I am trying to come up with a simple chart to determine if an Iron Man Match goes into Sudden Death or not. I want to take into account whether it is a Title or Non-Title match and whether or not the champion is a Face or Heel.
For Title matches I was thinking something like this.
TITLE MATCHES
If Heel is a champ, he accepts the Face's challenge on a roll of 2-4.
If Face is a champ, he accepts the Heel's challenge on a roll of 2-8.
Note: If the challenge for Sudden Death is not accepted roll one die.
EVEN: An Authority Figure comes out and orders the match to go into Sudden Death.
ODD: The match is officially declared a DRAW to the boos of the fans.
NON TITLE MATCHES
2-4 Face challenges the Heel who reluctantly accepts. Match continues.
5-6 Face challenges the Heel who declines and leaves the ring.
7-9 Both wrestlers are battered from the bout and settle for the Draw.
10-11 Heel challenges the Face who accepts to the delight of the crowd. The Heel second guessing himself then backs off and leaves the ring to a chorus of boos.
12 Surprisingly the Heel challenges the Face to Sudden Death. He immediately accepts and the match continues.
Note: I did this chart in about 3 minutes, so I know it is FAR from perfect. I just wanted to have something to put here to give you an idea of what I am looking for.
Also, I'm figuring the winner of a fall or loser by DQ of a fall would begin the next fall on Level 1 or 2 Offense.
Any suggestions or input appreciated.
