Triple Crown Wrestling Saturday Morning Showdown - episode 38: Adrian Street vs. Johnny Rodz: Street was extra aggressive in his return to TCW. Street scored a near fall with the fireman's carry throat drop and quickly locked on the Cobra Clutch for the quick win. A video package aired showing highlights from recent matches featuring the Briscoe Brothers and Team FIST. It was announced that the two teams would meet for the first time on Figure Four Friday. The Colony vs. The Young Bucks: The Bucks wore down Green Ant for the first few minutes of the match, keeping him in their half of the ring. Green Ant made a comeback and hit the wrist clutch suplex for a near fall. Green Ant locked on the Clover Leaf but Matt Jackson made it to the ropes. Green Ant tagged in Solder Ant. Soldier Ant hit a pair of TKO's for the win. Footage of Eddie Edwards vs. the Masked Superstar was shown. It was announced that on Figure Four Friday, Davey Richards will take on Masked Superstar II. Can the American Wolves get some momentum going for their first ever shot at the TCW Tag Team titles in two weeks? Roderick Strong vs. Jimmy Jacobs: Jacobs took the fight to Strong and hit a crossbody from the top for a near fall. Jacobs locked on the End Time but Strong made it to the ropes. Jacobs locked on the End Time a second time for the win. Footage was shown of TCW champ Strangler Lewis & John Pesek vs. Bryan Danielson & Tyler Black. It was announced that this week John Pesek will lock up with Tyler Black. It was also announced that Strangler Lewis has signed a contract to face Bryan Danielson in two weeks for the TCW Heavyweight title, although the condition of Danielson's injured arm is currently unknown. Rob Van Dam vs. Brent Albright: Albright frustrated Van Dam with his power advantage early on. RVD surprised Albright with a small package for a near fall. TCW continues to roll out with fire Gun, interesting to see McGuinness over Strong on episode 37 and very cool to see the Superstars continue on as champions...

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 38: The Briscoe Brothers vs. Team FIST: Jay Briscoe and Gran Akuma started the match. Jay scored a near fall with the release spinebuster and the Briscoes quickly hit the Doomsday Device but Icarus made the save. Akuma made a comeback and hit the tombstone facebuster on Mark for a near fall. Akuma tagged in Icarus and Icarus scored near falls on Mark with the Wings of Icarus and the Pedigree. Mark made the hot tag to Jay and Jay hit the hard back elbow for a near fall. The Briscoes hit the Spike Jay Driller on Icarus for a near fall and then nailed the Doomsday Device for the win.
Don Leo Jonathan vs. One Man Gang: DLJ dominated One Man Gang, using his agility to frustrated the behemoth. The two giants spilled out of the ring and One Man Gang blasted DLJ with a chair, earning the DQ.
Pepper Gomez vs. Nigel McGuinness: Nigel started strong, wearing Gomez down with the Cobra Clutch and scoring a near fall with the Jawbreaker Lariat. Gomez made a comeback and scored near falls with the criss cross smash and a dropkick. Nigel rolled up Gomez after a missed turnbuckle charge and turned the momentum in his favor. Nigel hit the corner to corner forearm shot for a near fall and clamped on the London Dungeon for the win.
Harley Race vs. Austin Aries: Aries tried to attack Race before the bell but it backfired. Race gave Aries a neckbreaker and hit the piledriver for the win.
Davey Richards vs. Masked Superstar II: Superstar II mocked Richards at the opening bell because of his size and pie-faced him. Richards tore into Superstar like a buzz saw and locked him in a vicious armlock. Superstar made it to the ropes but Richards blasted him with some vicious kicks and hoisted him up for a brainbuster for a near fall. Superstar was shaken and Richards nailed a tombstone piledriver for another near fall. Richards signaled for the DR Driver and nailed it but Superstar got his foot on the ropes. Richards went to the top rope and hit the shooting star press for the win.
Tyler Black vs. John Pesek: Pesek went after Black like a shark, repeatedly eye gouging him and going after his arm, even more relentless than usual. Pesek locked on the body triangle and crossface, drawing blood from Black's noe. Pesek locked on the double wristlock, holding it until the four count when Black got to the ropes. Pesek locked on the lateral press keylock and did the same thing. Pesek seemed more intent on injuring Black than winning the match. Pesek continued his assault, locking on the Tiger Man Toehold twice, both times refusing to break the hold until the last second. Pesek locked on teh double wristlock again but Black refused to give up. Pesek locked on the Tiger Man Toehold a third time but Black escaped. Black rolled out of the ring and Pesek followed. Pesek wrapped Black's arm around the ringpost and slammed it with a steel chair, earning the DQ. Pesek laughed as security escorted him from ringside and Tyler Black had to be helped to the back by the referee.

Triple Crown Wrestling Saturday Morning Showdown - episode 39: The show opened with the announcement that Tyler Black would be out for six weeks due to John Pesek's attack and Pesek himself has been suspended for three weeks. Fritz Von Goering vs. Johnny Rodz: The debuting Von Goering took Rodz lightly and it nearly cost him. Rodz threw Goering out of the ring and bodyslammed him on the concrete. Von Goering managed to roll back into the ring, just in time to be hit by a top rope elbow from Rodz. Von Goering barely kicked out and Rodz scooped him up and hit the Unpredictable Slam! Von Goering managed to get his foot on the ropes. Rodz was arguing with the referee when Von Goering recovered and threw him out of the ring. Von Goering hit a brutal backbreaker on the concrete and Rodz was counted out. It was announced that two rematches from episode 37 have been signed for Figure Four Friday. Rob Van Dam will be locking up with Austin Aries once again and Harley Race will get a second match with Brent Albright. The Miracle Violence Connection vs. Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill: Doring and Roadkill tried to isolate Dr. Death and wear him down. Roadkill hit the Barn Burner for a near fall and tagged in Doring. Doring scored a near fall with the Danaconda and hit the Panty Drop Elbow. Terry Gordy made the save and Williams launched a comeback. Williams tagged in Gordy and Gordy hit a brutal Bamm Bamm Slam. Roadkill was barely able to make the save. Williams grabbed Roadkill and hit a Backdrop Driver while Gordy hit a powerbomb on Doring for the win. Footage of the singles matches between the Masked Superstars and the American Wolves were shown. It was announced that on Figure Four Friday, The Masked Superstars will defend the TCW Tag Team gold against The American Wolves! Jimmy Jacobs vs. Pepper Gomez: Gomez and Jacobs wrestled a short, fast-paced match. The end came when Gomez reversed a satellite head scissors, took Jacobs down, and hit the Mexican Cradle for the quick win. It was announced that the main event for Figure Four Friday will be Strangler Lewis vs. Bryan Danielson in a Texas Death Match. The announcers reminded the audience that in their last three meetings, Bryan Danielson has walked away the winner. Nigel McGuinness vs. One Man Gang: Gang and McGuinness battled back and forth, at one point knocking each other senseless with a double lariat. Nigel recovered first and threw Gang out of the ring. Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 39: Team FIST vs. the Osirian Portal: Akuma and Ophidian started the match. Akuma scored a near fall with the Falcon Arrow on Ophidian and followed it up with a Yoshi Tonic. Ophidian kicked out and tried to make a comeback but Akuma hit a second Yoshi Tonic for a near fall. Ophidian managed to tag out to Amasis and Akuma tagged in Icarus. Amasis scored a near fall with the mule kick but Icarus came back and scored a near fall of his own with a crossbody. The Portal hit the heel kick/body block combo for a near fall but it wasn't enough. Icarus hit a pedigree on Ophidian and Amasis was barely able to make the save. Icarus tagged in Akuma and Akuma hit another Yoshi Tonic but Ophidian kicked out. Ophidian madea a comeback and locked on the Cobra Death Grip! Akuma was fading fast but managed to get to the ropes. The exhausted Ophidian couldn't follow it up and Akuma hit a fourth Yoshi Tonic for the win.
Roderick Strong vs. Adrian Street: Strong delivered a dominant performance, softening up street with the half nelson backbreaker and hitting the blue thunder backbreaker for a near fall. Strong nailed Street with a pair of Yakuza kicks but Miss Linda distracted the referee. Strong hit a third blue thunder backbreaker and Street was clearly favoring his back. Strong locked Street in the Stronghold but the referee was out of position. Street begged off and Strong hit the powerbomb backbreaker for a near fall but Street got his foot on the ropes. Strong dragged Street into the center of the ring and locked on the Stronghold for the win.
Rikidozan vs. Don Leo Jonathan: The father of Puroresu and the Mormon Giant battled back and forth. DLJ threw Rikidozan all over the ring but Rikidozan was biding his time. Rikidozan dodged a turnbuckle charge and unloaded on the Mormon Giant. Rikidozan scored near falls with the overhead chop and the boston crab. DLJ got to his feet and Rikidozan blasted him with Thunderous Chops for the win.
Rob Van Dam vs. Austin Aries: Aries started strong but was frustrated by the skill of Van Dam. RVD hit the Five Star Frog Splash for a near fall and followed it up with a split legged moonsault. Aries kicked out and made a comeback, dropping Van Dam on his neck with a brainbuster for a near fall. Aries threw Van Dam out of the ring and Van Dam blasted him with a Van Daminator. Aries couldn't beat the count and was counted out.
Harley Race vs. Brent Albright: Race and Albright fought a hard-hitting match. After exchanging suplexes, Race hit a neckbreaker and followed it up with a piledriver for the win.
The Masked Superstars vs. The American Wolves - TCW Tag Team Title Match!: Davey Richards and Masked Superstar started the match. Richards hit a saito suplex for a near fall and tagged in Eddie Edwards. Edwards went to the top and Superstar threw him to the mat. Superstar threw Edwards to the floor and Edwards made a comeback. Edwards made a comeback and clamped on the Achilles Lock for a near fall. Superstar made a quick comeback and tagged in Masked Superstar II. Edwards managed to tag in Davey Richards. II hit a double arm suplex on Richards for a near fall and threw Richards out to the floor. II powerslammed Richards on the concrete but Richards beat the count back into the ring. Richards made a comeback and hit a DR Driver for a near fall. Richards tagged in Edwards and Edwards hit a shin breaker for a near fall. Edwards threw II out to the floor and hit a brutal tope against the guardrail. II was almost counted out but the Wolves manhandled him back into the ring. Richards hit a brainbuster for a near fall and followed it with a powerbomb on the knees for another near fall. II managed to tag in the Masked Superstar. Superstar whipped Richards to the ropes and Richards rolled him up with a small package. Richards hit a DR Driver but Masked Superstar II was able to make the save. Edwards locked II into an Achilles Lock and Davey Richards hit another DR River on Superstar for the win. The American Wolves are the new TCW Tag Team champions!
Strangler Lewis vs. Bryan Danielson - TCW Heavyweight title match: Lewis went after Danielson's neck like a shark, locking on the Strangler's Headlock twice. Danielson battled back and nailed a Yakuza Kick for a near fall. Lewis kicked out and Danielson blasted him with MMA blows. Danielson clamped on the Cattle Mutilation but Lewis managed to get to the ropes. Leiws battled back and locked on the Strangler's headlock again but it wasn't enough. Danielson hit a second Yakuza Kick for a near fall. Lewis battled back and locked on the bear hug with leg trip for a near fall. Lewis locked on the Strangler's Headlock for the win.

Great show there, love seeing the American Wolves capture the tag team titles. Danielson-Lewis sounded like a great match as well along with a strong undercard.

I was really glad the Wolves didn't get squashed. Danielson-Lewis has been a good match for me all four times I've rolled it. Lewis always seems to struggle with Danielson's agility and better chart ratings.

Triple Crown Wrestling Saturday Morning Showdown - episode 40: The show opened with the announcement that Harley Race is the #1 contender for the TCW Heavyweight title! Harley Race vs. Johnny Rodz: Race mauled Rodz, scoring a near fall with a vertical suplex before hitting the Piledriver for the win. It was announced that in three weeks, the American Wolves will defend the TCW Tag Team titles against former champions the Masked Superstars. This week on Figure Four Friday, Eddie Edwards will be meeting Masked Superstar II in singles action. The Miracle Violence Connection vs. The Bolsheviks: Gordy and Williams isolated Zhukov and wore him down. Gordy got the quick win with the Oriental Spike. Two matches pitting wily veterans against spirited newcomers will be held on Figure Four Friday. Austin Aries will take on Rikidozan while Roderick Strong will lock up with Rob Van Dam. The Midnight Express vs. Danny Doring & Roadkill: After a rocky start, the Midnight Express dismantled Doring and Roadkill. Doring was nearly pinned after a Flapjack and tagged in Roadkill. Lane and Eaton took Roadkill apart, wearing him down with two double goozles, a flapjack, and a side sweep before getting the win via a Superkick. In breaking news, TCW Heavyweight champion Strangler Lewis has challenged Harley Race's former tag team partner, Bob Roop, to a match this week on Figure Four Friday. Lewis said he will make an example out of Roop! Bryan Danielson vs. Fritz Von Goering: Von Goering frustrated Danielson early on with his strength advantage but Danielson fouhgt back and wore Von Goering down with a Yakuza Kick, a missile dropkick, a suicide dive, and brutal MMA strikes. Von Goering looked as if he would tap but got his foot under the bottom rope. Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 40: The Briscoe Brothers vs. The Love Brothers: The Love Brothers controlled the opening minutes of the match. Hartford hit a piledriver on Jay for a near fall. Jay battled back and tagged in Mark. Mark hit the sommersault plancha for a near fall and threw Hartford out to the floor. The Briscoes double teamed Hartford and he was nearly counted out. The Briscoes hit the Spike Jay Driller for the win.
Brent Albright vs. Steve Corino: Albright and Corino fought a hardhitting match. Corino scored a near fall with the powerslam but Albright battled back and dumped Corino on his head with a half nelson suplex. The fight went out to the floor and Corino regained control. Corino scored the win with a pair of Old School Expulsions.
Eddie Edwards vs. Masked Superstar II: Edwards fought hard but Superstar's size and strength advantage was too much for him. II scored a near fall with the falling elbow hammer and got the win with a Backbreaker.
Rikidozan vs. Austin Aries: Rikidozan dominated Aries, busting him open with an overhead chop and nearly knocking him out with a forearm hammer. The dizzy Aries was easy prey for the Thunderous Chops for the one-sided win.
Rob Van Dam vs. Roderick Strong: Van Dam outclassed Strong for the first few minutes of the match, busting him open with the Van Daminator and hitting the Five Star Frog Splash for a near fall. Van Dam went to the top a second time but spent too much time showboating. Strong moved out of the way of the Five Star Frog Splash and took over. After a powerbomb backbreaker, Strong hit a Yakuza Kick for the upset win!
Strangler Lewis vs. Bob Roop - TCW Heavyweight title match: Lewis attacked Roop at the opening bell and quickly took him to the mat. Lewis locked on the Strangler's Headlock twice, wrenching Roop's neck. The two men tumbled out to the floor and Lewis body slammed Roop on the floor. Roop made it to his feet but got distracted by John Pesek, who was sitting in the front row. Roop was counted out. As soon as the bell rang, Pesek attacked Roop and was quickly joined by Lewis. Lewis and Pesek double teamed Roop until Harley Race made the save. The show went off the air with the two teams staring each other down in the ring.
