So when Tom and I were talking earlier this evening, we discussed a bunch of things.
We talked LEGENDSonline, we talked about the next Legends card game coming at the end of this year, and then the conversation shifted...
We somehow ended up talking about all those unlucky Legends signings at the bottom of the proverbial totem pole.
You know, the guys who end up getting stuck in (and ultimately losing) those "pick the last wrestler to make the set" polls. And then there are the lot of signed names who aren't big enough a name to even make a poll.
Anyhow, the idea of possibly releasing some of these wrestler cards as PDFs came up. Of course, we're talking only about the wrestlers who would likely never see the light of day (in terms of making the final cut of a Legends game edition roster).
We started sharing more ideas - maybe we release a whole PDF set of these guys...maybe throw in another jobber or two...heck, maybe a female jobber (Mrs. X anyone?).
Production time is limited due to the busy release schedule already lined up for this year, but it's an idea worth discussing here.
Anyone interested in something like this? Suggestions and/or ideas are encouraged!

Suggestions and/or ideas are encouraged! I would be very interested in this. If these guys (or gals) are "bottom of the card" types, for lack of a better term, I'm sure all promoters would love to have them to help round out their cards. I think releasing a set would be the way to go, or at least release them as LE/SE's for those who want a choice of who to buy. I would buy a set if that matters at all as I want to have as many official cards as possible. By the way, does this mean guys like Kurrgan and the Blue Meanie would be included? I think Meanie deserves to have a card by now

I think that's a great idea and I would buy it. And that's all I have to say about that.

I would always prefer physical cards, but I'd get them.

Ideally I would like cardstock, but I like this idea and would certainly order.

People have asked for this forever. I know a lot of who I've signed will be waiting a long time for a card. I'm sure there's plenty more I don't know about. If the only way for them to get in the game is a pdf I'm all for it. Plenty of the ladies and the men I've got fit the bill here.
*edit* Another point would be the possibility of the Chikara set being updated each year and regular LOTF editions falling by the wayside. With a pdf those indy guys signed from ROH, PWG, WXW, etc. can still see the light of day.

Plenty of the ladies and the men I've got fit the bill here. Very true. In all honesty, I don't think there's been a recent inventory taken of all the names that might fit the bill. It'll be interesting to see just how many of these signed names there are if this idea is pursued.
