I post results from all my cards & have gotten exactly 1 response, which tells me that a) either everyone here has no use for what I'm doing OR b) who cares what they think, right? This is a game, not a job & it's supposed to be fun. And as long as I have fun, the purpose is served. Don't worry about the responses. I read a lot of the LOW feds but don't post a response unless I feel I have something constructive to say (or make a smart remark here and there). I'm sure many others do the same. And I agree with your "overthinking" comment to M/8ch. Don't make the square peg fit in the round hole. Do whatever is comfortable and only book as many cards as you have time to play.

I just wanted to add, to start with just start out with 2 Champs, your heavyweight Champ and your Tag Champs this kept it simple for me and allowed me to play my cards with little preparation. I didn't introduce another belt until after my first game year with the original 24 which was some 60+ cards later!

Yes, starting with two champions and working a ranking system within your statistics limit is huge.

I'm not starting over but I'm making changes to my old fed. I was going to make way for as many wrestlers as possible but now I think I will keep it on the small/medium size. I think 48 is about as large as I could manage it. This is something else to consider if you have all the sets and want to get started, I think it's better to start small and add as you get into the swing of things. The other advantage to this is that you have more options when it comes to releasing wrestlers and bringing in new talent, I think it keeps the game fresh. The alternative is to have 2 Feds using nearly all your wrestlers and have them kind of compete in the same way the old NWA or WCW did against the then WWF. I think this is different than having them all compete in 1 fed because I always feel that I would have to give equal amount of matches to all wrestlers to keep the rankings fair but with 2 feds you can just play each when you have time and this can create a kind of 'how will A from fed 1 fair against B from fed 2?' This could create scenarios where someone isn't happy and leaves for another fed etc. Sorry, I'm rambling now but I thought I'd share those suggestions.

I was having the same problems just recently in my feds. I ran four feds each with different cards/per year. I was burnt out and nothing was getting done. So I codensed things, now I only run 2 feds. With a total of 12 cards a year for each fed (each card is like a special event).
When the game becomes a chore rather than an entertaining hobby, it's time for a change. Good luck man!

When I first started playing a year ago I checked out what other people were doing with feds. I've tried to run every style of fed. I've started and restarted several times. I guess you just have to figure out what you want to do. There is no right or wrong way because after all it's a game. So make it fun for yourself.
