Some Indy feds have real life annual tournaments. For example PWG has the Battle of Los Angeles every year for singles competition and PWG also has DDT4 every year for tag team competition. Also, Chikara has King of Trios and (although I'm not sure it's technically a tournament since there is only one round followed by an elimination match) ROH has Survival of the Fittest. Do you have any annual tournaments in your personal LOTF feds? If so, I thought it would be an interesting idea for a thread to hear about them.

Hey, now that you mention it, since I just got Trios I'm about to run a huge LOTF tournament in MRW: Revolution Wrestling. It'll be known as "Tag Team Revolution" and (not to give away too much) but it'll be a 16-team tournament with the tag team championship in play the entire tournament. So it's possible the tag team title could change hands four times in one night.
It could turn into an annual type thing, or I may run it semi-annually, or whenever I feel like it I guess. That's the good thing about playing this game: I'm not booking for an audience so I can do any goofy stuff I feel like whenever the mood strikes and the viewership and buyrates will never change!

Sounds like how the Booking Team in TNA takes their approach to booking.... But back on topic. I'm thinking of running a seasonal tag team tournament to introduce a new tag team into CCW. I also run the CCW Breakout Star a 12 week program with the top two wrestlers joining the main roster and the top man getting a shot at the CCW Television Championship
