Good stuff with the Crusher helping Dundee, several good events and Gordy calling out Andre which will be interesting... The Crusher & Dundee seemed like they were ready to step up against the Hellfire Club. I'm just hoping Andre vs. Gordy isn't a squash.

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 79: Sabu & RVD vs. The Briscoe Brothers: RVD and Jay started the match. RVD hit a big Five Star Frog Splash in the opening minutes and Mark was barely able to make the save. The Briscoes took control and proceeded to take Van Dam apart, hitting a Spike Jay Driller and four! Doomsday Devices but RVD kept kicking out. Jay hit a death valley driver but Sabu was able to make the save and place RVD on top of Jay for a near fall. RVD made the hot tag to Sabu. Sabu tore into the Briscoes and locked the camel clutch on Mark but he managed to get to the ropes. Sabu hit a brutal Arabian Facebuster and clamped on the Camel Clutch a second time for the win. After the match, Bill Alphonso challenged the winners of next week's tag team title match to give RVD & Sabu a shot at the belts. Davey Richards vs. Larry Sharpe: Richards drilled Sharpe with a brainbuster and hit the shooting star press for the win. Jerry Lynn vs. Austin Aries: Lynn and Aries put on a five star match. Lynn scored near falls in the opening minutes with a twisting legdrop on the apron and a sunset flip powerbomb. Aries battled back and DDTed Lynn on the concrete, nearly getting him counted out. Aries continued his assault and hit a big brainbuster. Aries clamped on the Last Chancery but Lynn made it to the ropes. Lynn battled back and scored a near fall with the German Suplex but Aries quickly turned things back around and hit another brainbuster. Aries whipped Lynn into the ropes but the new F'N show kicked Aries in the head and nailed him with a cradle piledriver for the win. Lou Thesz vs. Super Crazy: Crazy had a few sparks but the match was mostly Thesz. Thesz wore Crazy down with dropkicks and a double wristlock before hitting the Thesz Press for the win. Terry Gordy vs. King Kong Bundy - TCW Heavyweight title match: Heenan's plan to have Bundy soften up the Heavyweight champ backfired. Gordy knocked Bundy senseless with a lariat and put him away with a piledriver to retain the gold. After the match, Gordy knocked Bundy outside the ring and powerbombed him on the announce table. Gordy grabbed the mic and told everyone he was going to powerbomb Andre the Giant next week in Japan. The Crusher & Bill Dundee vs. Kevin Sullivan & Eddie Gilbert: The Crusher and Bill Dundee made use of frequent tags and isolated Eddie Gilbert. After less than five minutes, Gilbert and Dundee ended up outside the ring and the referee quickly lost control. The referee awarded the match to The Crusher & Bill Dundee after Gilbert threw a fireball in Dundee's face. As the credits rolled, the four men were battling in the ring when Bruiser Brody came out of the crowd. As the show was fading to black, Brody hit the Jumping Knee Drop on Bill Dundee! Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 80 - Live from Japan!: Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Briscoes: London and Mark started the match. London and Kendrick used double team tactics to wear Mark down. Kendrick hit Sliced Bread #2 for a near fall. Mark made a desperation tag to Jay and the Briscoes quickly took the match to the outside. Jay was disqualified for smashing Kendrick into the guardrail. Davey Richards vs. Bryan Danielson: Richards and Danielson ignited the crowd with their hard hitting strikes in the opening minutes. Richards took Danielson down and locked on a vicious armlock but Danielson managed to make it to the ropes. Danielson favored his arm but managed to make a comeback, scoring a near fall with the diving headbutt. Danielson locked on the Cattle Mutilation but Richards made it to the ropes. Danielson dragged Richards to the center of the ring and locked on the Cattle Mutilation a second time for the win. William Muldoon vs. Tiger Mask: Tiger Mask started strong but Muldoon showed why he is the solid man. Muldoon hit a suplex for a near fall and absorbed tremendous punishment from Tiger Mask. Muldoon managed a comeback and suplexed Tiger Mask a second time for the win. Austin Aries vs. Jushin Liger: Aries fought hard but couldn't keep any momentum going against Liger. Liger hit a top rope huracanrana for a near fall and locked on the hanging surfboard. Aries was in agony but managed to wriggle free. Liger hit two Liger Bombs for the win. Lou Thesz vs. Rikidozan: Rikidozan attacked Thesz before the bell and busted him open with overhand chops. Rikidozan pelted Thesz with Thunderous Chops and nearly pinned him but Thesz got his foot on the ropes. Rikidozan hiplocked the wounded Thesz for the pin. The Sheepherders vs. Antonio Inoki & Giant Baba - TCW Tag Team title match!: Baba and Butch started the match. Baba threw the Kiwi all over the ring and scored nera falls with the Baba chop and the back suplex and tagged in Antonio Inoki. The Sheepherders took control on the outside and knocked Inoki senseless with the running knee strike, almost getting the win but Baba was able to make the save. The Sheepherders hit the battering ram and again Baba was forced to make the save. Inoki rallied and locked on the Cobra Twist on Butch, forcing Luke to make the save. Inoki went to the top and hit a crossbody but Luke dragged the referee out of the ring. Inoki blasted Luke with an Enzuigiri and clamped the Octopus Hold on Butch for the win. Inoki & Baba are the TCW Tag Team champions! Terry Gordy vs. Andre the Giant - TCW Heavyweight title match!: Gordy and Andre stared one another down at the start of the match. Gordy promptly threw Andre to the outside to the delight of the crowd. Andre stared at Gordy and returned to the ring. Andre and Gordy jockeyed for position but neither man could get a good advantage. Andre threw Gordy out of the ring and waited for him. Gordy smirked and charged back into the ring. Gordy locked on the Sleeper but couldn't get the Giant off of his feet. Andre took control and hit the Big Splash but Gordy kicked out. Andre threw Bamm Bamm out of the ring and Gordy grabbed his ankle and dragged him out. Gordy whipped Andre into the ringpost, busting him open. The referee disqualified Gordy to a chorus of boos from the normally subdued Japanese crowd. Gordy and Andre brawled into the crowd as the show went off the air. next week: - The Crusher vs. Kevin Sullivan

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 81: Steve Williams & Jim Duggan vs. Ted DiBiase & Bob Roop: DiBiase and Roop worked on Duggan but couldn't keep the bruiser down. Duggan made a comeback and threw DiBiase to the floor. Duggan and DiBiase brawled on the floor until DiBiase hit Duggan with the ring bell, drawing the DQ. Bruiser Brody vs. Mr. X: Brody threw X all over the ring area before getting the win via the Jumping Knee Drop. Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries: Aries came into this match with something to prove and went after Richards like a shark. Aries DDTed Richards on the concrete and almost got a count out victory. Richards made his way back into the ring and Aries dumped him on his head with three brainbusters. Richards was nearly out on his feet. Aries hit the frog splash for a near fall. Richards rallied and made a comeback, dumping Aries on his head with a Saito supex for a near fall. Richrds hit the Northern Lights suplex but Aries got his foot on the ropes. Richards hit another brainbuster for a near fall but Aries managed to kick out. Richards nailed Aries with a Saito suplex but Aries got his foot under the bottom rope. The match spilled outside the ring and Aries made a comeback, busting open Richards with a steel chair. Aries threw Richards back into the ring and locked on the Last Chancery for the win. The Crusher vs. Kevin Sullivan: The Crusher and Sullivan brawled all over the ring area. The Crusher blasted Sullivan with the Crusher Bolo and would have gotten the pinfall if Brody hadn't come from the crowd and pulled the referee out of the ring. Sullivan took control and hit the double foot stomp three times but couldn't put the Crusher away. The Crusher bounced back and hit the Crusher Bolo for the win. After the match, Brody returned to the ring to attack The Crusher but Bill Dundee arrived at ringside to even the odds. Security eventually arrived and escorted the four men to the back. Lou Thesz vs. Rikidozan: Rikidozan hit the slap to the chest at the opening bell, nearly surprising Thesz with a near fall. Thesz and Rikidozan battled back and forth for several minutes and the match spilled out of the ring. Rikidozan was disqualified for smashing Thesz into the guardrail. Antonio Inoki vs. Rob Van Dam: Inoki and Van Dam battled back and forth. Inoki controlled most of the match but it seemed as if he couldn't hurt Van Dam. Inoki scored near falls with a top rope knee drop and four Enzuigiris but RVD kept fighting back. Inoki got the win with an Octopus Hold. next week: - Bill Dundee vs. Bruiser Brody

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 82: Steve Williams & Jim Duggan vs. Ivan Koloff & the Iron Sheik: Koloff and Duggan started off. Duggan and Koloff battled all over the ring area. Duggan showed remarkable toughness but couldn't muster any offense against the Russian Bear. Frustrated with his inability to do any noticeable damage to Duggan, Koloff grabbed the Russian chain from ringside and busted Duggan open with it, earning the DQ. Bobby Heenan announced that King Kong Bundy was injured by Terry Gordy a couple weeks ago and would be taking some time off to recover. His replacement will be revealed next week. The Crusher vs. Larry Sharpe: The Crusher knocked Sharpe out with two Crusher Bolos and hooked the le for the quick victory. Davey Richards vs. Jerry Lynn: Lynn and Richards wrestled a fast paced match, battling back and forth. Richards drilled Lynn with a brainbuster for a near fall. Lynn mad a comeback and hit the Cradle Piledriver but Richards got his foot on the ropes. Lynn hit the sunset flip powerbomb for the win. Bill Dundee vs. Bruiser Brody: Brody destroyed Dundee. Brody scored a near fall with the one handed bodyslam and go the win with the running leg drop. Inoki & Baba vs. RVD & Sabu - TCW Tag Team title match!: Inoki and Sabu started the match. Inoki blasted Sabu with two Enzuigiris and tagged in Baba. Baba and Sabu spilled out of the ring. Sabu was about to smash Baba with a chair and Baba snatched the chair away and bloodied Sabu with it, earning the DQ. Terry Gordy vs. Andre the Giant - TCW Heavyweight title match: Gordy and Andre bulled one another all over the ring area. Gordy wisely made use of his agility and tried to stay out of Andre's way. The two men exchanged strong strikes but Gordy retreated from the ring whenever things looked dangerous. Andre got some momentum going and wore Gordy down with two sitdown splashes. Andre mauled Gordy with the turnbuckle squash but Gordy got his foot on the ropes. Andre threw Bamm Bamm to the floor and Gordy made a big comeback, hitting Andre with a bridging back suplex for a near fall. Andre regained control and hit the Big Splash for the win. Andre the Giant is the new TCW Heavyweight champion! next week: - Bryan Danielson vs. Austin Aries

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 83: Steve Williams & Jim Duggan vs. The Briscoes: Duggan and Jay started the match. Duggan got the win with a crossbody from the top. Masked Superstar (with Masked Superstar II & Bobby Heenan) vs. Mr. X: Superstar dominated X, quickly winning with the Spinning Neckbreaker. Bryan Danielson vs. Austin Aries: The two up and comers wrestled all over the ring area. Danielson pelted Aries with stiff strikes but couldn't keep any momentum going. Aries wore Danielson down with two Last Chanceries, a brainbuster, and a third Last Chancery before getting the win via the 450 Splash. Bobby Heenan and Andre the Giant entered the ring. Heenan said that no one was brave enough to be the Giant's first challenger and dared anyone in the arena to come down for a title shot. The first few bars of Enter Sandman played and the crowd erupted. Andre the Giant vs. The Sandman - TCW Heavyweight title match: Andre mauled the Sandman, scoring a near fall with a body slam and hitting the Big Splash for the win. Davey Richards vs. Bruiser Brody: Brody taunted Richards throughout the match and belted him with hard strikes. Richards mounted a comeback and scored near falls with two DR Drivers. Brody was stunned and Richards hit a brainbuster for a near fall. Brody and Richards battled back and forth and Richards slipped out of a one handed bodyslam and drilled Brody with a second Brainbuster for the win. Antonino Inoki & Giant Baba vs. RVD & Sabu: Inoki and Sabu started the match. Sabu hit two Arabian Facebusters on Inoki, busting him open. Inoki made a comeback and tagged in Baba. Sabu quickly turned the match around and locked the Camel Clutch on Baba but Inoki made the save. Sabu tagged in RVD and RVD scored near falls on Giant Baba with a crossbody and three Van Daminators. RVD tagged Sabu back in and Sabu locked on the Camel Clutch but Inoki made the save. Sabu tagged in RVD and Van Dam hit the Five Star Frog Splash for the win. Sabu & RVD are the TCW Tag Team champions! Lou Thesz vs. Rikidozan: Thesz tore Rikidozan apart, scoring two near falls early on with two Greco-Roman Backdrops. Thesz hit the Thesz Press for a near fall and followed it up with a second Thesz Press for the win. next week: - Bryan Danielson vs. Val Venis
