BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Lou Thesz (ch) def. Mr. Saito, 2-0 Show Notes: a great start to the Japan Invasion Tour! The very strange duo of Lord Zoltan & The Missing Link just did what they wanted to the high-flying combination of Marty Janetty & Steve Regal. Janetty got DQed after interferring to save his partner. Tokyo Monster Kahagas was impressive in his debut bout. The old-school team of Clean & Jerk dominated the Armstrongs. Joe Blanchard and Mr. Fuji tore into each other with Blanchard winning a short, hard-hitting bout. Tokyo Monster Kahagas attacked Blanchard after the match. The Sheepherders battered the combination of Marcus Alexander Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio. Bob Roop destroyed Ilio DiPaolo. The Midnight Express met the New Age Outlaws for the tag team titles. It was a good one with the MX taking the first fall after the Veg-O-Matic. Billy Gunn evened the bout with a powerslam on Stan Lane. Lane caught the Road Dogg with a headbutt to end the match. Lou Thesz embarrassed Mr. Saito. The Japanese star did nothing at all and quickly defeated in two falls.

Lord Zoltan beat Steve Regal and then the Link jumped in for a 2 on 1 attack. Marty Janetty made the save and took a beating in a tough loss to the Link. The Jollyville Jeepers were dominant but Bagwell & Scorpio pulled out a win. Ilio DiPaolo grabbed a big win over the Giant Baba. Joe Blanchard finds himself against Mr. Fuji and the Tokyo Monster Kahagas on his own. He took on Fuji again and got the win by DQ when Fuji threw salt in his eyes.

BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Lou Thesz (ch) def. Rikidozan, 2-0 Show Notes: The Armstrongs slugged it out with Zoltan & the Link in a near 30-minute fight. Redd Dogg and Joe Blanchard battled it out nearly as long in a great match that ended in a D.Q. Another hard-hitting affair saw Bob Roop come out on top of Tokyo Monster Kahagas. Mr. Saito has his confidence back and wore down Baba for a big win. Rikidozan had the offense and kept the pressure on in the first fall. Thesz turned it around and Dozan kicked out over and over after many finishers before losing the first fall. Thesz then worked to the win in the second fall.
