Monday January 24th, 2011 Live From: United Center in Chicago Illinois 1st Hour: Nitro opened with a video package highlighting the action from last week’s WCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament matches. Then the show cut to the Monday Nitro Announce team sitting at ringside. Tony Schiavone, Bill Stubbington & Bobby “the Brain” Heenan then set up the nights action featuring the WCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Semi-Finals matches between Nick Bockwinkel against Antonio “Argentina” Rocca and Harley Race against “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair in the Main Event of the evening. They also ran down the remaining matches for the first round of the WCW United States Championship Tournament which would be wrapping up here tonight. Schiavone also reminded fans that Bill Apter would be interviewing Nora Greenwald & Ida Mae Martinez who would be wrestling each other this Sunday at the Clash of the Champions for the WCW Women’s Championship.“King of the Old School” Steve Corino defeated “Exotic” Adrian Street via disqualification at the 18:49 mark of the match when Adrian Street was disqualified for hitting Corino with a steel chair outside of the ring while the two men were brawling. The Disqualification seemed to come when Street became frustrated when he couldn’t put Corino away no matter what he tried. After the match the Nitro announce team was shown and the three men reminded fans to tune into WCW Saturday Night this weekend as the remaining four second round matches in the Tag Team Tournament would be wrapping up. They also recapped the action from this past WCW Saturday Night that held four matches of the United States Championship.Yukon Eric defeated the Sheik via disqualification when the Sheik was disqualified for tossing a fireball in Yukon Eric’s face at the 3:23 mark of the match while both men were brawling outside of the ring. Bill Apter was then shown backstage where he brought his guest, “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair. Apter talked to Chris about his upcoming match with the man who eliminated his friend “Crimson Dragon” Brett Johnson last week, Harley Race. Chris said that while Harley Race is a great wrestler, he wasn’t looking past him tonight to the next match. Chris congratulated Race on beating Johnson last week, and said that even though he and Johnson were close friends their wrestling styles are completely different. As he closed out the interview Chris promised fans that tonight’s main event would be one the true great matches of this generation.Dan “the Beast” Severn defeated Nigel McGuinness via submission after locking McGuinness in the Wakigatame at the 5:34 mark of the match Bill Apter was once again shown backstage where he brought out his guest Antonio “Argentina” Rocca who promised fans that he would not only win tonight but he would beat whoever won the match between Harley Race & Chris Sinclair. Rocca then told fans that once he became the WCW World Champion he would become a champion that the fans could truly respect and he would become a true people’s champion and would be at their beck and call if they ever needed him.Fuji Vice (Mr. Fuji & Don Muraco) defeated Frank Gotch & George Hackenschmidt via pinfall after Muraco nailed Gotch with the Hawaiian Hammer at the 13:34 mark of the match. For the better part of the match Fuji Vice had the ring cut completely off on Hackenschmidt, when he finally managed to make the tag to Gotch, Gotch briefly reversed the momentum of the match before Fuji Vice went back on the offensive and got the win 2nd Hour: The second hour of Monday Nitro opened once again with Bill Apter backstage. This time he welcomed Ida Mae Martinez & Nora Greenwald, Apter was shown holding two dog collars attached together by a steel chain. When asked what they thought about the upcoming Dog Collar match for the Women’s Championship. Both Women said that they wouldn’t let the fans down and they would not hold anything back when it came to the match. Nora then said that since Commissioner Charlie Cox and the fans wanted a winner they would get one at the Clash of the Champions. Ida then told Nora that she better be bringing her A game if she wanted to walk out of the Clash with the Women’s Championship before walking off. Apter then asked Nora if she had anything else to add, but Nora just turned and walked away as well.“Overnight Male” Andrew Radke defeated the Mountie via pinfall after coming off the top rope with a picture perfect cross body block at the 11:12 mark of the match. The back and forth match saw both men register several near falls on the other before the finish. Following the match Phantasy came to the ring and congratulated the Overnight Male on his win, after giving Radke a passionate kiss Phantasy grabbed the house mic and told the fans that her night was just getting started she then introduced Val Venis for the next match before joining the commentary team.Val Venis defeated Jushin “Thunder” Liger via submission after locking Liger in the reverse figure four at the 6:45 mark of the match. Immediately following the match Phantasy gave Venis the same reward Radke had earned earlier before the show went to commercial. As the show came back from commercial Bill Apter was once again shown back stage and this time he brought out Nick Bockwinkel. Apter asked Bockwinkel his thoughts on his match tonight and Bockwinkel then grabbed the mic shooing Apter away before saying that tonight he was going to humiliate Rocca before making him tap out and then he was going to do the same to whatever loser won in the main event later tonight before walking off. Heenan then commented that Bockwinkel was the greatest wrestler alive and in the WCW today.Giant Baba defeated “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan via disqualification when Duggan nailed Baba with his 2x4 at the 9:23 mark of the match. Following the match Duggan nailed Baba once again before leaving the ringside area Following the match Fuji Vice was shown backstage where Mr Fuji was shown congratulating Muraco on being part of another great victory on their way to becoming the new WCW Tag Team Champions. Fuji then told Muraco that their training was now going to increase as they get closer to their goal.Antonio “Argentina” Rocca defeated Nick Bockwinkel via pinfall when he shocked Bockwinkel with a sunset flip at the 5:45 mark of the match leading up to the pinfall Bockwinkel completely dominated Rocca. After the match Rocca quickly left the stunned Bockwinkel in the ring as he celebrated his win outside of the ring. Heenan who was also stunned began demanding that match be restarted with a new referee, but Schiavone said that Bockwinkel lost fair and square before the show once again went to commercial 3rd Hour: The third hour of Nitro opened with a shot of Commissioner Charlie Cox sitting in his office. Cox then informed the fans that at the Clash of the Champions the WCW Television Championship tournament would begin. He also told fans that the finals for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship would be contested inside a steel cage. Finally he said that Nick Bockwinkel would face the loser of the Harley Race, Chris Sinclair match in a number one contenders Falls Count Anywhere match. Cox then told the fans to enjoy the third hour of Nitro as the best matches of the night had yet to come.One Man Gang defeated Chris Candido via pinfall after connecting with the 747 Splash at the 14:54 mark of the match. The back and forth match saw Candido attempt the Blonde Bomb twice, but the Once Man Gang was too powerful for Candido to pull the move off. Bill Apter was once again shown backstage this time he introduced Harley Race who said that just like last week this week he was going to humiliate one of Canada’s most famous BFF’s, Chris Sinclair. Race then said that once he destroys Sinclair like he did Johnson last week he was going to Clash of Champions were he would complete his winning ways and become the new WCW World Heavyweight ChampionRed Bastion defeated “Vigilante” Charles Seguin via disqualification at the 1:23 mark of the match when the Vigilante was disqualified for ignoring the referees warnings while brawling with Bastion on the outside of the ring. Following the match Charles Seguin grabbed the house mic and demanded that Commissioner Cox put him a match this Sunday where he could finally prove to the entire WCW that he belonged with the company. Cox came out and agreed, with one condition. If the Vigilante lost at the Clash of the Champions against Charlie’s handpicked opponent then he would immediately lose his job with WCW. Seguin quickly agreed and asked who his opponent would be. Cox replied by saying that he would have to wait until the Clash, like all the fans to find out before leaving the entrance way.Valiant Brothers (Jimmy & Johnny) defeated the Valentines (Greg & Johnny) by pinfall after completely dominating Johnny Valentine and hitting him with a forth Top Rope Elbow of the match at the 7:23 mark of the match. The Valiant’s were so dominating that they didn’t even allow Greg Valentine into the match. Following the match the WCW announce team ran down the evening’s action before they started hyping the main event. They reminded fans that the next match would determine the main event at the Clash of the Champions this coming Sunday on Pay Per View and live from Rogers Arena in Vancouver British Columbia. Bill Stubbing then presented the tail of the tape on the two men involved in the main event before the show went to commercialMAIN EVENT:“Pure Original” Chris Sinclair defeated Harley Race via pinfall at the 8:23 mark of the match when he caught Harley Race with a spine buster. As Sinclair was celebrating his victory Race came up behind him and nailed him with several brutal shots before nailing him with a Piledriver that left him lying on the mat as the show went to black

Saturday January 29th, 2011 Live from Sleeman Center in Guelph Ontario WCW Saturday Night opened with Mark Madden & “Enforcer” Bill Stubbington standing in front of the WCW Saturday Night Backdrop. The two men recapped the semi-final matches of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship Tournament that were contested on Monday Nitro. They then recapped the action so far in the second round of the WCW Tag Team Championship tournament before running down the matches scheduled for this evenings show.Hillbilly Jim & Cousin Luke defeated the Mountie & One Man Gang via disqualification when the Mountie used his Shock Stick on Hillbilly Jim on the outside of the ring at the 5:34 mark of the match. The WCW Saturday Night Announce team of Bill Stubbington & Mark Madden were then shown in front of the WCW Saturday Night Backdrop. The two men then announced the line up for tomorrow night’s Clash of the Champions. Including the eight matches in the first round of the WCW Television Championship, they also speculated on who Commissioner Charlie Cox was going to find to face Charles Seguin in his match up.Magnum T.A. & Jim Duggan defeated Masked Superstars (I & II) via disqualification at the 18:49 mark of the match when Masked Superstar I was caught using Duggan’s 2x4 against him outside of the ring. Following the match a video package was shown highlighting the action of the of the entire Women’s Championship leading to finals between Ida Mae Martinez & Nora Greenwald that is taking place tomorrow night at the Clash of the ChampionsRoad Warriors (Hawk & Animal) defeated Tiger Mask & Jushin Liger via pinfall when Hawk stunned Liger with a vertical suplex at the 9:34 mark of the match Before the main event Bill Stubbington & Mark Madden were shown once again standing in front of the WCW Saturday Night backdrop were they once again ran down the line up for tomorrow night’s Clash of the Champions. They then recapped the action from tonight before then went back to the ring for the main event.MAIN EVENT:Rikidozan & Giant Baba defeated the Fabulous Kangaroos (Al Costello & Roy Heffernan) via pinfall when Rikidozan knock Al Costello out after hitting him with the Thunderous Chops at the 9:25 mark of the match. After several fast paced moments of back and forth action, Rikidozan completely dominated the remainder of the match

Sunday January 30th, 2011 Live from the Rogers Arena in Vancouver British Columbia The Clash of the Champions opened with Tony Schiavone, “Enforcer” Bill Stubbington & Bobby “the Brain” Heenan sitting at ringside. The three men welcomed fans to the new WCW’s First ever Pay Per View. Schiavone promised fans that not only would tonight crown two new champions in WCW’s long and illustrious history it was also promising to become the biggest night in professional wrestling history. The three men then quickly recapped the World Title Semi-Finals match ups from this past Nitro. They also reminded fans about the fallout matches tonight. Up first would be the number one contenders match between Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel, then in the evening’s main event Antonio “Argentina” Rocca & “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair would face off to crown the new WCW World Heavyweight Champion. They then informed fans that most of the matches scheduled tonight were part of the first round of the WCW Television Championship Tournament before going to the ring for the opening contest.Greg “the Hammer” Valentine defeated Super Crazy via disqualification at the 14:12 mark of the match when Super Crazy was disqualified for repeatedly bashing Valentine’s head off the steel barricade at ringside. The back and forth match saw both men counter nearly everything the other man tossed their way. Following the match Antonio “Argentina” Rocca was shown arriving in the arena. When stopped by the camera crew and asked about his match tonight, Rocca simply stated that he and Chris Sinclair were going to tear the house down and that the better man would find himself the WCW World Heavyweight Champion on this night.“Ravishing” Rick Rude defeated George “the Animal” Steele via pinfall at the 3:23 mark of the match when he caught the Animal with the Rude Awakening Following the match Phantasy appeared with the other two members of Ladies Choice and she congratulated Rick Rude on his win here tonight. She then said that the first man in Ladies Choice to bring her a championship belt would be given a private celebration the likes of which they couldn’t even imagine the four then left the ring together.Ed “Strangler” Lewis defeated Danny Hodge via submission at the 15:23 mark of the match after constantly wearing Hodge down with the Strangler’s Headlock Following the match the WCW Announce team were shown at ringside. The three men then recapped the action so far on the before the shot went backstage to show Ted DiBiase and Bryan Danielson making their way to the ring.“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase defeated “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson via pinfall at the 8:45 mark of the match when he stunned Danielson with a backward elbow off the ropes. Before the next match a video package was shown recapping all the action of the Women’s Championship Tournament and the comments each both women had made leading to tonight’s match.DOG COLLAR MATCHIda Mae Martinez defeated Nora Greenwald via submission after locking Nora in the Texas Cloverleaf at the 8:45 mark of the match to become the NEW WCW WOMEN’S CHAMPION!!! After the match Tammy Lynn Sytch was shown walking backstage, when she walked up to a door marked Richard Livingstone. She knocked on the door and quickly entered closing the door behind her keeping the camera out.Larry Zbyzsko defeated Bobo Brazil via pinfall after nailing Brazil with the Piledriver at the 11:12 mark of the match. Bobo Brazil started strong, but Zbyzsko was able to change the momentum around and then began to slowly wear Brazil down before nailing him with the Piledriver. “Vigilante” Charles Seguin was then shown walking into Commissioner Charlie Cox’s office. When he asked the Commissioner who his opponent was he was told by Charlie that his match was up next and he should go to the ring. As Charles music started up he was shown walking thru the backstage corridor leading to the entrance way. He slowly made his way to the ring and then turned around to find out who his opponent would be. The Mountie’s Tron video and music then started up as the Mountie came out and made his way to the ring. The announcer used the time it took the Mountie to make it to the ring to remind fans of the rivalry the two men had back in Royal City Wrestling.“Vigilante” Charles Seguin defeated the Mountie via disqualification at the 2:23 mark of the match when the Mountie nailed Seguin with the Shock Stick. As Charles was recovering from the surprise attack by the Mountie, Commissioner Charlie Cox appeared at the top of the entrance way. He congratulated the Vigilante on his technical win. He then said that he would give Charles Seguin a chance to earn the first shot at the United States Champion once the tournament was over if he could beat the man Cox had prepared for him to face at WCW Saturday Night next weekend. Before Seguin could recover enough to respond Cox simply walked away.Tammy Lynn Sytch was then shown coming out of Richard Livingstone’s dressing room. She was smiling ear to ear and covering her hands. As she was walking backstage she ran into Chris Candido the two embraced then quietly walked away together."Impact"Eddie Osbourne defeated the Sandman via disqualification at the 4:45 mark of the match when the Sandman nailed him with the Singapore Cane. Following the match the Sandman continued to take his frustrations out on Osbourne until security came out and managed to get him to back off. Osbourne was then carried from the ring on a stretcher. “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair & “Crimson Dragon” Brett Johnson were then shown standing at the craft services table together. The two men started talking about the upcoming main event match for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. When Brett asked Chris his plans all Chris said was that he was going to win the tournament and do something he had yet to do in career and that was win a major World Heavyweight Championship. Brett then wished Chris the best of luck as the show went back out to the arena.“The Solid Man” William Muldoon defeated D’Lo Brown via submission after clamping the bear hug on D’Lo Brown at the 17:40 mark of the match. Until the bear hug was applied D’Lo Brown had withstood every single attempt by William Muldoon to win the match. Following the match Richard Livingstone was shown walking to the ring. He was stopped by Bill Apter who asked him what had transpired between him and Tammy Lynn Sytch. Richard told Apter that he would make a formal announcement tomorrow night on Monday Nitro, before walking past him and heading out to the ring for his match.Mike Fortune: Hitman for Hire defeated “The CEO” Richard Livingstone via submission after locking him in the Hangman at the 4:23 mark of the match. A vignette was then shown on the Jumbo Tron once again showcasing the training methods Mr. Fuji was putting Don Muraco thru as the two men prepared for their upcoming WCW Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarter Final match up scheduled against the Valiant Brothers.FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE #1 CONTENDER’S MATCHNick Bockwinkel defeated Harley Race via submission in the parking lot when he managed to lock Race in the Bockwinkel sleeper. The two men brawled all over the arena before Bockwinkel got the win. As the Steel Cage was being lowered Commissioner Charlie Cox was shown walking out to the arena with a black felt bag. As he approached the ring he climbed in and pulled out the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. He then got on the house mic and thanked the fans for continuing to tune into Monday Nitro and WCW Saturday Night as the numbers they were pulling in were unbelievable for the short time they had been back in business. He also thanked the locker room for presenting one of the most intriguing tournaments that professional wrestling had ever witnessed. He then introduced the two men who would now compete for the richest prize in the entire WCW.MAIN EVENT:CAGE MATCHAntonio “Argentina” Rocca defeated “Pure Original” Chris Sinclair via cage escape at the 55:45 mark of the match to become the NEW WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!! In a match that saw both men exit the cage as bloody messes and barely able to stand. After the match as Commissioner Charlie Cox was presenting Antonio Rocca with the belt Chris Sinclair managed to get to his feet and then he offered to shake Rocca’s hand. Rocca accepted as the fans stood on their feet cheering both men’s ability and tenacity on this night.

Hillbilly Jim & Cousin Luke v The Love Brothers The Valiant Brothers v Fuji Vice The quarter final matches will take place over the next two weeks on Monday Nitro

I like this!!! I was always a fan of the old WCW, and miss it greatly. I have toyed around with starting a WCW fed using the legends cards (actually started a thread here for it too) but neve really got it going. Keep up the great work! I'll be following along. Would LOVE to see DDP (one of my all time favs) mare a run here! PS - Im Canadian too!

PS - Im Canadian too! Where abouts in Canada do you hail? I'm sure DDP will find a massive push as the n.W.o. gets set to make it's debut sometime in the new year. My version of the n.W.o. will include the Legends of of the Future plus the actual n.W.o. members that are in the game. (Vigil, Bagwell, Beefcake, Ted DiBiase, Konnan, etc). Wait til you see who will be playing the Outsiders roll
