I've been using Ted DiBiase since the Original 24 came out, how do I transend from that DiBiase to the gloved one?
The one thing I have going is that I haven't played LOW for some time so it feels like I'm almost starting over.

The one thing I have going is that I haven't played LOW for some time so it feels like I'm almost starting over. 1. DiBiase losses his money some way(IRS, stock Market Crash, huge investment in NEW Coke, bad/crooked financial adviser)...think about the old DDP angle...homeless...on the street...scalping WCW tickets. 2. Someone (Mike DiBiase) out wrestles DiBiase and embaresses him...Ted goes into severe training mode for several weeks...many vinettes play...Ted comes back with 'Black Glove". 3. DiBiase faces someone in a Miner's Glove match...over a period of time the 'black glove' becomes part of his schtick. 4. Someone (Virgil) defeats DiBiase in a match where Ted can no longer proclaim that he is the 'Million Dollar Man'...saying that he can only appear in black tights. 5. Minion after minion fails to take care of DiBiase's opponents/feuds...Ted says that if he wants something done...he has to do it himself...goes into training...and comes back more determined. 6. Ted fights another (Mike)...during the match...Ted continues to beat the man to a bloody pulp...but the opponent will not give up...finally, the opponnent speaks (I love you, son!)...Ted has a change of heart (his heart grew 5 sizes that day)...he gives his money away to charity and changes to the 'black glove'. I'm sure there is more... Graymar |

I had Ted Dibiase turn one time in a fed where he was tired of being booed. The fans resented him but he was on his way up and the current champion was a heel and thought Ted was on his side, a month long face turn resulted in Gloved Dibiase

While DiBiase was really known as a heel with his black glove, he was a huge, beloved figure in Mid South in the Mid 80s with his black glove.
So why not capitalize on his real life personna? As a Christian advocate...saying the Million $ Man life isn't what God would want him to be and he is turning over a new leaf. Have a tag partner, like Steve Williams, remind him of this, which causes his face turn.

I'm glad you said that Trav, because I was toying with making the team of DiBiase & Williams faces, but like to stick to real life history.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, they are very good. The challenge I have is that eventually I will turn him back to being a heel but I want to use his black glove card to re-start him out.
The good thing is that because I was strained for time I just got the cards in so I didn't really use the Million Dollar angle much if at all so he was just playing the heel and I didn't really have stables, just some guys who allied with each other.
This will be like a fresh start even though I'm keeping my Champ the same. It's been a while since I've played my fed so it doesn't seem strange to have him start as someone else now.
I'm also probably going to use Nikolai Volkoff as part of the Mongols. I love the tag mechanics, it's the best type of match for this game in my opinion.
