeated THE TRIBE (NAVAJO WARRIOR & HAWAIIAN LION*******)
The Tribe are one of the most respected teams on the indy circuit, but Roppongi Vice was ready for them. All four men battled for several minutes, until RPG went to the air against the Lion. Beretta nailed a moonsault, then combined with Romero for a codebreaker/double stomp and Lion was in trouble! Warrior came to the rescue, but the referee put Warrior out of the ring and Roppongi Vice was able to score another vicious combination Strong Zero. Lion was out of commission, and Romero quickly went to the Diablo Armbar. Warrior tried to come to the rescue, but a soaring dropkick from Beretta eliminated Warrior and Lion was forced to tap out.


EpicDave: How about that! I think the whole world was expecting The Tribe to be one of the favorites in this tournament- everybody except Roppongi Vice. Beretta and Romero took charge of this match and they exploited one of the few weaknesses in the Tribe's game. Congratulations to Roppongi Vice for a big win here tonight and a spot in the semifinals of the King Of The Indies Tag Team Championship Tournament. All right, fans- we're done here. EpicDave: Hello, fans, and welcome to tonight's special midweek edition of Heartland Championship Wrestling!

Warlord: Earlham College! What is up!

EpicDave: Are you ready for some wrestling? The superstars of CHIKARA are here tonight with four great matches- including an exciting feature presentation. You'll see a Triple Threat Match with three of the finest athletes on the planet with a shot at the Generic Secondary Championship on the line! CEDRIC ALEXANDER, JERRY LYNN, & ZACH SABRE, JR. will square off and may the best man win! We're gonna have fun tonight, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


CHIKARA CONTRACT MATCH
SHYNRON** pinned JOHN SILVER**
Two cruiserweights looking to prove themselves in CHIKARA squared off in a terrific battle. Silver controlled the early stages of the match, but couldn't put Shynron away with a deadlift German Suplex. Shynron rallied and finally took down Silver with the Spirit Bomb.


Warlord: Hooray Flippy Dippy!

EpicDave: That was a fine match. Silver had a nice run in Beyond Wrestling in 2017, but tonight it was Shynron who rose to the occasion and scored the CHIKARA contract.



2018 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE
BRAVADO BROTHERS (0-1) VS. INCOHERENCE (0-1)
It was a rough night for Lancelot Bravado. Lancelot took the brunt of a serious double-team beating from Delirious and Hallowicked. Harlem did his best to defend his brother, but Hallowicked dumped Harlem out of the ring to allow Delirious to pick up the win with the Bizzaro Driver.

WINNERS: INCOHERENCE


EpicDave: A much-needed win for Incoherence. The Bravados were outstanding in the Tag Team League last year, but they are now 0-2 and already in trouble. Next up- another tag match between two teams looking for a shot at the Campeonatos de Parejas!



THE OSIRIAN PORTAL (AMASIS & OPHIDIAN**) defeated GREEN ANT* & FIRE ANT by disqualification
The Colony and the Portal are among the elite teams in CHIKARA history, and their battle started off as a classic. Ophidian blitzed through both Ants, nearly paralyzing Fire Ant with a Beach Break. The Portal teamed up on Green Ant, but Green Ant caught Ophidian with a Go 2 Sleepy Hollow that nearly decapitated Ophidian! Ophidian rolled out of the ring, and Fire Ant pursued the wounded Ophidian. In defense, Ophidian grabbed a fire extinguisher and threatened to spray Fire Ant! Fire Ant went berserk, dashing around the ring and screaming at the top of his lungs. Fire Ant attacked Ophidian and stole the fire extinguisher! Fire Ant went berserk, slamming the fire extinguisher onto the head of Ophidian! The referee was forced to call for the disqualification.

Warlord: There's a Fire Ant on the loose! He's got an extinguisher and he knows how to use it!

Referees from backstage were summoned to get control of the situation, but Fire Ant could not be settled. Fire Ant swung the extinguisher wildly around ringside, taking out Amasis and several referees. When SENIOR OFFICIAL BRYCE REMSBURG arrived on the scene, Fire Ant activated the extinguisher and sprayed down Bryce! Finally, Green Ant managed to swipe the extinguisher from his partner, and Green Ant smartly hid the extinguisher under the ring. Green Ant was able to calm down Fire Ant and usher him back to the locker room, leaving a trail of fallen referees in his wake.


EpicDave: Are you kidding me?!? Fire Ant just took out three referees- and he assaulted Bryce!

Warlord: Easy there, boss- Fire Ant is paranoid about fire extinguishers!

EpicDave: Three referees- plus Bryce! That makes four. I am suspending Fire Ant for four weeks! That should give him time to cool down.

Warlord: You can't do that! If Fire Ant cools down- he won't be a Fire Ant any more!!

EpicDave: That's his problem. He's suspended and that's that. Now, let's get to the Feature Match of the night!



FEATURE MATCH
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH- WINNER RECEIVES A SHOT AT THE GENERIC SECONDARY CHAMPIONSHIP
ZACH SABRE, JR.*** defeated JERRY LYNN*** & CEDRIC ALEXANDER****
It was action-packed from start to finish in this triple threat match! For much of the contest, it seemed that Alexander was focused on taking out Lynn. Cedric nailed Lynn several times with the enzuigiri, then dropped Jerry with a Lumbar Check! Sabre prevented Cedric from making the pin, but Cedric caught Sabre with another Lumbar Check and made the cover. Sabre barely kicked out and the match continued. Alexander went for a follow-up, but Lynn recovered and drilled Alexander with a dropkick! Sabre saw his opportunity and caught Lynn from behind, hoisting Jerry up into a Sabre Driver to put him down for the three count!


EpicDave: What a finish! Fans, that was a brilliant move by Zach Sabre Jr. to win the triple threat match and earn the opportunity at the Generic Secondary Championship. Congratulations to Sabre- and I can't wait to see him face off against ADAM PEARCE for the title. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! It's been a fun show, and we can't wait to return to action this Saturday night with a full slate of CHIKARA action. Man two shows blew by and I feel like I'm lost! I loved that victory by Zack Sabre Jr. over Jerry Lynn and Cedric Alexander and I really look forward to him taking on Adam Pearce for the Generic Secondary Championship. Fire Ant taking out three officials - wow! Now he's suspended but I'm hoping this will spark a great war between The Colony and the Osirian Portal. Congrats to Shynron on earning a contract with CHIKARA.

As for the previous show I enjoyed that from start to finish. It was cool to see Roppongi Vice advance in the KOTI tag title tourney beating The Tribe. It looks like Kimber & Jessie have their hands full with the Canadian Ninjas. Go Ninjas! Candice LeRae over Mercedes Martinez, what a huge win for Candice. Hopefully that moves her closer to a title shot.

EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to CHIKARA Saturday night! It's great to be here at Purdue University-

Warlord: Purdue? Seriously? They got beat by Wisconsin!

EpicDave: They got beat by Ohio State, too.

EpicDave: So much for tonight's cheap pops.

Warlord: I've never been booed like that! Now I know what it feels like to be LARRY SWEENEY.

EpicDave: Perish the thought! I am sure that Sweeney will have something to say about that later tonight. But fans- all seriousness aside, we're excited to be here tonight with a terrific night of action. The Campeonatos de Parejas title is on the line in tonight's Main Event! Can the upstart young duo of SCARLET & GRAVES take down the WAR MACHINE? That will be a tough task for Xavier and Wentz to pull off. But first, we're going to kick things off with action from the Heartland Ladies' Division. It's going to be a big night in Boilermaker country, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!



ANGELUS LAYNE pinned TRINITY DENUCCI****
The power of Angelus was the dominant factor in this match. Trinity didn't stand a chance as ANgelus cannonballed her in the corner and put her away quickly with the Victory Lane.


EpicDave: Angelus just beat the stuffings out of that Jersey girl.



DONOVAN DIJAK pinned UHAA NATION******
Another impressive power display! Dijak dumped Uhaa with several Dijections, then delivered a crushing Feast Your Eyes for an easy win.


Warlord: That's a big scary dude!

EpicDave: Speaking of big and scary, THE IRRESISTABLE FORCE is back in the Heartland and JIMMY HART is determined to take his ladies back to the top of the tag team division.



THE IRRESISTABLE FORCE (MELANIE CRUISE* & VANESSA KRAVEN** w/JIMMY HART) defeated THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (MADISON RAYNE**** & VELVET SKY*)
Despite the size difference, it was a tough battle between these teams. Melanie delivered a horrific beating to Madison for several minutes, and it looked like the match might be over quickly until Velvet made the save. Vanessa came after Velvet with evil intentions, but Velvet caught Vanessa in a triangle choke! Melanie hit the ring to try and make the save, but referee BIG JIM THE ENFORCER put Melanie out of the ring. JIMMY HART took advantage, giving Velvet a wallop with the magephone! Vanessa rolled Velvet over to her back and covered her for the three count.


EpicDave: That dirty trickster Jimmy Hart has pulled off another dirty victory.

Warlord: He is as dirty as they come!

EpicDave: But the Irresistable Force is one of the few ladies' teams who could stand up to Shayna Baszler and Nicole Savoy. Things are definitely heating up in the Ladies' Tag Team Division!



JERRY LYNN* pinned DELIRIOUS***
An action-packed bout in the CHIKARA top 8! Delirious and Lynn went back and forth for several frenetic minutes before Lynn picked up the win with a tornado DDT.


EpicDave: Jerry Lynn just keeps pressing toward an opportunity for the Grand Championship. Maybe, one day, his dream will be realized. All right, fans- we've seen some great action here so far tonight- let's take a break and check in with LARRY SWEENEY for this week's edition of "Sweet Talk"!

The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk". LARRY SWEENEY stands at the podium, collecting his notes, looking about uncertainly. Sweeney is flanked by ADAM PEARCE & PINKIE SANCHEZ. Conspicuous by their absence, the ladies of Sweet 'N Kimber are nowhere to be seen.

Sweeney: What's going on? Where's KIMBER and JESSIE?

Sanchez (shrugging): Not my night to watch them.

Pearce swats Sanchez on the head.

Pearce: Sanchez, you moron! Stay here and watch Larry while I check on the girls.

Pearce storms away from the set and the camera follows. Pearce stomps backstage and hears a commotion from the ladies' locker room. Without hesitation, Pearce kicks in the door and spots NICOLE MATTHEWS & PORTIA PEREZ beating down Kimber and Jessie! Kimber is slugging it out with Nicole, but Portia grabs one of the tag team belts and uses it to clock Jessie! Jessie collapses to the floor, and Pearce storms into the room.

Sweeney: Jessie!

Pearce bursts through the door to assist Jessie, when out of nowhere Pearce is struck in the head with a massive boot! BRODIE LEE comes into view, grinning broadly as Pearce drops to the floor. Lee slams his boot into the ribs of Pearce over and over until Pearce is limp on the floor. The Ninjas clear Kimber and Jessie out of the room as Lee moves into the hallway and returns carrying a ladder! Lee slams the ladder onto Pearce, driving the steel ladder into Pearce's rib cage. Pearce groaned weakly, and Lee landed a second mighty blow with the ladder before a battalion of referees hit the scene. Lee dropped the ladder and allowed the referees to escort him out of the locker room without incident, just as Larry Sweeney arrived on the scene to assist his fallen associate.


EpicDave: I think that was a setup! The Ninjas attacked the Sweet 'N Kimber girls, and Brodie Lee was just waiting for Pearce to come to the rescue. A brilliant ploy by TROY XAVIER to take his revenge on Sweet 'N Kimber.

Warlord: Troy Xavier was behind this? I hate that guy! What a worthless piece of crap!

EpicDave: You are certainly entitled to your opinion, big man, but Troy definitely got the last laugh tonight. I suppose we won't be hearing from "Sweet Talk" tonight- so let's head back to the ring for another match.



2018 INDEPENDENT TAG TEAM LEAGUE
OI4K (0-0) vs. THE ADDICTION (1-0)
It was a tightly contested battle between two coordinated teams. Daniels dopped Dave with the Angel's Wings early on, and Jake had to hit the ring and make the save. Jake and Dave retaliated on Daniels and teamed up to deliver the Irish Coffee, and it was Kazarian who rescued his partner from defeat. The teams went back and forth for several more minutes until Daniels landed another Angel's Wings on Dave Crist for the pin.

WINNERS: THE ADDICTION


EpicDave: Say what you want about The Addiction and this whole Ring Of Cowards business, but that was an excellent performance. The Crist Brothers really don't have a dog in this fight and they gave Daniels and Kazarian all they could handle. Now, fans- we saw an ugly incident at our last pay-per-view when TIM DONST cracked CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI over the head with a beer bottle. Claudio remains out of action, but BRYAN DANIELSON has stepped up and challenged Donst to a No-Disqualification Grudge Match.



GRUDGE MATCH: NO DISQUALIFICATION
TIM DONST d. BRYAN DANIELSON******
More shenanigans from Donst and Troy Xavier! As the match began, Xavier began jawing at Danielson. Danielson turned his attention to Troy, and Donst attacked Danielson from behind with a cloth soaked in ether! Danielson blacked out, and Donst clamped the fallen Dragon into a series of submission holds. Donst put on a veritable wrestling clinic as Danielson lay unconscious. Finally, Donst locked Danielson into the CHIKARA Special. Troy slid into the ring and dramatically dropped Danielson's arm three times before allowing the referee to call for the bell.

After the decision, Donst leaped into the air in celebration! Donst went from one turnbuckle to the other, leaping onto the second rope and cheering himself on. The celebration was cut short with the arrival of DASHER HATFIELD, SUGAR DUNKERTON, & MARK ANGELOSETTI. The Throwbacks stared down Donst, who quickly slid out of the ring and met up with Xavier to depart rapidly from ringside.


Warlord: Yeah! How about the Throwbacks taking a stand! Sooner or later somebody needs to teach that son of a biscuit-eater Troy a lesson in good behavior. I can't believe what they just did to Bryan Danielson!

EpicDave: They say that fools rush in where wise men fear to tread, big man. Troy has proved to be a tactical genius, and Hatfield and company might find themselves on the wrong side of a beating if they mess with the Xavier Alliance.

Warlord: The Throwbacks have been around CHIKARA forever!

EpicDave: This is true- I am not surprised they were willing to step up in defense of this fine organization. But fans- we haven't seen the last of Troy- it's time for his men to defend the Campeonatos de Parejas!



MAIN EVENT: CHIKARA CAMPEONATOS DE PAREJAS
SCARLET & GRAVES (DEZMOND XAVIER & ZACHARY WENTZ) defeated WAR MACHINE by disqualification
CHIKARA Senior Referee BRYCE REMSBURG took charge of the Main Event, and immediately ejected Troy Xavier from ringside! Troy protested and refused to leave the ring area, as Rowe and Hanson defended their manager and physically prevented Bryce from clearing Troy out away from ringside. This brought THE THROWBACKS back to ringside! Dasher Hatfield carried a baseball bat and threatened the members of War Machine, while Dunkerton and Angelosetti physically picked up Troy and carried him back to the locker room!

Warlord: Way to go Throwbacks! Take out that trash, fellas!

Infuriated, War Machine climbed into the ring, but Scarlet and Graves were ready and waiting. Dez and Zachary came after War Machine with a flurry of dropkicks, and War Machine quickly bailed out of the ring. Remsburg tried to get the War Machine back into the match, but Hanson pie-faced Bryce, knocking him to the concrete! Bryce got up and immediately disqualified the War Machine for the infraction.



EpicDave: I suppose I am not surprised at the outcome of tonight's Main Event with War Machine getting themselves disqualified. Once Troy Xavier was taken away from ringside, the game plan fell apart for War Machine and they took the easy way out. Still, it was a good night for the Xavier Alliance, much to the dismay of the fine Heartland fans here in attendance tonight. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! We'll be back next Saturday night with another stellar night of CHIKARA action. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, THE CANADIAN NINJAS will try to regain their Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championships from the newly crown champions, NICOLE SAVOY & SHAYNA BASZLER. What a crazy night for Troy Xavier! He was all over the place from the set-up on Sweet n' Kimber (which I thoroughly enjoyed!) to assisting Tim Donst in a huge win over Bryan Danielson. Then he gets carried out by The Throwbacks but War Machine gain revenge taking down referee Bryce Remsburg! Xavier and his men are really stirring things up in the Heartland. Interesting to see The Irresistible Force back and I suspect that they may be after our gals, Shayna and Nicole, especially if they get by the Canadian Ninjas upcoming. Me and joebreakdown may have to work up a game plan here.

MSCHIF pinned KELLY KLEIN****
In a surprisingly one-sided match, MsChif dominated the action. Kelly caught a bad break in the opening moments when she missed a charge at the turnbuckle and smacked hard into the corner. MsChif took over and never let up, pinning Klein decisively after a pair of Desecrators.


EpicDave: How about that! MsChif seized the opportunity and never looked back. A talent like Kelly Klein doesn't give you too many openings, so you gotta take full advantage when the opportunity presents itself.

HALLOWICKED & FRIGHTMARE defeated 3.0 (SCOTT PARKER****** & SHANE MATTHEWS)
After several minutes of evenly matched action, Frightmare nailed Parker with a running double knee smash that put Parker into La-La Land. Matthews made the save after Hallowicked delivered a Graveyard Smash, but Parker never regained his senses as the masked men teamed up to deliver the Headless Horseman to pick up the victory.

EpicDave: That is three points for Hallowicked and Frightmare! They will be in line for a title shot against the winner of next week's Campeonatos de Parejas match. Warlord has done his homework- and some darn fine haiku as well.

ARIK CANNON* pinned MARK ANGELOSETTI
Mr. Touchdown and the Anarchist threw down in a fierce brawl and spent a lot of time pummeling each other outside the ring. The finish came when Cannon nailed Angelosetti with a Glimmering Warlock in the center of the ring. Before Mr. Touchdown could recover, Cannon delivered the Anarchist Hammer and made the cover for the three count.

Cannon and Angelosetti were both spent when WAR MACHINE & TROY XAVIER stalked to ringside. Hanson tried to pull Angelosetti out of the ring, but Cannon actually tried to protect Angelosetti from the attack. After a brief struggle, DASHER HATFIELD & SUGAR DUNKERTON hustled to ringside! Finding themselves outnumbered, Xavier made a business decision and led Hanson and Rowe back up the ring ramp without further incident.


EpicDave: Tensions are escalating for The Throwbacks ever since they stood up against the Xavier Alliance. Congratulations to Cannon for an important victory to keep himself in contention for a shot at the Grand Championship.

The scene shifts to the set of "Sweet Talk", where the mood is tense. Larry Sweeney paces the stage nervously as PINKIE SANCHEZ looks on. JESSIE MCKAY & KIMBER LEE both appear to be unhappy as they chat quietly on the sofa. The Generic Secondary Championship title belt sits on the podium.

Sweeney: Hello, Indianapolis. I'm Larry Sweeney and in spite of it all, it's still great to be me. As we saw last week, ADAM PEARCE got seriously messed up last week when that big dipstick BRODIE LEE hit him with a sneak attack. My man Pearce is on the shelf for a few months.

The mood gets worse as a Heartland referee enters the set, retrieves the Generic Secondary Championship belt, and moves offstage quietly.

Sweeney: We're gonna get that big dweeb. So- let's get on with tonight's "Sweet Talk". The King Of The Indies Tag Team Championship tournament is rolling in to the semifinals! We've already seen some great action. Props to BIG DADDY KANTER and TERRIFIC TODD JOHNSTON for promoting the first-round action. Let's check out the updated tournament bracket:

Sweeney: It's anybody's ball game now! In other action, congratulations to all the new champions around the indies who have been crowned over the past few weeks. Down in Texas, the New Age Independent Pro federation has two brand new titles! TESSA BLANCHARD is the new Rose of Texas Champion, and that seems fitting to me. They also created the Heart of Texas Championship, and STEVE O'RENO captured that belt. Plus, RICKY STARKS has won the Don't Mess With Texas No Limits Championship. That's about the best name for a championship I ever heard of that didn't come out of Texarkana.

Sweeney: Out in the Pacific Northwest, the Oregon Heavyweight Championship has been like a hot potato! MARTY SCURLL dropped the belt to SON OF HAVOC, and he turned around and got beat by ROCKY ROMERO. Congratulations toBRIAN CAGE,who is your new Washington Heavyweight Champion, and the Washington Tag Team Titles now belong to KID LYCOS & CHRIS BROOKES. The real hero in the PNW is PJ BLACK, who managed two successful defenses of the British Columbia Championship. The action in the Pacific Northwest is second to none!

Sweeney: We had a couple of tag team championships change hands, too. THE DOOM PATROL beat ROPPONGI VICE to become the new Evolve Tag Team Champions, and the Queens of Combat Tag Team Championship now belongs to a couple of badass mamas in MELANIE CRUISE & VANESSA KRAVEN. Those two ladies are fearsome!

Sweeney: Finally- I want to take a moment to call out the Punk Retard Losers of the week. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS & FRANKIE KAZARIAN have given new meaning to the word "Cowards". These two jerkwads went to Atlanta, where they got beat by JIMMY RAVE & DONOVAN DIJAK- but then Daniels and Kazarian turned around and stuck their noses into the AWE Heavyweight Championship match and cost SAMI CALLIHAN the title. Shame on you, MARTY SCURLL, for associating with those asshats. You may be the new AWE Champion, but you are nothing but trash in my book.

Sweeney: If that wasn't enough, Daniels and Kazarian went to Vegas and stirred up even more trouble. Of course, they HAD to go to Vegas, because THE YOUNG BUCKS were afraid to face the wrath of TRACY SMOTHERS. So Daniels and Kazarian went to Vegas, got beaten down by Smothers, then showed up again to interfere in the Main Event and perpetrate a six-on-one beatdown of DJ HYDE. Daniels- Kazarian- you are the two biggest pieces of crap on God's green earth.

Sweeney drops the mic and walks off the set to the cheers of the fans.


EpicDave: Wow! That was one serious verbal beatdown issued by Larry Sweeney. He is clearly in no mood to put up with any more nonsense from the Xavier Alliance, or from the Ring of Cowards.

Beretta and Romero have been on a roll, and they dominated the Bucks from start to finish. Beretta looked to finish off Nick with a Deathjump, but Matt pushed Beretta off the top rope and down to the canvas. With a handful of trunks, Nick rolled up Beretta and the Bucks stole the win!

THE TRIBE (NAVAJO WARRIOR & HAWAIIAN LION) defeated THE AMERICAN WOLVES (EDDIE EDWARDS**** & DAVEY RICHARDS)
It was a trip to the woodshed for Eddie Edwards tonight, as the Tribe whooped Eddie from pillar to post. Richards tried to save his partner, but a Lariat from Lion sent Davey tumbling out of the ring. Eddie was in bad shape after a double-team Reservation Devastation, and THE YOUNG BUCKS returned to ringside to come to the rescue! The rescue mission was short-lived as DELIRIOUS & COLT CABANA dashed down the aisle. The Bucks escaped through the crowd, and Warrior delivered a Monument Valley Driver to Edwards for a clean pinfall victory.


EpicDave: Sweet revenge for the Tribe!

EpicDave: Well spoken once again, Warlord! The Tribe have given the Wolves a nasty beating tonight, and at least for the moment they have the satisfaction of victory. The Tribe win the battle tonight, but the war rages on. And now, fans- it's time for the Main Event!



MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
THE CANADIAN NINJAS (NICOLE MATTHEWS & PORTIA PEREZ* w/TROY XAVIER) defeated SHAYNA BASZLER & NICOLE SAVOY* (c)
It was a back-and-forth battle between the powerful MMA ladies and the devious Ninjas. Portia took a pounding from Shayna, but Nicole stepped in to double-team Baszler and dump her out of the ring. Portia did as much damage as she could on the arena floor, risking a countout but hitting Shayna with a vicious dropkick to the knee. Troy Xavier tried to interject himself, but CRUEFAN & JOEBREAKDOWN inserted themselves and forced Troy to back down. Shayna was hurting but managed to tag out to Savoy. Savoy squared up with Portia, but Matthews caught Savoy from behind with a chop block and both MMA ladies were down! Operating like clockwork, the Ninjas executed the Funky Cold Medina on Savoy and Portia covered her for the three count!


THE CANADIAN NINJAS REGAIN THE HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP


EpicDave: Wow! The Canadian Ninjas have captured the Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship for a record third time! It was a great show of teamwork by Portia and Nicole tonight and they proved why they are one of the top teams in the business. Congratulations to The Canadian Ninjas for a brilliant victory!
