Saw a few people wondering who the band guy from the new promo was.
Don't know much about him myself, but here he is along with his girl (Veronica) at about 1:10 into this video:

I'm already getting plenty of ideas for him from just that short clip.

Huge fan of this guy. He's from my neck of the woods and has really paid his dues around the country. Two years ago for the ROH shows during WM weekend he drove to wrestle opening matches, then drove back right after his last match. Vegas, he was the guy in the cape, remember? Very nice fellow. He's hilarious and has been absolute money everywhere he's gone.

I have to adsmit that I only vaguely remember him. But I do clearly remember you telling me at that show about that wrestler in one of the dark matches being from your part of Texas. Good to hear that he now has a regular spot in CHIKARA as Archibald Peck.

Non-title of course but still impressive.

On a side note, I read Cabana is no longer the NWA Champion because he lost the title to The Sheik in Florida this past weekend.

Does this mean Archibald is no longer number one contender, now that the champ he beat is no longer champ?

This is just like Lou Thesz/Buddy Roberts! Archibald Peck should be recognized as the TRUE NWA Champeen!

Interesting. Does this mean Archibald is no longer number one contender, now that the champ he beat is no longer champ? well, as far as I know, Archibald Peck was never the #1 contender for the NWA Championship anyway since the NWA and CHIKARA are two different Indy feds. The NWA World Title has been defended in non-NWA feds before, such as when Brent Albright won it from and lost it back to Adam Pearce in ROH. Thus Archibald Peck defeated the NWA World Champion would make him the #1 contender. It's only fair really.
