In the current issue of The Promoter, in the Indy Fed Spotlight section for Legends, one of 2 different articles I contributed for this issue is about my favorite Indy fed PWG.
I know I'm not the best writer and there are some things (like PWG's website) I wish I had included. But if you read that article, please let me know what you think.
And definitley check out those You Tube links for PWG I provided. The one with Colt Cabana helping El Generico with his promos last summer IMO is hilarious. And both of those hype videos are great too. There is a guy on the PWG message board called TigerDriver98 who creates those hype videos and his work is really impressive.

Great article Vegas.
I appriciate the overview of the feds history.
I have never watched any PWG as I usually send my Indy dollars to Chikara & ROH (not sure if ROH is still an Indy anymore lol) but I thank you for the article and I am going to give them a close look. I have ordered Kurt Russelmania and PWG sells out.
I am down with any promotion that names a show Roger Dorn Night.

PWG is my personal favorite Indy fed. So I immediately said yes when I was asked to write about it for The Promoter. IMO, you made 2 great selections on your DVD orders. Kurt Russelmania might actually arrive with a title of Kurt Russelreunion because apparently the WWE forced PWG to rename that show. The guest ring announcer who you will see for the match between Jushin Liger and El Genercio is Kirby who is actually one of the members of this discussion board. Did you order Volume 1 or Volume 2 of PWG Sells Out? (but you can't go wrong getting either one of them, I own and have watched both volumes). |
