Sounds like my boy Gotch took it to Race. Too bad MVC lost. But I am not a fan of Bobo Brazil, so it is double heartbreak for me. Look at Gotch to take it all! He isn't old school, he is OLD COOL! (Terrible catch phrase.)

Round 2 The Flying Redheads beat Rikidozan and Antonio Inoki when Bastien pinned Inoki following a series of flying dropkicks. Early on it looked like the Japanese duo woudl have an easy win but the Redheads kept battling back. Finally Lyons maanged to revese an Inoki body slam, tagged in Bastien who hit a flying body press and then the dropkicks to win.
The Fabulous Kangaroos finally took down The Heavenly Bodies when Costello pinned Candido following the Boomerang. The Bodies kept it close for a long while but finally the Kangaroos beat down Candido until finally he could not kick out.
Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan beat Giant Baba and Tiger Mask as Giant Baba tried to break up a pin only to accidentally leg drop Tiger Mask. Andre then head butted Baba out of the ring while Heenan took the win.
Bobo Brazil and Jimmy Snuka beat Londrick when Brazil pinned Paul London with the Coco Butt. Snuka never even gets into the ring as Brazil countered a London forearm smash, slammed London down and then Coco Butted him for the win.
Round 2 Singles Killer Kowalski dispatched Nigel McGuiness with the Kowalski Claw. McGuiness dominated early but Kowalski battled back and kept it up until the claw kept McGuiness down for the pinfall.
Frank Gotch survived Buddy Rogers and put him away with a guillotine choke. Gotch had his troubles but finally managed to hook on the guillotine choke and that caused Rogers to pass out.
Bruiser Brody put away Rick Rude with a running leg drop. This was a tough battle as neither guy wanted to give in. Finally Brody took down Rude with a twisting vertical suplex and then dropped a running leg for the pinfall. (Snake Eyes for Rude sadly)
Rob Van Dam beat George Hackenschmidt with the Five Star Frog Splash. Hack dominated early with power but Van Dam's high flying skills eventually took control and two Five Star Frog Splashes take the win.

The semifinals and finals will take place tomorrow as I'm also working on a project. The finals for both will be in a cage.

Still in it! Whoo hoo! I think this is the furthest I've ever gone in a board tourney before. Usually because I always pick Plethador. Great stuff Troy!

It still amuses me greatly that Bobby has scored both pins so far.

Semifinals Frank Gotch destroyed Killer Kowalski in 30 seconds with the Gotch Toe Hold. Gotch tossed Kowalski into the ropes and then dropped him throat first on to them. He then quickly clamped on the toe hold and Kowalski just as quickly tapped to it.
Rob Van Dam pinned Bruiser Brody with the Five Star Frog Splash. Van Dam just wouldn't stay down for Brody and eventually grabbed control and pounded him with his whole arsenal before hitting the frog splash to win it.
Finals will be Frank Gotch vs Rob Van Dam in a steel cage.
Jimmy Snuka and Bobo Brazil finally take down Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan when Snuka hit a flying headbutt on Heenan. Heenan actually looked really good here and Andre did well though Bobo managed to lay the hurt on him. In a last despate attempt to win, Heenan tagged in to try and save the match but Snuka caught him with a backbreaker and then hit the flying headbutt to win.
The Fabulous Kangaroos take a cheap win over The Flying Redheads when Lyons is tripped up by Roy Heffernan allowing Al Costello to sneak a cheap pin on Lyons which Bastien is unable to stop.
The finals in the tag tourney are
Bobo Brazil and Jimmy Snuka vs The Fabulous Kangaroos in a steel cage match

BOOOOOOO! Ah well, still the furthest I've ever gotten! Heenan will have to fire that no-good Giant and get him someone who can actually win matches! Great work Troy! Lots of fun!
