According to Chris Hero on his Twitter page, Larry Sweeney has passed away. He did not indicate the way he passed away. Larry Sweeney was always one of my favorite indy entertainers. RIP Larry Sweeney.

I'm stunned to hear this. What's even worse is a few sites are reporting it might have been suicide.

I remember at ROH's Survival of the Fittest in 2007 here in Las Vegas at the Emerald ballroom on The Strip watching Larry Sweeney manage Chris Hero all the way to victory (including all 5 eliminations in the final match.) Sweeney and Hero were great together.
A truly great manager and overall wrestling personality, Sweeney (who I also got to see perform at the Lucha Las Vegas show at the Rio back in January) will live on in my LOTF fed Vegas Wrestling Guerrilla where he manages Evolution- the top heel faction in my fed consisting of Adam Pearce, Steve Corino, Brent Albright, and Claudio Castagnoli.
You may have already seen this, but ROH made this tribute video in honor and remembrance of Sweeney:
