I am a huge Chikara mark and its really in a good groove right now. If some of you guys are interested in giving Chikara a try, last seasons finale "three fisted tales" is a good place to start. That being said you can always jump right in, they alway do a good job of bringing you up to date.
I am really feeling UMB lately. His mach with Tursas that spilled out into the street was a must see, IIRC it was on the Germans DVD. It was awesome seeing Mantis take the fight to someone like that.
As far as favorites you can't go wrong with the Colony

Its hard to name one favorite, but here are my top 5: UltraMantis Black, Eddie Kingston, 3.0, Tim Donst and Frightmare. |

I was at the Germans show and couldn't see their match much since I was sitting up front and they were fighting most of the match in the back or outside

This is hard, because guys like Claudio, Jigsaw, Hero, etc... all wrestle outside Chikara.
I would have to say Claudio would be my favorite, but that could be influenced by his ROH work.

Well then you will just have to go to a Chikara show and check them out there as well.  There are Brooklyn and Union City, NJ shows coming up in the next couple months. Let me know if you want to meet up at either Jason. |
