VERANO DE ESCANDALO
"Summer of Scandal"
Monterrey, Mexico
August 30, 2119
As we go on the air, former World champion Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase are seen entering the building. No one knows what they are here for but it is probably not anything good.
Mike Quackenbush & Jigsaw def. The Osirian Portal
An incredible opening contest as these two teams did everything in their power to score a win. Tons and tons of finishers and nearfalls, fighting on the floor, pin saves, you name it. Amasis came off the top rope but Quackenbush held on and rolled through for a cover and grabbed the three count.
The Batiri def. The Spectral Envoy
Nothing like a good ol' Mexican trios match! This one delivered in every way possible. All six men on top and down on the mat. Amazing action all around but Kodama sent Hallowicked down for the pin with the Flying Blockbuster.
Backstage: We are taken to the back where Andre and DiBiase are roaming the halls. They run into Konnan, leader of the Foreign Legion. Andre was at odds with this stable recently, but didn't give Konnan a second look and kept on going.
Team F.I.S.T. def. 3.Ole & Super Crazy
Team F.I.S.T. showed just how good of a team they really are in this match. They totally dominated the bout, never once getting in any trouble as they shut down any offense their opponents tried to muster. Icarus put away Scott Parker with the Blu-Ray.
Backstage: once again a camera follows Andre and DiBiase in the back. The two encounter Green Ant who starts talking to the Giant about the help he gave the Colony when suddenly Andre viciously grabs Green Ant around the throat! The eighth wonder of the world easily hoists Green Ant in the air and then hurls him off the wall and walks off. Konnan then laughs as his opponent later tonight.
Tim Donst def. JD Michaels
JD Michaels had the momentum at the start but it didn't last long. Donst took over and was relentless in dishing out the punishment. Donst never let up and won with an inverted Chikara special.
Tiger Mask def. Sabu
A very highly anticipated bout as both competitors had been working in Japan. Sabu absolutely dominated the bout but was unable to finish off Tiger Mask. Finally the Japanese legend got things going his way and the Tiger Suplex ended the match. As Tiger Mask raised his arm in victory he was attacked by the NWA World Jr. heavyweight champion Delirious! Sabu recovered and joined the assault but then Jushin Thunder Liger hit the ring to even the odds.
Brodie Lee def. Larry Sweeney
The leader of the Roughnecks against the manager of Sweet & Sour Inc. The powerhouse totally ran right over Sweeney. The big boot blasted Sweeney no less than five times before the Big Rig took the pinfall.
Green Ant def. Konnan
Green Ant made a ton of new fans after this match as Konnan hit him with every move he could think of but Green Ant wouldn't quit. How Green Ant lived no one knows as Konnan pummeled him for such a long time. Yet Green Ant has unbelievable heart and pulled off the shocking win with the Cloverleaf.
Afterwards Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase chose this moment to come down and get in the ring. Andre gave Green Ant a massive headbutt while the Million $ Man got the microphone. "We are here in stinking Mexico to get Andre's world title belt back where it belongs. We want our rematch tonight. Andre was forced to defend the title in three-way match at SummerSlam and we don't care if this match has Blassie and Mascaras or just Blassie. The Boss wants his title match now!"
NWA WORLD JR. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Delirious (ch) def. Jushin Thunder Liger
A tremendous win for the Jr. champ as Larry Sweeney was not able to be at ringside following the beating Brodie Lee gave him. It was Liger that beat Delirious one year ago in a tournament final to become the first Jr. champion.
These two were fired up after the happenings after the Sabu-Tiger Mask match earlier. Liger almost won real fast with a Brainbuster. The fight turned in favor of Delirious on the floor. He got on a roll and a Praying Mantis Bomb and the Bizzaro Driver finished off Liger.
Everyone stood back up when Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase headed down to the ring. The Boss wasted no time in grabbing Liger and with one hand throwing him over the top rope to the floor. Delirious didn't get away either as Andre launched him into the turnbuckle and then squashed him.
DiBiase got the mic and again declared the Giant would get his world title rematch here tonight.

MWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
The Colony def. The Throwbacks (ch), 2-1
Completely unbelievable action in the first fall. Good enough that just that much could win match of the year. The Colony seemed to have everything going their way but soon it was anybody's game. Ridiculous moves and countermoves, kickouts and saves. Fire Ant and Dasher Hatfield were the ones to take the most beatings but it was Soldier Ant losing the first fall after a Cracker Jackhammer by Hatfield (Fire Ant 5 coins, Soldier Ant 1 coin, Hatfield 4 coins, Dunkerton 1 coin).
The Colony almost lost the second fall and the match in short order. Fire Ant was hit by Air Dunkerton but Soldier Ant saved the day. These two battled it out but Soldier Ant was able to even the match with the TKO.
The final fall was over in no time at all. A double team on Dunkerton followed by the Beach Break from Fire Ant. Hatfield was cut off and the Colony are the new MWE tag team champions! (Fire Ant 6 coins, Soldier Ant 2 coins, Dunkerton 3 coins, Hatfield 4 coins).

KING OF TRIOS TITLE TOURNAMENT FINAL
Iron Mike DiBiase, Les Thatcher & Dewey Robertson def. The Foreign Legion, 2-0
The first fall was dead even showing the old school grapplers could go with Konnan's new Foreign Legion. Neither team could hold onto an advantage. Claudio Castagnoli lived through three finishers but it was Tursas sent down to the mat after Dewey Robertson came off the top rope and then the Figure Four leglock on the big man and he gave it up.
As the match went on the Foreign Legion could get nothing going their way. A very long match with a whole lot of tags. Again Castagnoli very nearly lost the match but saves were made. The end came when Iron Mike DiBiase hit a Top Rope Knee Drop on Ares for the pin (Castagnoli 5 coins, Ares 1 coin, DiBiase 1 coin, Thatcher 1 coin, Robertson 2 coins).

MWE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Chris Hero def. Eddie Kingston (ch), 2-1
Another amazing battle in the first fall. Incredibly hard-hitting, back and forth, brawling on the floor. Hero withstood the Backfist to the Future while Kingston kicked out of the Rolling Elbow Smash. The fight just kept going but Hero won the first fall with his Rolling Elbow Smash (Kingston 3 coins, Hero 3 coins).
These two warriors wouldn't stop fighting for that title. Both men were nearly done but refused to let it end. Kingston survived to even the match with a half-nelson suplex (Kingston 4 coins, Hero 4 coins).
Whether Hero wanted his manager Larry Sweeney out there or not, it didn't matter as he got the job done anyway. The two could barely stand but Hero came off the top rope to nail Kingston, score the three count, and win the Mexican heavyweight championship for the third time!
In the ring: Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase held up the start of the main event. NWA championship committee members and MWE representatives couldn't get them to leave. Finally as the crowd started to get rowdy over the long wait hasty discussions were held in the ring with the Giant, DiBiase, Fred Blassie and Mil Mascaras. Although they still weren't happy, DiBiase agreed to have Andre as the Special guest referee and Blassie and Mascaras gave it the ok just so they could get the match started.
NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Freddie Blassie (ch) def. Mil Mascaras
The scene after this match mirrored those in Puerto Rico when the fan's were livid and outraged and were going to make sure people knew about it. The bell rang with Andre as the referee and the two combatants went to work. Blassie gained the advantage and leveled the Luchador with the Southern Neckbreaker. The Giant pounded the mat for the 1-2-3 count in rapid succession and rang the bell. At first no one could believe, not even the two wrestlers. The crowd exploded at the fast count on their all-time hero Mascaras. Blassie avoided Andre's charge and left the ring. Andre fought the crowd all the way to the back.
