Card 1 from Safeco Field, Seattle, WA
Welcome to the first ever card of Wrestling's Modern Era! WME welcomes you and yours to the matches of legendary promoter Jeff Manning aka JMello!
Our show kicks off with Koko B. Ware and his bird Frankie flapping their way to the ring.
Next, his opponent the Iron Sheik comes into the ring and waves the Iran flag in the air.
Match Number One: Koko B. Ware versus Iron Sheik
Koko tried his best with his high flying ways, but Koko was quickly dropped by a loaded boot from Iron Sheik.
Match Result: Iron Sheik d. Koko B. Ware via kick with loaded boot; 1*
Rob Van Dam comes out to the ring. RVD grabs the mic and tells the fans that he was sitting around the Comic Book shop, wondering if he'd ever get to experience 4:20 again and then he received a call from WME to headline their debut show. RVD said he's never butted heads with Diamond Dallas Page before, but when he got a call saying he could be WME's first World Champion, he would have something to show DDP. If DDP would like a preview, he can come out anytime and witness the whole f'n show. DDP comes out to the ring and says he knows what it means to be a working man's champion. DDP was honored to get the call from WME to be here tonight. DDP says tonight RVD will feel the Diamond Cutter and that's not a bad thing, that's...a good thing.
The two stare each other down, until DDP rolls out and heads to the back.
D'Lo Brown walks down to the ring, his head wobbling, padding his chest and doing his normal strut. His opponent, Chris Candido mocks D'Lo on his way to the ring, with the exact same entrance.
Match Number Two: Chris Candido versus D'Lo Brown
D'Lo didn't like Candido's impersonation and put an end to it with a big swinging side slam.
Match Result: D'Lo Brown d. Chris Candido via swinging side slam; 1*
Match Number Three: Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka versus Jushin "Thunder" Liger
Liger had his engines revved up, but was quickly hit by Superfly with some power. Snuka took advantage of his strength, then finished off Liger with a SUPERFLY LEAP!
Match Result: Jimmy Snuka d. Jushin Liger via SUPERFLY LEAP; 1/2*
Justin Credible comes out to the ring with a singapore cane and says he came to WME to make a statement. He and his cane were going to cause a path of destruction through WME, all the way to the World Title. Credible was interrupted by the music of Enter the Sandman. The Sandman slowly made his way to the ring with a singapore cane in one hand, beer in the other. Sandman smoked a cigarette into the ring and blew it in Credible face. Sandman chugged his beer and smashed the can on his own head! Then Sandman told Credible, great minds think a like and the two swung the cane's at each other. The cane's collided like a sword fight as the bell rang to start their match.
Match Number Four: The Sandman versus Justin Credible(No Rules)
The Sandman got the best of the Singapore Cane duel and cracked Credible over the skull with it several times.
Match Result: The Sandman d. Justin Credible via SINGAPORE CANE; 1/2*
Al Snow with Head came out to the ring and said that WME hired him to come here and do the j-o-b. Al Snow said he was not a jobber and would prove it by never being pinned for the 3 count. King Kong Bundy interrupted and told Snow he was in luck, he wouldn't be pinned for the 3, he'd be pinned for the five!
Match Number Five: Al Snow versus King Kong Bundy
This match was a true power verse speed, Bundy kept trying to catch Snow, but Snow was surprisingly elusive and had several opportunities for the upset. Unfortunately for Snow, Bundy did get ahold of him and hit a power drop.
Match Result: King Kong Bundy d. Al Snow via power drop; 3 1/2*'s
Greg Valentine had a promo air claiming he was sick and tired of hearing a Mexican, Konnan enter the ring with his stereotypical Ola le. Greg Valentine said he was going to put an end to the hip-hop, spanglish speaking Mexican.
Konnan entered the ring and did his normal speech about being rowdy, rowdy, and bout it, bout it.
Match Number Six: Konnan versus Greg Valentine
Greg Valentine tried to be methodical, but Konnan was fired up from Valentine's trash talk. Konnan took off the turnbuckle pad and got DQ'ed after several times of ramming the Hammer into the exposed steel.
Match Result: Greg Valentine d. Konnan via DQ; No Stars
George Steele seems lost and comes to ringside slobbering and drooling. George enters the ring and immediately pulls on a turnbuckle and starts eating it. Next, his opponent is introduced, Andre the Giant! The crowd goes nuts as Andre makes his way to the ring.
Match Number Seven: George "the Animal" Steele versus Andre the Giant
George tried some offense, but Andre was too much. Andre did a turnbuckle squash and got a quick pin on George.
Match Result: Andre the Giant d. George Steele via turnbuckle squash; 1 1/2*'s
Ravishing Rick Rude came out to the ring and said cut the music. Rude says he'd like to have right now, is for all you fat, out of shape, Seattle grung rockers watch him leave this city as WME's first US Champ. Rude took off his robe and flexed and did his gyrations, as his opponent came out.
Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig said there's no way Rude would be leaving with the US title, because Hennig would make the perfect champion. When you talk about champions, you talk about a man who has it all, Mr. Perfect. Curt Hennig has muscle symmetry and the brains to be absolutely perfect.
Match Number Eight: (US Title Match)Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig versus "Ravishing" Rick Rude
Mr. Perfect charged at Rude, who moved out of the way then grabbed perfect and hit a RUDE AWAKENING.

Rude celebrated in the ring to a chorus of boos.
Match Number Nine: (World Title Match)Rob Van Dam versus Diamond Dallas Page
DDP was out classed quickly as RVD avoided a short arm clothesline and kicked Page in the face. While Page was down RVD hit a standing moonsault to become WME's first World Champ!
