Got the set yesterday...finished reading the book today and I love it. I'm REALLY liking the Thracians ("Filthy Aethran sport"...LOL) and the fed moving towards MMA is awesome. I had thought about doing that anyway so that it had it's own niche. Looking forward to seeing where the POW goes in the next edition.

I am always appreciative of fans like Punisher who watched the CPC grow and helped put characters I created on the COTG map. Thank you for being there.

Why is it that everyone seems to NEED storylines from the author to actually PLAY[/i] this game?!?
I echo what Beefy said: "Have you READ the POW 2124 Handbook Punisher??"
It is the BEST game edition in YEARS!! Page turning & filled with excitement! I found myself wishing that Mark was the one writing GWF 2126 - it's that damn good!
I guess I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with the POW going all MMA, ESPECIALLY since they are making the wrestling cards available via PDF...what is the problem with that?
I've been all-MMA since the beginning; so the change is right up my alley. I always wanted something different than the GWF - POW is definately different now.
It's exciting to see someone take a risk & do something to make their product unique.
Count me in. I proudly support the POW in any format!

I love the idea. The fact that you are making the wrestling version of the cards available for anyone that wants to use the characters in that manner is incredible. You clearly did not need to do this (as it is also a lot of extra work), yet you kept the fans in mind. Kudos! Now that a MMA game system has been fleshed out, it would be awesome to see a LOW-style MMA game down the road. You already have the rights to Dan Severn, a hall of famer, so you have a start and I'm sure a gateway to other contacts.

Since the POW is going mostly MMA does that mean we could see the roster bulk up to maybe 70-80 fighters and get larger divisions? I'd love to see big huge divisions with 16-20 fighters.

I think there are plenty of possibilities for roster expansions, minor feds a la the GWFZ, things like that, for sure. It would only make sense from a realism point of view, not to mention the improvement in competition. The only issue with that is the cost to the consumer of a quick expansion. Granted, if it's PDF that's not as expensive, but we still have to pay Werner!

I'm glad the POW finally found its identity. The 2124 handbook was incredible and I'm looking forward to the shift to total MMA. I had a hard time using them in a mixed capacity anyway and changed over to the pure MMa format a while back. Hopefully things will settle down in my life so I can get back to playing some cards.

Do we have any idea of when POW 2125 will be released. Currently only the GWF is in year 2125, and in four months it will be moving into 2126. aCe is basically in limbo right now and GWFZ is getting ready to have its "final" edition, which I expect will bring it up to 2125. This would leave POW as the only ongoing fed besides GWF and it is currently running one game year behind the GWF. Will POW catch up to GWF prior to GWF 2126 being released, or will it continue to lag one year behind? This would make it very hard to have people move from one fed to another because of the time disparity.
Also, are we going to have more cases like the Thrasians where MMA cards are released when the set comes out and we have to wait 6+ months for the wrestling pdfs?

Remember, POW is no longer supported by Filsinger Games......it's all being done thru Tournament Master, Mark, and Mike M....so it's at their pace not Tom's.
