Hey guys!
I don't know when all of this will happen, but I'm going to run down some things I'll be working on in the future. I get requests a lot, so hopefully this fulfills some of what you guys wanted!
BEFORE GALACTICON
Werner only has 16 (of 56) wrestlers left to draw for the 1985 WWF set. That's right, the final number is 56! I think there will be some fun surprises in the set... I don't need to tell you every piece of art is stunning. I hope to have the stats done by June 1st and playtest through June so come July I'll have the best set possible. Werner dug up close to 30 shows I hadn't seen before, and all of the guys I was having trouble with are no problem now! I've watched a lot of wrestling from 1985
Werner and I are also discussing a special box for Galacticon atendees. Something small to fit all the cards nicely with some sort of design involved... should be cool! I've decided (for cost reasons) to post the set as PDFs when I'm done for everyone who couldn't attend. Very few people that DON'T attend that I have been close with through the years here will also get a boxed set... please don't ask me for these, I already have the people in mind
I'm doing the set for free because I love you guys. I wanted to do something major for the community, something that people will remember me for and be talking about (and hopefully playing with)
for years. I'm going to start working on the 86 set later this year
Also be working on the final few cards for Future Legends of Wrestling... I should be sending the final drafts off to Todd today! It's been a wonderful experience speaking to the wrestlers and working with Filsinger Games.
AFTER GALACTICON
WWE update
I already have the rosters set (100 cards even!). There are a few women I don't have done, and I really have no desire to do them either. Is there anyone interested in working with me on this?
ECW Classic update
I've noticed a few stats I'd like to change, though most seem okay. Travis Heckel will be drawing art for some of the cards which I don't have to tell you is amazing to hear. Whatever he can't get done (*cry*) I may commission out to other artists around. It would be cool to have an ECW set with art, yeah? Looking forward to what Trav comes up with!
LOWcreations DVD
Early this year I said I wanted this done at Galacticon, but with work and other projects there is just no way it was going to happen. This will have all the cards, notes on special moves, and some more fun surprises! We'll push for December.
TNA update
I think Canadian Pitbull is down for some new art and some new stats from me! CPB's art has grown so much since I first saw his stuff, it's an honor to have him work as a big part of LOWcreations. I'm no TNA fan, but I love the talent; and it's an opportunity to book the fed how it SHOULD be booked!
LOWcreations turned 2 last month, and you all have been amazing with your support. If you could do me a favor, if you use any of my cards could you tell me what you use? This lets me know what I should be working on to upgrade/update. It makes me feel good to know people are using them also
