Benoit used to be one of my favorite wrestlers and I have gotten to the point just recently where I can watch some of his better matches again. Am I condoning what he did? Not at all. But I'm not letting that ruin my enjoyment of matches that I've always loved that happened before he did anything.
It's a sticky situation when role-models do stuff like this. Everyone handles it differently. Sad truth is that everyone is human and makes mistakes (big or small) and sometimes they are people we look up to or talents we enjoy. Again, in those cases everyone needs to decide for themselves what to do.
