This is the list of the wrestlers participating in the two day 2010 Battle of Los Angeles (BOLA)- PWG's major annual tournament for singles competition (updated after most recent announcement):

Daniels makes his PWG return at the 2010 BOLA! This will be the first time I get to see him wrestle live (that is if I get to attend this show. I probably won't even know for sure if I can go until that weekend even though i'm buying my ticets as soon as they go on sale.)
I'll be updating the list as the other 15 participants get gradually announced for this tournament on Labor Day weekend.

Brandon Gatson (a PWG regular who advanced all the way to the Semi-Finals at last year's Battle of Los Angeles)
and
Ricochet (aka Helios of Chikara where he teams with LOTF's Jigsaw. This will be my first time seeing Ricochet wrestle live).

Tonight Rocky Romero and Chuck Taylor also got announced as participants in the 2009 Battle of Los Angeles.
Romero used to wrestle before in PWG. I've seen Romero live before (at Ring of Honor during WrestleMania 26 weekend last March in Phoenix) but never before at PWG.
Chuck Taylor, of course, I've seen wrestle multiple times live before at PWG.

Of the 11 participants still TBA, it looks like PWG World Champion Davey Richards will not be among them as according to his website he is wrestling in Japan for NJPW on both days.
Also, since TNA has a PPV on the second day of BOLA, that probably also eliminates Brian Kendrick, the Motor City Machine Guns (especially since they're the current TNA tag team champions), and perhaps even the Young Bucks- if so this would be the first PWG show the Young Bucks have missed since signing with TNA last Fall.
But then again, I sort of prefer the wrestlers in the tournament tp be 16 mostly singles competititors and not like last year when the Young Bucks had 2 of the spots.
If Bryan Danielson is in the tournament, I think he has a good chance of winning it. Last year before he left for the WWE, Danielson left PWG on a high note by winning the PWG World Championship from Chris Hero on his final (at the time) PWG match. If he is about to return to the WWE, perhaps Danielson could once again leave PWG on a high note by winning the Battle of Los Angeles for his 1st time?

Tonight Silverback on PWG's message board announced two more participants, both of whom are part of LOTF:
Roderick Strong (Strong is of course a PWG regular- I have yet to attend a PWG show where he hasn't appeared- who advanced all the way to the finals of last year's Battle of Los Angeles)
and
Claudio Castagnoli (this will be Castagnoli's first appearance in PWG in over 2 years, the last time Castagnoli appeared in PWG was Life During Wartime- PWG's 5th anniversary show- where he wrestled against Phoenix Star and then later interfered in that classic steel cage title match between Human Tornado and Chris Hero.)

the Young Bucks still haven't missed a PWG show since signing with TNA last year! I wasn't sure they would be at BOLA though since TNA also has a PPV the 2nd day of BOLA this year.
