If we didn't use any Legends / LOTF who had any legal / drug issues, this game would be pretty boring.

I'm not worried about those who hurt themselves...that's their business.
I'm worried about guys who are murderers (Chris Benoit, Invader I) being in the game. That's what I don't want to see.

It doesn't matter to me at all. The Backseat Boyz actually won the Underground Tag Team Titles for the first time ever on today's show. I am going to strip them of the belts and suspend Acid for 30 days. Not because I care, mostly just because I like the tension it'll create and I want to run a tag team tournament on Memorial Day to crown new champions.

That is the funny thing about wrestling. It lies somewhere between “regular” sports and acting. I quit becoming a fan of the original LT when all his drug problems came to light (especially allegedly playing hyped up on cocaine). The same thing with Matt Jones. However, just because Bob Denver is a pot head doesn’t mean I no longer like the Gilligan character. And just because O.J. “allegedly” killed two people doesn’t mean I will no longer watch the Naked Gun movies.
I find nothing wrong with using the Trent Acid “character”. If Trent Acid “the man” was in my locker room, I may have a problem with that. And when someone says that don’t have a problem with someone who “just hurts themselves” has never been to an accident when someone high kills two kids, or consoled a family member of someone who over dosed, or has seen what happens on our streets because of drug wars.
