Good mix of guys so far and not too many of the usuals. yeah, Wrestle Reunion said they are not going to bring back any wrestlers they previously used in LA as part of their VIP package for Wrestle Reunion 6. They said they were not at point "yet." But I would not be surprised if for the Wrestle Reunion 2013 event in Los Angeles if they bring back some former wrestlers previously used at WR4, WR5, or the upcoming WR6 and again offer their build your own ticket packages for fans not as interested in meeting some of the wrestlers they previously met. |

Mar 30-April 1, 2012 (Fri-Sun) WrestleReunion 7 @ Miami Beach Deauville Resort 6701 Collins Avenue Miami, Florida Apirl 13-15, 2012 (Fri-Sun) WrestleReunion 8 @ Doubletree by Hilton Toronto Airport 655 Dixon Road Toronto, Ontario, Canada Unlikely because, for those two shows, Wrestle Reunion is almost completely reusing wrestlers they have already used at previous Wrestle Reunions I have attended in Los Angeles and a complete VIP ticket in Miami is $350. So far only Rick Martel (Toronto.) Leilani Kai, and and Lanny Poffo (both Miami) are the only three wrestlers announced for those events who I have not previously met (although not necessarily to talk to about LOW as I usually only get a chance to talk to a few wrestlers about the game at Wrestle Reunion each year due to factors such as how fast they move the lines) or will meet before those two shows at the upcoming Wrestle Reunion 6 in January. It just makes much more sense for me instead to attend Wrestle Reunion's annual Wrestle Reunion show in Los Angeles every January where as a VIP I don't have to pay money to get autographs and photos from the same wrestlers again as they don't reuse wrestlers in LA from previous LA Wrestle Reunions and I am only an hour's plane flight away from LA  |

Mick Foley was announced today for Wrestle Reunion 6 on Wrestle Reunion's Facebook page. That leaves 5 VIP spots to go plus alot of vendor spots TBA.

Here is the official Foley announcement:
WrestleReunion welcomes Mick Foley to WrestleReunion 6 in Los Angeles, CA. Mick will be part of of the autograph/pictures on Saturday afternoon, live show on Saturday night as a special enforcing ref, as well as the breakfast of champions on Sunday morning. Who doesn’t want to have breakfast seated next to Mick Foley? We’re also arranging a comedy show (likely on Sunday after the breakfast and before the PWG event) headlined by the award winning author with proceeds going to a designated charity!
I saw Foley doing comedy last year at the Hilton here in Las Vegas and I do not think he is very funny. But I might get a ticket to Foley's comedy show depending on which other wrestlers are also appearing on it.
Perhaps Colt Cabana will also do comedy that weekend on that show with Foley as Highspots is the main vendor for Wrestle Reunion and Highspots is also the sponsor of Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast?

Yes! They are bringing back the Wrestle Royal for WR6! We have been laboring with the decision for months on whether to bring back the match and its now official, our Legends battle royal returns and will headline the PWS show on January 28th, 2012!The Wrestle Royal is a royal rumble of all the Wrestle Reunion guests (and some vendor guests) who are physically able to still wrestle. Last year's Wrestle Royal (held the night before the WWE's Royal Rumble) was part of the Saturday night PWG show (but at WR6 the PWG show will be held the next day just before the WWE's Royal Rumble is broadcast) and you can see it on PWG's Kurt Russelreunion II DVD and it came down to Roddy Piper and Terry Funk with Piper getting the win. I am a big fan of battle royals and the Royal Rumble (I own every single Royal Rumble PPV on DVD,) so I am really glad to hear the Wrestle Royal is returning once again. Cman already bought our PWS tickets and I am going to buy the PWG and (hopefully if the hotel permits it) Royal Rumble viewing tickets once they go on sale for that weekend. For the Wrestle Royal at Wrestle Reunion 6, Vader (I would also say Mick Foley but he is reportedly only going to be a special ref at this show) has to be an early favorite. |
