Good day all. A quick introduction: Quentin LeBeau former/current/quasi active player. I was around way back when in the elder days and you know how it goes you get busy you get tired life slaps you around and you stop writing.
But I'm trying to break that bad habit and put forth a little work. For the 2 people who probably remember me despite rumors to the contrary I'm not living in the woods somewhere in Sweden writing works of existential art nor have I been kidnapped by a traveling circus.
To everyone else. I was active way back when in the late 1990s era up until about 3 years ago when I fell off the map. Anyway some stuff I've done includes: the remix of Janus that came out in one of Eric K's sets and a good bit of stuff from the NAWC sets Xaphan, Tyler Silvermane, Soltari and the tag team New Kindred and some other stuff I'm probably forgetting from various things I worked on.
The AWF (RINGS originally) was my main federation and offshoot of a lot of different ideas. Because I wrote on it for so long it became kind of a mix of my differing styles and my writing as it evolved over the years. Because of this it started to cave under it's own canon. Currently I'm rereading my own work and salvaging the best ideas and characters I had from the later writings to work as a jumping off point while streamlining the overall back story.
It is fitting together a lot more smoothly now I gotta say and I've even been able to work my ancient GWF fed (2076-2094) into the overall timeline which makes the wrestling world the new fed is going to be in richer.
If I do have one concern it's if what I write won't get me banhammered in nearly record time. Like some of the writers of that era I do like my darker elements and my writing while very psychological and based in character study does have some bleak things and more then a share of swearing because of it. I seldom go for something just to shock or horrify there is a meaning and a plot purpose for nearly everything but that doesn't make all of it pleasant.
A question I have is if I stick warnings and do offsite links will I be spared the hammering from the mods who are simply upholding the rules ?
