BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage def. Antonio Inoki (ch), 2-0 Show Notes: an excellent kickoff to the JWA Siege of the Summer Tour. The action was fast and furious as Japan always brings out the intensity of the wrestlers. A classic six-man tag opened the show. The faces really controlled the action but were unable to finish off any of their opponents. After interference in stopping a pin Nigel McGuinness hit the Jawbreaker Lariat a second time for the pin. Young Sam Houston impressed the crowd with his energy and enthusiasm. He took some shots but held up against Tokyo Monster Kahagas, winning with a high cross body. Tracy Smothers was rolling against mat technician John Pesek when he crashed into the turnbuckle and lost the match. Smothers partner and former North American tag team champions Tommy Rich then tore through Bill Dundee with the sleeper. Japan favorite Baba slugged it out with the massive Masked Superstar II. This was a good one but Baba scored the win with the Neckbreaker Drop. The prestigious All-Asia tag team titles are vacant and the first round of the tournament took place on show #1. The New Age Outlaws caught Luke Williams at the bell with a hot shot for the pin seconds into the bout. Former rivals in the USWA met next and PG-13 hit the tilt a whirl to pin B. Brian Blair. Former World tag champs the Blackjacks had a great match with the Valiants. Mulligan & DiBiase were in charge but the Valiants would not stop fighting and kept coming back. Mulligan finally beat Jimmy Valiant with a power slam. Fuji & Saito almost lost real fast and a couple other times after that. The Taylors came close but Fuji's salt and devious tactics were the difference. The All-Asia heavyweight title changed hands in the main event. Former World champion Macho Man Randy Savage came to Japan on a mission and he completed it. Inoki battled and dished it right back with a lot of near falls. Savage kept taking over though and won both falls with the flying elbow drop.

FINALS ALL-ASIA TAG TEAM TITLE TOURNAMENT
The New Age Outlaws def. Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito Show Notes: an epic show as new All-Asia tag team champions were crowned. In the semis the Road Dogg & Billy Gunn decimated PG-13 but it took awhile to finally win the match. Fuji & Saito blew through the Blackjacks in no time at all. The title match was a JWA all-time great contest. Non-stop back and forth between the teams. After a Banzai Drop by Fuji, the Roadd Dogg interfered and a brawl erupted. The Outlaws turned the tables and a standing leg drop put Fuji down to win the belts. There was plenty of other important events on the card. The Valiants left Tugboat Taylor a bloody mess after repeated use of a foreign object. Nigel McGuinness upset Dan Severn, but maybe not as he's a former multi-time European champion. The Sheepherders lost in record time again. Pesek and Smothers tore the house down with their rematch. Pesek ended up the victor, but it was a post-match attack that grabbed attention. Bobby Heenan rejoined his former Family members in EPW as Pesek, McGuinness and Masked Superstar II are back together. Antonio Inoki ran through Bill Dundee as he's focused on regaining the All-Asia title from the Macho Man. Savage watched as Baba destroyed Masked Superstar II at the start of the match. Savage had Baba in trouble but Rich and Baba caused a brawl and the Neckbreaker Drop stopped the Masked Superstar II.

Giant Baba, Tommy Rich, Tracy Smothers def. John Pesek, Nigel McGuinness, Masked Superstar II Show Notes: another very good show as the JWA Siege of the Summer Tour starts to pick up steam. The Blackjacks and PG-13 had a tremendous match. DDP dominated the Ravishing One but Rude found a way to hit the Rude Awakening for the win. All-Asia tag team champions Road Dogg and Billy Gunn split their singles matches with Saito and Fuji. Bobby Heenan was active on the show. He was seen watching and encouraging other wrestlers than his own. He then berated his team after losing in the main event to Baba and the Southern Boys.

BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP The New Age Outlaws (ch) def. Mr. Fuji & Mr. Saito, 2-1 Show Notes: Bobby Heenan continues to act strangely, almost ignoring his own men while watching the other wrestlers. He even kept Rick Rude from bbeing disqualified. John Pesek seems to be the most upset with his manager. The tag team title match tore the house the down! The Outlaws won a very fast first fall but then this one turned into a classic. Fuji and Saito never gave up but took ungodly punishment. They turned the tables won the second fall. All four men were totally spent as they battled it out in the final fall. The Road Dogg came out on top with the pin on Saito to retain the titles. (Outlaws team coins 9, Fuji/Saito team coins 11)

BEST 2/3 FALLS ALL-ASIA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Randy Savage (ch) def. Rick Rude, 2-0 Show Notes: right now the biggest story in JWA seems to be what is Bobby Heenan up to? The Brain is seemingly forgeting about his charges and watching some other wrestlers, such as Rick Rude. Dutch Savage scored a big time win over Antonio Inoki. Tommy Rich outlasted Nigel McGuinness in a great contest. PG-13 used a hubcap to beat the Killer Bees. The New Age Outlaws easily won a non-title match over the Sheepherders. The Macho Man took two straight falls over Rick Rude to retain the All-Asia title.

Randy Savage, Mr. Fuji, Mr. Saito def. Giant Baba, Antonio Inoki, Tommy Rich Show Notes: a big show kicked off with a hotly contested battle royal involving participants in the All-Pacific championship tournament. Tracy Smother and Dallas Page were on fire and faced off as the last two in the ring. DDP came out the victor. The Bees and PG-13 continued their feud in singles action. Brunzell won a brutal fight with Wolfie D. What Bobby Heenan is up to is still unclear. He was with John Pesek for his dominating win over Sam Houston, but didn't seem very interested. He then came out with Rick Rude and was into the match. Rude had to battle back to win with the Rude Awakening. The Macho Man put a hurting on Baba before finally getting the win in the six-man main event.
