Started my new fed, the American Wrestling Alliance (AWA), wanted to use the initials AWA because my first taste of pro wrestling was watching the AWA with my dad. Anyways back to the point . I wonder if this new fed was a bad idea. I have my Round 1 completed of the AWA Heavyweight Title tournament completed, and I was shocked by the results. I guess to me there was just a ton of upsets, almost every guy that I thought was going to be one of the finalists for the belt lost in the first round. Or maybe the upsets weren't all that big, and I am shocked for no reason. Is this a bad omen for starting a new fed, getting a ton of upsets in the inaugural AWA Heavyweight Title tourney? I am having a tough time seeing the "positives" in this one. Take a gander at "King Promotions Presents the AWA", and let me know what you think............

Nope, just the idea that "anything can happen in the world of professional dice generated wrestling".
Just go with it. You have plenty of possibilities to further feuds as the favorites try to get back at the spoilers.

I agree, just go with it. My first ever Champon was Gorgeous George

I would roll with the results as the rematches should be heated to get back at the upsets...
If you really want to exert promoter creative control, maybe have the rules committee reverse one of the decisions (only one) if you are really dissatisfied. However, I would stick with it as sometimes it provides an opportunity to use different talent while cooling off someone else.

I would go with it, it's the suprise element that makes the game interesting. If you knew who was going to win it wouldn't be worth playing. I'm sure the story lines will present themselves as your new fed unfolds.

I am starting to realize anything can happen in the word of dice generated wrestling. I was hoping Ric Flair would win the tournament, but he didnt even make it out of the first round! I had a scratch paper copy of the AWA Heavyweight Title Tournament, and made my predictions. When my first match saw Ed Lewis lose to Dick Hutton, my "bracket" was pretty screwed up already ;D. Then Rupa getting a fluke win over Flair, and Dr. Death and Inoki losing in the first round, I wasn't sure what the heck was going on. Maybe my first champion will be a MLW wrestler (Studd), who knows. He has to be one of the favorites that is still left. I guess my other fed most of the favorites won, so I'm getting all my upsets here. You guys are right, should be easier to come up with feuds/storylines this way.

Go with your results. It adds rich history in your federation. Gives everyone hope that they can win it. Remember the dice tell the story.
