So it was another 3XW show with the usual guys...the heel stable of the Gentlemen's Club came out and ran their mouth, with the puny evil commissoner on their side made it a 5 man match with commish on their team. Former "commish" comes out and teases that he'll be the 5th man for the heroes...but says that won't happen as a man named Black will be 5th man...out comes TYLER BLACK~ place went nuts! This was an unannounced shocker...it was never mentioned he was to be here tonight.
He ended up getting DQ'd after the ref bump, one of the villains had the belt to KO someone and Tyler took it away and hit him, ref saw it...
The Missouri Wrestling Revival was there (website that promotes midwest indy wrestling). They chose me (Chad and his friend Christian opted out...chickens
) to be featured on thier website with a "good guy." I originally chose the Horndogs, then changed it when I saw Tyler was there. They took both pics, not sure what one will show up, if any.
Also at intermission I saw that Chad's son Connor bought the Tyler Black t-shirt...black one with "Black" in red and his face on it. Back says "The First. Last and Only" So I ran and got one too for $20 bucks. Not sure if it's new, but it was new to me. I didn't see he had shirts last time he was here if he even did. Plus we got the first look (for us) at the sweet new ROH title.
The rest of the card was great as they're building up to their 5 year show next month...the 3XW title on the line in a ladder match! The title vs. title on the line as Pure champion vs. Cruiser champion...and more. I've been to 3 of these so far, maybe 4... and they keep getting better each time. Oh, and Arik Cannon will be there next month!
