One of the Special Edition cards coming out this summer is for Senior Official Bryce Remsburg. Bryce is the head official in Chikara, but also refs for ROH, Dragongate USA and other feds. He is really popular for his work on Chikara Podcasts and Commentary for Chikara DVDs.
His card has stat modifications for matches Bryce officiates, and also rules for matches in Chikara arenas. As we do the final updates, is there anything specific that you would like to see on such a card? Its a new mechanic for LOW and LOTF, so I'd be interested to see what people would like on such a unique card.

I guess an arguing with Wiggly mechanic would only work if they were hosting the podcast, not reffing a match.

I'm not sure how it would work, but some sort of "Bryce loses control of the match" mechanic seems like a good idea. Whenever I think of Bryce reffing (at least from the brief clips I've seen on YouTube), I keep thinking of him slamming wrestlers/managers, freaking out because he's in a Delirious mask, or being convinced a 2 count was a 3 count.
Not having seen much of his work; does he typically end up in comedy spots like those... or does he actually end up being a serious ref when the situation calls for it?

He is also the senior referee for Shimmer.

Bryce is definatly one of the Best Refs out there! When he works ROH, IWA-MS, Shimmer, or any of the other Promotions I see him work with, he plays it straight! Chikara, as most people know, can be a little on the whacky side, and Bryce can fit right in, getting involved in some of the matches! For those who don't know, he also works with a Comedy Troupe called "Secret Pants"! |
