Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 67: The show opened with the announcement that in two weeks, Harley Race and Terry Gordy would lock up one last time for the TCW Heavyweight title inside of a 15 foot high steel cage! D'Lo Brown & Al Snow vs. Ted DiBiase & Bob Roop: DiBiase & Brown started the match. DiBiase rocked Brown with two shots with the loaded glove and tagged in Roop. Brown made a comeback and tagged in Al Snow. Roop tore Snow apart, scoring near falls with a gutwrench backbreaker, a suplex, and a piledriver. Roop got the win via a Shoulderbreaker. Jerry Lynn vs. Mr. X: Lynn made short work of X, quickly getting the win with a German Suplex. William Muldoon vs. Larry Zbyszko: Zbyszko attacked Muldoon like a shark and clamped on the Larryland Sleeper early on. Muldoon tried to mount a comeback but Zbyszko dropped him with the Piledriver for a near fall. Zbyszko clamped on the Abdominal Stretch but Muldoon made it to the ropes. Zbyszko nailed Muldoon with a second Piledriver for the win. Davey Richards vs. The Iron Sheik: Richards and the Sheik battled back and forth. Richards unloaded on the Sheik but couldn't keep the Iranian down. The Iron Sheik made a comeback and got the submission victory via the Camel Clutch. The American Wolves now have no momentum going into next week's rematch for the TCW Tag Team titles. Nigel McGuinness vs. Mr. Fuji: Fuji attacked McGuinness before the bell and never let up. Fuji wore McGuinness down with the Fuji nerve grip before getting the victory via the Kamakaze Clothesline. Antonio Inoki & Giant Baba vs. King Kong Bundy & Andre the Giant: Inoki and Baba kept Bundy in their half of the ring and wore him down. Baba clamped on the bear hug, wearing Bundy down. He tagged in Inoki, who blasted Bundy with the Enzuigiri for a near fall. Inoki clamped on the Octopus Hold but Andre the Giant made the save. Inoki tagged in Baba. Baba hit the Piledriver. Andre came into the ring but Inoki blasted him with an Enzuigiri as the referee made a three count. next week: - Inoki & Rikidozan vs. Masked Superstar II & King Kong Bundy

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 68: Inoki & Rikidozan vs. Masked Superstar II & Bundy: Inoki and Superstar started the match. Superstar hit the falling elbow drop for a near fall. Inoki rallied and locked on the Octopus Hold but Superstar got to the ropes. Inoki tagged in Rikidozan and Rikidozan hit the Hiplock for a near fall. Superstar II overpowered Rikidozan and hit the throat drop before tagging in Bundy. Rikidozan quickly took control and scoop slammed Bundy but MSII made the save. Rikidozan hit Bundy and Superstar with a Noggin Knocker and followed it up with another Hiplock on Bundy. Rikidozan nailed Bundy with the forearm hammer, knocking him unconscious. The referee stopped the match and awarded it to Inoki & Rikidozan. After the match, Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan entered the ring and attacked Rikidozan and Inoki. Masked Superstar II recovered and joined in the attack until Giant Baba came down to ringside, scattering the heels. Bryan Danielson vs. Mr. X: Danielson flattened X with an enzuigiri and clamped on the Cattle Mutilation for the win. Super Crazy vs. Nigel McGuinness: Crazy took control early and hit the tilt a whirl backbreaker for a near fall. Crazy whipped Nigel to the rope s and Nigel nearly decapitated Crazy with the Jawbreaker Lariat. Nigel clamped on the London Dungeon for the win. Jerry Lynn vs. Larry Zbyszko: Zbyszko and Lynn battled back and forth. Zbyszko hit a piledriver for a near fall but it wasn't enough to keep Lynn down. Zbyszko threw Lynn out to the floor and Jerry took control. Lynn hit the sunset flip powerbomb and Zbyszko was nearly counted out. Lynn worked on Zbyszko but couldn't put him away. Zbyszko made a comeback and got the win with a spinning back kick. Magnum TA vs. The One Man Gang: The match started and there was no sign of Magnum's partner. Magnum hit Gang with a pair of Belly to Belly suplexes but couldn't keep the big man down. Magnum hit a third Belly to Belly and Kevin Sullivan rushed down the aisle to break the pin but a fan threw a fireball in his face, allowing Magnum to get the pin. The fan took off his hat, revealing himself to be Eddie Gilbert. Gilbert joined Magnum in the ring and gave One Man Gang a Hotshot. Magnum and Gilbert celebrated in the ring and Gilbert got on the mic, saying he was in TCW to help Magnum fight fire with fire and Sullivan had better watch his back. Iron Sheik & Ivan Koloff vs. The American Wolves - TCW Tag Team title match!: Davey Richards and the Iron Sheik started the match. Sheik dominated Richards until whipping him into the ropes. Richards kicked Sheik in the face when he lowered his head and went to work. Richards hit the DR Driver but the Iron Sheik was too close to the ropes. Richards threw Sheik out of the ring and a wild brawl erupted with Edwards and Koloff joining the fray, resulting in a double count out. next week: - Antonio Inoki vs. Andre the Giant

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 69: Arik Cannon & Jigsaw vs. The Sheepherders: Jigsaw controlled the early part of the match, hitting Luke with a Jig N Tonic but Butch made the save and placed Luke on top of Jigsaw for a near fall. The Sheepherders took control and isolated Jigsaw, wearing him down. Cannon was able to make the save after a double gutbuster but couldn't stop the running knee smash. The Sheepherders picked up another win. Jerry Lynn vs. Nigel McGuinness: Lynn controlled the momentum of the match until he whipped Nigel into the ropes. Nigel bounced back with a Jawbreaker Lariat and covered Lynn for the pin. Lou Thesz vs. Austin Aries: Aries attacked Thesz before the bell and never let up. Aries nailed Thesz with two brainbusters, working on the legend's neck. Aries hit a slingshot senton for a near fall. Aries clamped on his signature hold, the last chancery, and forced Thesz to tap out! Antonio Inoki vs. Andre the Giant: Andre mauled Inoki in the opening minutes, hitting the Big Splash twice. Inoki battled back and locked on the bow and arrow but Andre made it to the ropes. Inoki locked the Cobra Twist on twice, wearing Andre down. Andre regained control and locked on the bear hug but Inoki escaped after repeatedly elbowing Andre in the face. Inoki took control and locked on the bow and arrow a second time. Andre barely made it to the ropes. Inoki lured Andre into the center of the ring and clamped on the Octopus Hold. Bobby Heenan tried to interfere but was chopped down by Rikidozan. Andre the Giant had no choice but to tap out! Antonio Inoki has defeated Andre the Giant! Magnum TA & Eddie Gilbert vs. One Man Gang & Kevin Sullivan: Gang attacked Gilbert before the bell and hit a brutal 747. Magnum barely managed to break the pin. Eddie made a comeback and tagged in Magnum. Gang regained control and threw Magnum to the outside, dropping him across the guardrail. Magnum barely beat the count back into the ring. Gang tagged in Kevin Sullivan and Sullivan hit the double foot stomp for the win. Harley Race vs. Terry Gordy - TCW Heavyweight title match inside of a steel cage: Race speared Gordy out of his boots early on and followed it up with the diving headbutt but couldn't escape the cage. Race went to the top for a cross body but Gordy rolled through for a near fall. Race battled back and went to the top a second time but Gordy rolled out of the way of Race's diving headbutt, busting the champ open. Gordy hit the Bamm Bamm slam for a near fall and nearly took Race's head off with the running lariat. Gordy hit a back suplex for a near fall and nailed Race with the powerbomb for the win, ending Race's reign at 8 successful defenses. Terry Gordy is the TCW Heavyweight champion! next week: - Eddie Gilbert vs. Necro Butcher

Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 70: D'Lo Brown & Al Snow vs. The Sheepherders: Snow and Butch started out. Snow scored a near fall after smashing Miller with Head and followed it up with a Huricanrana for a near fall. The Sheepherders wore Snow down with three double gutbusters. Snow managed to tag out but The Sheepherders wore D'Lo down the same way. The Sheepherders hit three double gutbusters and followed it up with a running knee smash for the win. Austin Aries vs. Mr. X: Aries softened X up with a Pendulum Elbow and a Frog Splash before getting the tap out victory with the Last Chancery. Bryan Danielson vs. Super Crazy: Crazy scored a near fall early on with a cross body from the top but the rest of the match was all Danielson. Danielson rolled through Crazy's second attempt at a cross body block for a near fall and blasted the Extreme luchador with MMA strikes, busting him open. Danielson hit the flying headbutt for a near fall and locked on the Triangle Choke for the win. Eddie Gilbert vs. Necro Butcher: Gilbert nearly scored the win in the opening seconds with a small package. Gilbert and Necro fought all over the ring area. The referee herded the two men back into the ring and Gilbert hit the Hot Shot for the win. After the match, Sullivan's Slaughterhouse hit the ring but so did Magnum TA. Magnum threw a chair to Gilbert and entered the ring swinging a chair himself. Officials mobbed the ring and escorted all six men out. Lou Thesz vs. Mr. Fuji: Thesz wore Fuji down with the hammerlock and hit the Greco-Roman Backdrop for a near fall. Thesz whipped Fuji into the ropes and hit the Thesz Press for the win. Giant Baba vs. Masked Superstar II: Superstar hit the double arm suplex right off the bat for a near fall. Superstar hoisted Baba up into a Backbreaker but Baba managed to grab the ropes. Baba made a comeback and hit the Neckbreaker Drop for a near fall. Baba hit a second Neckbreaker Drop for the win. The Iron Sheik & Ivan Koloff vs. The American Wolves - TCW Tag Team title match: Richards and the Russia Bear started the match. Richards hit a pair of brainbusters and tagged in Edwards. Edwards planted Koloff with an Enzuigiri and the Wolves hit the Powerbomb across the Knees for a near fall. Koloff managed to tag out and the Iron Sheik drilled Edwards with the loaded boot for a near fall. Edwards made a comeback and the Wolves hit the Superkick/German Suplex combo for a near fall. Richards hit a brainbuster and followed it up with the DR Driver but Koloff made the save, breaking up the pin and placing the Iron Sheik on top of Richards for a near fall. Sheik tagged in Koloff and Richards tagged in Edwards. Edwards brought the Russian down with an Enzuigiri and clamped on the Achilles Lock for the win. Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 71: RVD & Sabu vs. Ivan Koloff & The Iron Sheik: RVD and the Sheik started off. RVD wore him down with a body scissors cradle and a five star frog splash before tagging in Sabu. Sabu clamped on the Camel Clutch twice but Koloff made the save. Sabu went for the Triple Jump Moonsault but missed. The Iron Sheik tagged in Ivan Koloff. Koloff and Sabu battled to the outside and Sabu took control. Sabu nailed Koloff with an Arabian Facebuster and locked on the camel clutch. Koloff escaped the hold and Sabu tagged in Van Dam. Van Dam and Sabu hit the rolling thunder on Koloff for a near fall. Sabu tagged Van Dam back in and Van Dam rolled Koloff up in a Body Scissors Cradle for the win. Gary Michael Capetta entered the ring and said that Harley Race was locked in a contract dispute with TCW so he wouldn't be exercising his rematch clause right away. Capetta said that TCW was considering viable contenders when Brent Albright entered the ring. The announcers reminded the crowd that Albright defeated Gordy to end his second reign as Ring of Victory Grand Champion. Albright issued the challenge, saying he knew he could beat Gordy again. William Muldoon vs. Larry Sharpe: Muldoon took his time and wore Sharpe down with three suplexes and two double shoulder locks. Sharpe was nearly out on his feet when Muldoon hit the body lift and throw for the win. Bryan Danielson vs. Mr. Fuji: Danielson and Fuji battled back and forth. Danielson locked on the Cattle Mutilation early on but Fuji managed to escape the hold. Danielson nailed a back superplex for a near fall but Fuji kicked out. Fuji rallied and suplexed Danielson for a near fall. Fuji got the win after a pair of Banzai Drops. Larry Zbyszko vs. Val Venis: Zbyszko took Venis apart in methodical fashion, wearing him down as the match progressed. Zbyszko scored a near fall after a missed turnbuckle charge and followed it up with a Piledriver for the win. Lou Thesz vs. Austin Aries: Thesz, eager to prove Aries's earlier victory was a fluke, was more aggressive than usual. He scored a near fall right off the bat with a small package and hit the Thesz Press for another near fall. Thesz nailed Aries with the Greco-Roman Backdrop for the win. Andre the Giant vs. Rikidozan; Andre used his size and power advantage to wear Rikidozan down. Andre hit the sitdown splash and locked on the bear hug but Rikidozan chopped his way out of the vice-like hold. Andre slammed Rikidozan and hit the big splash for the win. After the match, Andre brutalized Rikidozan. Antonio Inoki and Giant Baba tried to interfere but were cut off by Masked Superstar II and King Kong Bundy. Bryan Danielson came in through the crowd and smacked Andre with a chair shot. Triple Crown Wrestling Figure Four Friday - episode 72: Rob Van Dam & Sabu vs. Ted DiBiase & Bob Roop (with TCW Heavyweight champion Terry Gordy): Roop and DiBiase took control early on, wearing Sabu down with quick tags. Roop scored a near fall with the shoulderbreaker and tagged in DiBiase. DiBiase scored near falls with a fit drop and the loaded glove before tossing Sabu out of the ring. Sabu made a comeback and tagged in RVD. Van Dam and DiBiase battled back and forth. DiBiase locked on the Figure Four but van Dam escaped. DiBiase tagged in Roop and Roop scored a near fall with the suplex. RVD battled back and busted Roop open with the Van Daminator. Van Dam hit the Five Star Frog Splash and the Split legged moonsault for near falls. RVD and Sabu hit the Rolling Thunder on Roop, nearly knocking him out. Sabu hit the Triple Jump Moonsault but DiBiase distracted the referee. Sabu chased DiBiase out of the ring and ran right into a Terry Gordy lariat. Sabu was knocked senseless and counted out. Jerry Lynn vs. Larry Sharpe: Lynn softened Sharpe up with a twisting legdrop on the apron and finished him with a Cradle Piledriver for a quick win. Super Crazy vs. Larry Zbyszko: Zbyszko set a slow pace and wore Crazy down. Zbyszko scored near falls with the spinning back kick, the piledriver, the Larryland Sleeper, and the Abdominal Stretch before getting the win via a backbreaker. Bryan Danielson & Rikidozan vs. Andre the Giant and Masked Superstar II: Andre and Superstar isolated Danielson and wore him down. Andre scored near falls with the underhook suplex and a sitdown splash. Andre hit the Big Splash, nearly knocking Danielson unconscious, but Rikidozan made the save. Andre tagged in Masked Superstar II and Danielson made a comeback, tagging in Rikidozan. Rikidozan went on the rampage, hitting two hiplocks for near falls and knocking II senseless with the Thunderous Chops. Rikidozan hit II with a second barrage of Thunderous Chops as Danielson dropkicked Andre off the apron. Rikidozan covered II for the three count. The American Wolves vs. The Sheepherders - TCW Tag Team title match: The Wolves isolated Butch for most of the match and worked him over with quick tags. The Wolves hit the powerbomb across the knees for a near fall and Edwards wore down Butch's legs with two Achilles holds and tagged in Davey Richards. Richards and Miller brawled on the outside until Miller was disqualified for smashing Richards with a steel chair. Terry Gordy vs. Brent Albright - TCW Heavyweight title match: Gordy taunted Albright before the opening bell and quickly paid for it. Albright took Gordy down and locked on the Sharpshooter. Gordy barely escaped the hold and walked right into an exploder by Albright for a near fall. Albright clamped on the Crowbar and all hell broke loose. Ted DiBiase & Bob Roop hit the ring and jumped up on the apron. While the referee was dealing with them, Gordy was clearly tapping out. Rob Van Dam & Sabu hit the ring and a wild brawl broke out. The referee had no choice but to stop the match and rule it a no contest. The six men battled as the show went off the air. next week: - Rob Van Dam vs. Bob Roop
