Here is a brief history of the NEW WCW. The fed was official started in November of 2010, with the first show taking place December 6th, 2010 at the famous home of the original WCW, the Georgia Dome in Atlanta Georgia. The first two Nitro's will exclusively feature matches from the 64 man tournament to crown the first WCW World Heavyweight Champion of the new WCW. Also starting in January WCW will be bringing back a great WCW tradition with WCW Saturday Night, an hour long program that will feature the younger talent of the new WCW. Our third Nitro will kick off the tournament to crown the new WCW Tag Team Champions, the tournament will feature an awe inspiring 32 teams, and should wrap up just in time for our March PPV. The WCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament will finish up at our first WCW PPV, the new January Tradition Clash of the Champions

Monday December 6th, 2010 Live From: Georgia Dome in Atlanta Georgia 1st Hour: WCW Nitro opens with a shot of long time WCW Announcer Tony Schiavone and his new broadcast partner, former RCW Announcer “Enforcer” Bill Stubbington. The two men welcome fans back to Monday Nitro and Schiavone promises this to be the biggest night in Professional Wrestling History.Jerry Lynn defeated Rob Van Dam via disqualification when RVD was disqualified for hitting Lynn with a Van Daminator at the 1:08 mark of the match. Following the match Lynn tried offering a hand shake to RVD how just walked past him and up the entrance rampFrank Gotch defeated S.D. Jones via submission after locking S.D. in the Gotch Toehold at the 7:48 second mark of the match “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair was shown arriving at the arena, as he was walking in he was greeted by his long time friend and rival the “Crimson Dragon” Brett Johnson, as the two shook hands Schiavone acknowledged their history with Bill Stubbington as members of H2K. Bill then told Schiavone that days of H2K are well in the past and he doubts Sinclair and Johnson will reform that team here.Danny Hodge defeated Diamond Dallas Page via pinfall after nailing Page with a running spear at the 5:25 mark of the match Nick Bockwinkel was then shown in his dressing room and Bobby “the Brain” Heenan walked in and two shared some quick strategies for Bockwinkel’s upcoming match against George SouthNick Bockwinkel defeated George South via submission after locking South in the Figure Four Leglock, despite South trying to start the match strong Bockwinkel easily defeated him at the 3:52 mark of the match. Following the match Bill Apter interviewed Bockwinkel who promised he would the tournament and give WCW a Champion it could be truly proud of.2nd Hour: The second hour of Nitro comes back from commercial break and shows several highlights from the first hour of action before going to the next match.“American Dragon” Bryan Danielson defeated Killer Kowalski via disqualification when Kowalski was disqualified for nailing Danielson with a steel chair during a brawl on the outside of the ring at the 11:28 mark of the match The Road Warriors and Paul Ellering were then shown backstage and Ellering promised that the Road Warriors have come back to WCW for one reason only....to leave a path of destruction as they prove to the world that they are the greatest tag team on the planet.George “the Animal” Steele defeated Angelo Mosca via submission after locking Mosca in the Flying Hammerlock. The two men brawled all over the ring and ringside area before Steele shocked Mosca with the Flying Hammerlock at the 13:58 mark of the match Schiavone and Stubbington are then shown at ringside where they announce that the Women of WCW will be debuting in three weeks with several qualifying matches for the WCW Women's Championship TournamentRikidozan defeated Chris Candido via pinfall after nailing Candido with a piledriver at the 7:13 mark of the match. Candido started strong, but Rikidozan proved too resilient for Candido Following the match Chris Sinclair & Brett Johnson were shown giving Charles Seguin a pep talk backstage“Ravishing” Rick Rude defeated Red Bastion via pinfall after connecting with a second Rude Awakening of the match that nearly hit the 20 minute time limit. The match ended at the 19:45 mark. 3rd Hour: Coming back from commercial break, the third and final hour of Nitro opens with Schiavone and Stubbington hyping tonight’s main event of Antonio Rocco against the One Man Gang.Sabu defeated “Vigilante” Charles Seguin via pinfall after connecting with the Triple Jump Moonsault at the 5:02 mark of the match The show then cuts to a pre-taped segment by Jim Cornette that airs on the Jumbo Tron. Cornette promises that once the tournaments were over he’d be making a major impact on WCW. He also promised that fans haven’t seen anything yet and that he has several surprises in store for both the fans and the WCW locker room.Greg “the Hammer” Valentine defeated Jushin “Thunder” Liger via submission after locking Liger in the Figure Four Leg Lock at the 9:37 mark of the match. The show then cuts to a vignette featuring Mr. Fuji & Don Muraco training for the Tag Team Championship tournament. After several moments of training montages Fuji turns to the camera and tells the world he and Muraco are ready to win it all.Magnum T.A. defeated “Cowboy” Bob Orton via submission after locking Orton in an abdominal stretch at the 9:46 mark of the match Before the Main Event Schiavone and Stubbington quickly run down the action of the evening and hype the next show that will take place in Toronto Ontario and feature a main event of King Kong Bundy against “The Solid Man” William MuldoonMAIN EVENT:Antonio “Argentina” Rocca defeated One Man Gang via pinfall after connecting with the Argentina Backbreaker at the 19:57 mark of the match. Antonio Rocca weathered a vicious beating by the One Man Gang to win the match almost immediately following the match the first Nitro went off the air.

Monday December 13th, 2010 Live From: Air Canada Center in Toronto Ontario 1st Hour: Nitro opens with a video package highlighting the action from last week’s main event between Antonio Rocca and the One Man Gang, as the package ends the camera shows Tony Schiavone and Bill Stubbington sitting at ringside. Schiavone welcomes fan to Monday Nitro. He and Bill then quickly run down all the action from last week then the two hype the matches coming up tonight as a continuation of the World Championship Tournament before going to the action in the ring.Mike Fortune: Hitman for Hire defeated the Iron Sheik via disqualification when the Iron Sheik was disqualified for nailing Mike Fortune with the ring bell outside of the ring at the 10:27 mark of the match Following the match, “The CEO” Richard Livingstone was shown arriving in at the arena with Tammy Lynn Sytch & Chris Candido, Tony Schiavone speculated as to their alliance, but Bill said that Candido and Sytch were probably too cheap to get a rental car and they probably hitched a ride with LivingstoneHarley Race defeated “The Belgian Brawler” DuPae Rupa via pinfall after nailing him with a swinging neckbreaker at the 4:22 mark of the match Following the match Harley Race grabbed a house mic and demanded that in the next round he be given some real competition. If not then his opponent and the WCW executive committee would not be happy with what he was going to do nextKonnan defeated The Mountie via submission after locking the Mountie in the Tequila Sunrise at the 3:38 mark of the match After the match the Fabulous Kangaroos and the Sheepherders were shown backstage. Each team claimed that they would win the Tag Team Tournament and the encounter quickly degenerated into a brawl, which was separated by backstage officials and security“Impact” Eddie Osbourne defeated “King of the Old School” Steve Corino via submission after locking Corino in a Texas Cloverleaf at the 7:37 mark of the match As Eddie was celebrating his victory Corino blasted Osbourne with a steel chair to the back. Corino then left Eddie lying on the mat as he slowly made his way up the entrance ramp with a sadistic smile on his face2nd Hour: The second hour opened with a video package hyping the WCW arrival of Nora Greenwald, which is scheduled to take place in three weeks time. After the video package Tony Schiavone and Bill Stubbington quickly ran down the highlights of the first hour of action.“Crimson Dragon” Brett Johnson defeated Val Venis via pinfall after nailing Venis with the Judgment at the 12:45 mark. The early stages of the match saw both men countering almost everything their opponent was tossing the others way. Following the match Chris Sinclair was shown backstage preparing for his upcoming match, when Charles Seguin came into his locker room and wished him the best of luck.Ed “Strangler” Lewis defeated Ox Baker via submission after catching Baker in the Stranglers Headlock at the 6:23 mark of the match. Lewis survived a Heart Punch on his way to victory in the match. Jazz was then shown on the Jumbo Tron hyping her arrival which is scheduled to take place in four weeks. Following Jazz’s appearance April Hunter was shown backstage talking to her trainer Killer Kowalski. Kowalski told April to make him proud and become the first WCW Women’s ChampionBobo Brazil defeated Fritz Von Goering via pinfall after blasting Goering with back to back Coco Butts at the 2:45 mark of the match. Following the match Von Goering started trashing the ringside area in frustration. He was finally stopped by security who escorted him to the back. Before the next match “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair was shown making his way to the ring, as was Adrian Street.“Pure Original” Chris Sinclair defeated “Exotic” Adrian Street via pinfall when he shocked Adrian Street with the Original Neckbreaker at the 2:45 mark of the match. Tony Schiavone and Bill Stubbington were then shown at ringside and the two men quickly ran down a recap of the show so far and they hyped the night’s main event between William Muldoon and King Kong Bundy. Schiavone then reminded fans that next week the Tag Team Tournament would begin on Nitro3rd Hour: The final hour of Nitro opened up with a video package hyping the WCW arrival of London & Kendrick. The two men then appeared backstage and claimed that they would set another modern reign as the first WCW Tag Team Champions once they have won the Tag Team TournamentAntonio Inoki defeated Tiger Mask via submission after catching Mask in the Octopus Hold following a fast paced hard hitting match between the two men at the 4:27 mark of the match. After the match the two shook hands and left the ring together. Schiavone was then shown making comments about much respect exists between the two Japanese Icons, which Bill agreed with. Bill then hyped the next match between Larry Zbyzsko and Giant BabaLarry Zbyzsko defeated Giant Baba via count out after nailing Baba with a Piledriver on the floor which knocked the big man out cold at the 15:37 mark of the match Bill Apter was then shown standing on the entrance ramp where he interviewed Bobby “the Brain” Heenan who promised that he had big things in store of the Heenan Family and WCW as a whole.George Hackenschmidt defeated Mister X via submission after catching Mister X in the Russian Bear Hug at the 3:49 mark of the match. Tony Schiavone and Bill Stubbington are shown once again at ring side were they take the advantage of the air time to give the main event one final hype. Bill even presents the tale of the tape on the two men. Following the tale of the tape Schiavone then hypes next week’s show.MAIN EVENT:“Solid Man” William Muldoon defeated King Kong Bundy via submission after locking Bundy in a double shoulder lock at the 10:27 mark of the match. For most of the match Bundy dominated the smaller man, but Muldoon was able to make a quick counter to get the win. After the match Schiavone promised that next week’s Nitro will once again be the biggest ticket in town.

Monday December 20th, 2010 Live From: HSBC Arena in Buffalo NY 1st Hour: Monday Nitro opens with a recap of the action from the last two shows before switching to a shot of Tony Schiavone and Bill Stubbington sitting at ring side. Schiavone opens the show welcoming fans to Monday Nitro. Schiavone reminds fans that tonight will feature the final 8 matches of the first round of the WCW World Championship Tournament. Bill then mentions that tonight will also feature the first 4 matches of the Tag Team Championship tournament. D’Lo Brown defeated the Sheik via pinfall after connecting with the Lo Down at the 9:25 mark of the match. Following the match Chris Candido and Tammy Lynn Sytch were shown backstage. Candido and Sytch discussed her match scheduled in two weeks as part of the Women’s Championship TournamentRoad Warriors (Hawk & Animal) defeated the paring of George South & Mister X via pinfall when Animal nailed Mister X with a Powerslam and George South refused to make the save at the 3:36 mark of the match. At one point George South registered a near fall on Animal, but the Road Warrior was too powerful to keep down. Following the match, the Sheepherders were shown arriving to the arena. They vowed to the camera that they were going to get revenge on the Fabulous Kangaroos for their blindside attack from a week earlier.“Superfly” Jimmy Snuka defeated Nigel McGuinness via pinfall after connecting with the Superfly Splash at the 15:25 mark of the match. Immediately following the match Nigel McGuinness went berserk and attacked Jimmy Snuka with a steel chair. The assault was finally stopped by WCW officials and security. The show then cuts to backstage shot of RVD & Sabu going over their strategy for their upcoming match against the Valiant BrothersThe Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny Valiant) defeated RVD & Sabu via disqualification when Jerry Lynn stormed the ring and blasted both Valiant Brothers with a steel chair. He then chased RVD off as Sabu stood on the apron stunned 2nd Hour: The second hour of Nitro begins with a backstage shot of RVD running down the halls being chased by Jerry Lynn. Lynn is finally stopped by WCW officials and security that allows RVD to fully make his escape. “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase defeated Koko B Ware via submission after locking Koko B Ware in the Million Dollar Sleeper at the 11:37 mark of the match. Tony Schiavone and Bill Stubbington are then shown sitting at ringside were they announce the four women who don’t have to qualify for the Women’s Championship, they are Nora Greenwald, Jazz, Ida Mae Martinez and Sensational Sherri Martel. The tournament is scheduled to begin on the next week episode of Nitro and continue on the debut of WCW Saturday Night“The CEO” Richard Livingstone defeated “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan via pinfall at the 2:11 mark of the match after stunning Duggan with a diving powerbomb Following the match the match the CEO grabbed the house mic and went informed the crowd in Buffalo that he’d not only win the whole tournament but he would then remake WCW in his image of success. As Livingstone was ranting Diamond Dallas Page appeared at the entrance way and told the CEO that if he wanted to remake WCW in his image he’d have to go through DDP and feel the BANG!!Fuji Vice (Mr Fuji & Don Muraco) defeated the Hennigs (Curt & Larry Hennig) via pinfall when Don Muraco nailed Larry Hennig with the Asiatic Spike at the 17:47 mark of the match. For most of the match Fuji Vice was in complete control which allowed them to cut the ring off and wear down both men. Super Crazy defeated the “Overnight Male” Andrew Radke via disqualification following a brawl outside the ring that saw Radke nail Super Crazy with a sledgehammer from under the ring at the 12:04 mark of the match. Following the disqualification Overnight and Super Crazy continued to brawl and the brawl came to an end when Radke set up a table and powerbombed Crazy through it Following the brawl Bill Apter stopped Radke at the entrance way. When asked why he attacked Super Crazy after the match all Radke said was that he was making a statement at Super Crazy’s expense.3rd Hour: The third hour of the show opened up with Phantasy arriving at the arena, she was followed through the backstage area and was shown knocking on Rick Rude’s dressing room door. Before Rude can answer she walks in and closes the door behind her.Johnny Valentine defeated Yukon Eric via pinfall after connecting with the Atomic Skullcrusher at the 16:54 mark of the match. During the match the two men brawled all over the ringside area with momentum going back and forth Before the next match Jim Cornette was shown walking backstage toward the entrance way with the Midnight Express when the three were stopped by WCW officials and security. Cornette was then informed that because the next match was a Tag Team Championship Tournament match he wouldn’t be allowed at ringside. After arguing for several moments with the officials Cornette was escorted away while Eaton and Condrey continued to make their way to the ring.Midnight Express (Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey) defeated S.D. Jones & DuPae Rupa via pinfall after nailing DuPae Rupa with the Rocket Launcher at the 3:35 mark of the match. Despite a strong start by DuPae Rupa that had Bobby Eaton on the ropes before he made the tag to Dennis Condrey, the Midnight Express made short work of their opponents even with Jim Cornette banned from ringside Before the next match Dan Severn was shown stretching backstage in preparation for his upcoming match with the Sandman. The Sandman was then shown walking away from the concession stand with a beer in hand. Schiavone promised fans that the next match would set the bar for matches here tonight.The Sandman defeated Dan “the Beast” Severn via pinfall after blasting Severn with the Singapore Cane behind the refs back at the 12:48 mark of the match. The match to that point had been a great back and forth clinic between the two men Before the main event Schiavone and Stubbington were shown at ringside. Schiavone then reminded fans about next week’s show and informed fans that the Main Event even though it had yet to be decided would be a blockbuster of a main event making the show a can’t miss show for all the fans of WCW.MAIN EVENT:Don Leo Jonathan defeated “Superstar” Bill Dundee via pinfall after nailing Dundee with the Mormon Swing at the 5:15 mark of the match. Following the match Tony Schiavone informed fans that he had just learned that next main event next week would be Harley Race against Bobo Brazil as Nitro went off the air

Road Warriors v Mr. X & George South Can you imagine the ramifications of an upset victory here? In the World Heavyweight Championship tournament I'm pulling for "Mutton Chops" Don Leo Jonathan.The entire second round lineup is incredible.
