Last year at GCon, Eek paid for Chuck Carter to draw his interpratation of the 'Black Heart"...after the color version came out, Eek asked if either my wife or I could color this guy to somewhat of the newest version...The wife had some free time and decided to give it a shot...so, (without stepping on anyone's toes)...here is an alternate picture for the Black Hearted One.... I still love this pic, even more so now that it's colored. It was G-Con 2 years ago, but it was done then  Thanks Mindi for doing this. Yes, it is not to step on any toes...all I had was a sketch of what you see and wanted to see it colored. I'd actually gotten a hold of her to color him before we learned of the new Avarice, then when he came out, I patterned it after the one we saw. Very nice piece by Chuck and I'm glad I got the opportunity for him to pay tribute to my favorite COTG character. |

sorry i just think carter is awful as an artist, but if you're happy with it that's all that counts i guess.

good coloring job. I know Eek asked me to do it long ago, but I just don't have the coloring knack down as of yet. So I think she did a tremendously good job for "trying". Better than what I could do, I can tell you that! Kudos Old Skewl's wife!  |

sorry i just think carter is awful as an artist, but if you're happy with it that's all that counts i guess. The fact is that he was the original game artist and was doing this at G-Con...to have the chance to have the original COTG artist do an interpretation of another character was something not everyone will ever get the opportunity to have. I am happy with it, but to each their own. |

Dude...how can you not like the original artist? Beats Bendis's COTG works by leaps and bounds unless you are into silhouettes being 95% covered by shadows....
