Round 1 Tag Tourney 1. Bobo Brazil and Jimmy Snuka edge out a win over the Miracle Violence Connection when Snuka hits the Superfly Splash (+3) to pin Terry Gordy. This is a back and forth brawl with both teams having chances to win. Finally, Snuka catches Terry off the ropes, hits a flying splash, a flying headbutt and then the big Superfly Splash to take the pinfall.
2. Although they get dominated for a while, Londrick manages to come back and beat Jushin Liger and the Mountie via an Assisted Shooting Star Press on Liger. Despite their advantages, Liger and Mountie just can't quite put away the youngsters who battle back and take a close win.
3. Bobby Heenan and Andre the Giant beat The Masked Superstars when Heenan pins Masked Superstar I via a Pin Using Ropes. Andre nails Superstar I with two Big Splashes and then tags in Heenan who quickly makes the cover, still using the ropes to make sure he can score the pinfall.
4. Giant Baba and Tiger Mask surprise the Road Warriors when Baba pins Animal with the Neckbreaker Drop. The Roadies dominate the match until Animal goes for a deathjump only to get knocked to the floor. Baba then smashes his head into the ring table and tosses him back in and hits the Neckbreaker Drop. Tiger Mask dropkicks Hawk to prevent him from interfering and the biggest upset so far has occurred.
5. In a marathon match, The Heavenly Bodies squeak by The New Impact Players when Candido pins Credible with the Blonde Bomb. Both teams look good but in the end, Credible gets caught napping off the ropes, which turns the tide, allowing Candido to put him away with the Blonde Bomb and pin.
6. The Fabulous Kangaroos beat The Nu Age Outlaws when Costello pins Billy Gunn following repeated forearm smashes. The Outlaws dominate early but just can't keep either Kangaroo down. The Kangaroos battle back with dirty tactics and double teams until they catch Billy by surprise and Costello scores a fast pin for the victory.
7. The Flying Redheads pull off another upset by beating the Midnight Express as Lyons locks Lane in a Sleeper Hold for the submission. The Redheads dominate a lot of the match with quick tags and good double teams. The Midnights do make their usual comeback and almost pull a win but finally Bastien knocks Lane for a loop and then Lyons clamps on the Figure Four to weaken him and then the Sleeper to win it.
8. Rikidozan and Antonio Inoki get a good challenge from Gorgeous George and Adrian Street but Inoki comes out on top with a belly to back suplex and pin of Street. Riki and Inoki dominate early, but Street battles back and he and George give both Japanese superstars fits but Riki finally gets Inoki back into the ring and he quickly takes care of Street to win.
Singles Round 1 1. George Hackenschmidt finally puts away Bryan Danielson with the Russian Bear Hug. Danielson speed and agility help him for a long while, but eventually Hackenschmidt just wears him out. Danielson nearly pulls victory out of defeat with the Triangle Choke but Hack escapes, battles back and finally grabs him in a keylock armbar and then the bear hug to win.
2. Rob Van Dam pins Ted DiBiase with a bodyscissors cradle. RVD's agility and speed are on display here as DiBiase gets in some shots, and one Dream, but RVD is never in real danger as he battles back and clamps on a bodyscissors and turns it into a quick cradle for the pinfall.
3. After nearly blowing the match, Bruiser Brody finishes off One Man Gang with the Jumping Knee Drop. It looks bad for Brody as Gang knocks him to the mat, splashes him from the second turnbuckle and then climbs to the top and hits the 747 Splash. Brody manages to kick out. Gang then tries to bite BRody, but Brody won't have any of that as he knocks down Gang with a twisting vertical suplex, hits a big boot and then delivers the Jumping Knee Drop to win.
4. Rick Rude upsets Mil Mascaras with the Rude Awakening. This is a tight match and both men have chances to win. Rude catches Mascaras trying to climb to the top turnbuckle, slams him down and then hits the Rude Awakening to take the pinfall.
5. Buddy Rogers defeats Nick Bockwinkel with the Figure Four Grapevine. Just as it looks like it's going to be a long match, Rogers surpsies Bockwinkel with a throat drop on the ropes and a quick FIgur Four Grapevine for the submission.
6. Frank Gotch systamatically takes down Harley Race before making him tap to the rolling kneebar. It looks like Gotch is going to take it very quickly as he takes down Race with the rolling knee bar and transitions it to the toe hold. Race holds on but Gotch never really is in danger as he quickly wears down Race before putting him away with a series of forearm uppercuts and then the rolling knee bar.
7. Nigel McGuiness easily conquers Magnum T.A. with the Jawbreaker Lariat. This is all Nigel as he simply wears down Magnum before pinning him following two Jawbreaker Lariats.
8. Killer Kowalski defeats Jim Cornette when the referee rules Cornette unable to continue following multiple bombs away knee drops. The referee was unable to disqualify Kowalski so for Cornette's safety he simply calls for the bell as Cornette is unable to continue (he was up to 14 when I decided to call for the bell)
Thoughts so far My dice still hate the Roadies and the Lane/Eaton version of the Midnights (Condrey/Eaton have held my tag titles a few times) They still love Gotch, Andre, and the Kangaroos.
Hope everyone likes it. Rounds 2 and 3 tomorrow.

YES! My guys never win, but it looks like I have a shot this time.
Some surprises thus far, but then again, in the world of LOW/LOTF the only thing for sure is...nothings for sure!

Harley Race is out of the Singles round, but how about Andre and Heenan huh? The Heenan Family may just have an edge! A GIANT edge!
