Ok, if you have not read the 2123 handbook and do not want to know what is happening stop reading.
I'm a little behind in my fed and getting ready to start 2122. What I am wondering, since I like to try and plan a little ahead, how would you handle it if Big Things was NOT your bottom team. If it looks like they are not going to finish at the bottom, should I start having the bottom team interefer in thier matches causing them to drop to the bottom?

You could either do that or use an element within one of their matches that causes a break-up of Big Things anyway...Something like a "gun incident" or Sly Drury comes between them.

To answer your actual question, though, if you want to keep them a team, then keep them a team, but with the storylines for each in 2122 I'd say break them up. However, you'll need to break up your real last place team, which I would assume to be TitanGlory. That shouldn't be overly difficult, as there isn't really anything for them to do in 2122 anyway, at least according to the handbook. Split them up for awhile and then come up with a storyline reason for them to team again.
I had to deal with a similar problem when the Legends won the Gladiator Civil War for me. I ended up getting rid of Vengeance for quite some time as a result and kept the Legends active for a while.
