Monday July 11th, 2011 Live From: BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise Florida 1st Hour: Monday Nitro opened with a shot of Commissioner Charlie Cox standing in the ring. He said that he had several issues stemming from last week that needed to be addressed. First off due to the double disqualification between the team of Rob Van Dam and Bryan Danielson and the team of the Television Champion Geza Kalman Jr. and United States Champion Eddie Osbourne, he had no choice but to abide by his earlier ruling that said if RVD and Danielson couldn’t beat Osbourne and Kalman Jr. then they wouldn’t be given any more shot at those two championships; so tonight because of that match reigning Television Champion Geza Kalman Jr. would be in action defending against D’Lo Brown. Secondly since the Heenan Family got involved last week in the match with Andre the Giant and Diamond Dallas page they were going to fined as a whole and he was going to present Bobby “the Brain” Heenan with amount later tonight on Nitro. Finally he said he had to address Sara Del Ray and her attack following the championship win by Cherry Bomb last week. As he finished a man wearing a suit came out to the ring. As the man got in the ring Charlie Cox asked him who he was. The man responded by saying he was sent to the arena as a representative of the WCW executive committee. He then informed Charlie Cox that his earlier rulings would stand, but due to a contractual clause Sara Del Ray couldn’t be suspended for her actions last week. He then said that if she violated the rules again then the Executive committee would have to review her contract. Charlie Cox then said that this was complete bullsh!t, and the Executive Committee was undermining his authority. The man said that if Charlie Cox had a problem then he could take it up with the Executive Committee behind closed doors. Before Charlie Cox left the ring he announced that tonight Sara Del Ray and her long time friend Daizee Haze would compete against the new Women’s Champion Cherry Bomb and her partner, the former champion Jennifer Blake. v Mike Fortune defeated Austin Aries via pinfall after connecting with a second Money Talks at the 5:43 mark of the match. Mike Fortune 2-0 10, Austin Aries 1-1 2Bill Apter was shown backstage where he introduced one of the men competing in the Elevation 12 tournament, Tyler Black. Black walked over and Apter asked him his thoughts on sitting at the bottom of the standings following the first week. Tyler responded by saying that last week he let his temper get the better of him and it cost him five points in the tournament. Tonight he was going to get those points back when he beats Eric Cairnie with the Phoenix Splash. Tyler then said that he thrives on being an underdog and tonight he will use that to win his match and get right back into the thick of Elevation 12 tournament. v Brent Albright defeated “Prince of Power” Lak Siddartha via submission after locking Lak Siddartha in the Crowbar twice in a row after dragging Lak back into the center of the ring at the 6:43 mark of the match. Brent Albright 1-1 5, Lak Siddartha 0-2 0Bill Apter was once again shown backstage where he was joined by the new Women’s Champion Cherry Bomb and the woman she beat last week for the title “Girl Dynamite” Jennifer Blake. Apter asked the two of them how they would be able to team together after the last few matches they have had against each other. Jennifer Blake responded by saying that the two of them have a long and rich history both on the same side as well as against each other and tonight would be just another night. Cherry Bomb agreed by saying that once their match against Sara Del Ray and Daizee Haze was over tonight the two of them would once again go their separate ways, as they both want to be the Women’s Champ. The two then the interview area in separate directions. v [ Brodie Lee defeated Jigsaw via pinfall after knocking Jigsaw out with a Big Boot at the 3:32 mark of the match. Brodie Lee 2-0 10, Jigsaw 0-2 0The Monday Nitro announce team was then shown at ringside, the first thing the three men speculated on was the condition of the WCW Cruiserweight Champion “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair, following the beat down he suffered last week. McMahon and Madden both agreed that it was probably the Kings of Wrestling that perpetuated the assault, but as of right now investigators have yet to find any footage from the arena last week that showcases the assault. They also said that the investigation was far from being closed. Schiavone then interrupted them and sent to the ring for the final Nitro match of the second round of the Elevation 12 tournament. v Tyler Black defeated “EZE” Eric Cairnie via pinfall after rolling through a top rope cross body block at the 19:43 mark of the match. Tyler Black 1-1 -3, Eric Cairnie 0-2 0 2nd Hour: Bill Apter was shown backstage where he introduced the man scheduled to take on the Television Champion Geza Kalman Jr. a little later in the show, D’Lo Brown. D’Lo walked into frame and asked him his thoughts on receiving the Television title shot. D’Lo responded by saying that tonight he was going to beat Geza and bring some respect back to the Television Championship. He then said that both Geza and Eddie Osbourne were being punks for forcing Cox to make a ruling that disallowed Bryan Danielson and Rob Van Dam from competing for either championship. He then closed out by saying that once he beats Geza tonight then next he would defend against either RVD or Bryan Danielson, which ever of the two stepped up first. & v & Cherry Bomb & “Girl Dynamite” Jennifer Blake defeated Sara Del Ray & Daizee Haze via pinfall when Jennifer Blake knocked Daizee Haze out with a super kick at the 19:43 mark of the match. Haze & Del Ray started off strong by cornering the champ in the ring for most of the early stages of the match. Cherry managed to make the hot tag to Jennifer Blake who dominated the final minutes before knocking Haze out. Following the match Jennifer Blake grabbed the Women’s title and held it for several minutes before handing it over to Cherry Bomb and raising the champ’s hand. Justin Credible was then shown making his way toward Charlie Cox office backstage. As he approached the door to Cox office Cox stepped out into the hallway. Credible stopped him and demanded to know why he hadn’t been given a match in the last several weeks on either Nitro or Saturday Night. Cox replied by saying there was only a finite amount of Television time and a lot talented men and women haven’t had at television match in awhile. Cox then said that if Credible was that desperate for a match then he should report to arena this Saturday Night for his next match. Cox then walked past Credible saying he had to go and help the investigators find any security tapes that hopefully show who attacked Chris Sinclair last week.(c) w/ v Geza Kalman Jr. (c) w/ Kevin Sullivan defeated D’Lo Brown via pinfall after knocking him out with the K.O. Punch at the 5:54 mark of the match to retain the championship. Bill Apter was once again shown backstage where he was joined by “Danger Boy” Derek Wylde. Apter asked Wylde if he had any thoughts on facing off against Chris Sinclair once again for the Cruiserweight Championship in the Main Event tonight. Wylde replied by saying that his series of matches with Sinclair have quickly become the highlights of his young career. He then said that he wasn’t going to hold anything back once again and bring his A game, cause that was what this series with of matches had taught him. He said that Sinclair has never once held anything back and neither would he. Wylde then said that if he only wrestled Sinclair every night of his career he would be one happy camper. Apter then asked him if had seen Sinclair in the building at all tonight. Wylde replied by saying that he hadn’t, but he was sure Sinclair would be there for their match, despite the attack he suffered last week. v British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) defeated H2K (Bill Stubbington & Nick Colley-Lussier) via pinfall after connecting with the Bulldog Toss at the 31:54 mark of the extremely competitive back and forth match between these two teams. “Crimson Dragon” Brett Johnson was shown sitting in his living room. He was shown wearing a WCW t-shirt and he had his leg sitting up on a foot stool directly in front of him. He thanked the fans for their continuing support throughout this recent injury. He said that while he had been out of action he’s been following the show and he first off wants to congratulate his fellow H2K member on adding to his record with two more Cruiserweight Championship reigns. Suddenly there was a loud crash off camera and Brett turned his attention toward the noise yelling that they shouldn’t be here. The Kings of Wrestling then stormed into frame and rapidly attacked Johnson with a pair of vicious shots. Before Johnson could recover and try to fight back Claudio grabbed a large clear glass lamp and smashed it over Johnson’s leg. Hero then held Johnson down while Claudio continued to punish the knee. After several minutes the two men left while Johnson was shown rolling around the floor in agony. MAIN EVENT:(c) v “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair (c) defeated “Danger Boy” Derek Wylde via pinfall after nailing the Original Destroyer at the 17:54 mark of the match to retain the championship. On this night the match was nearly completely dominated by Chris Sinclair. The two men had several rapid fire reversal chains in the match, but the crafty veteran seemed to nearly always come out on top of the exchanges. Wylde absorbed a tonne of punishment in the match, but couldn’t get anything going against the more determined champ.

Nora said that she was in no way looking past Xandra Bale tonight, but her ultimate goal is to get a shot at the Women’s Championship. Nora went on to say that she has fought too hard and too long not to be derailed by a young upstart, and if Xandra Bale didn’t bring her best tonight, then she was going to beat it out her. Nora then said that Cherry Bomb had better start looking over her back ‘cause every single woman on the roster was now gunning for her. Nora closed out the interview by saying that ultimately she was tired of being looked over for the influx of young talent that WCW was bringing in. v “Cold Blooded” Chris Garvin defeated Hayden Avery via pinfall after connecting with the Superstar Destroyer at the 9:54 mark of the match that saw Garvin kick out of the Drunk Driver, then make the comeback to pick up the victory. Xandra replied by saying that while she respects Nora for her past accolades she wasn’t going to be intimidated by a woman who can’t seem to get off her feet here in WCW. Xandra then said that while she has been busting her @$$ to earn a spot on the roster, Nora was handed one based solely on her who she was and what she has accomplished in the business, and tonight it was going to be an honour to make Nora tap out to the Bale Out in the center of the ring. v Nora Greenwald defeated Xandra Bale via count out after connecting with the Flipping Seated Senton onto Xandra while she was out on the ring floor at the 7:54 mark of the match. Hero informed Charlie Cox that he was wrong and the match is going to take place as planned. He then said that a minor clause in the contract for the match mentioned that they couldn’t attack an “Active Member of H2K” leading into the pay per view. He then said that since the “Amber Dragonling” is listed on the injured reserve roster they were acting within their legal right by making sure the “Amber Dragonling” stays there. Hero then closed out by saying another clause in the contract was that if any member of H2K tried to get back at them before the pay per view, that individual would be fired on the spot. McMahon said that if wasn’t for the information age the Kings probably wouldn’t have even known where Johnson lived. Madden then sent to the ring for the next match in the Elevation 12 Tournament. v Austin Aries defeated “Prince of Power” Lak Siddartha via pinfall after nailing Lak with the Heat-Seeking Missile at the 25:54 mark of the extremely back and forth match. The three men said it was an outrage that the Kings of Wrestling were basically getting away with breaking into Brett Johnson’s house and assaulting him with a weapon. Stubbington then asked Sinclair if he had any idea who attacked him two weeks ago. Sinclair responded by saying he had no idea, but he had a sneaky suspicion that the Kings of Wrestling were behind it, and if he ever found out he would make them pay. Nick then said that they should just wait to get their hands on the Kings at the pay per view, and once they have them in the ring they should work quickly to eliminate them before moving on to bigger and better things. Stubbington and Sinclair agreed as the scene faded out. v [ Jigsaw defeated Brent Albright via pinfall after connecting with a second Jig ‘N’ Tonic at the 6:43 mark of the match that he nearly completely dominated from the opening bell. Daizee Haze closed out the segment by asking Del Ray if she meant one of them. Del Ray just shook her head which allowed Cherry to begin backing away. v Mike Fortune defeated “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce via disqualification when Pearce nailed him with the ring bell while the two men were brawling outside of the ring at the 8:43 mark of the match. Credible held his Singapore Cane up to Cox’ neck and said that Cox had #@*ked with him for the last time. He said he showed up at the Arena for last weekend’s Saturday Night and he still didn’t have a match. Cox tried speaking, but Credible cut him off. He said that if WCW wasn’t going to give him any TV matches then he would just leave for ECW where his talent would be appreciated.
