I really want to go to this. It always only takes about a tank of gas in my truck to get me from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and I would consider it an honor to meet Tom and guys like Pure Hatred and toasterboy (just as I would definitely consider it an honor to get the chance to go to Galacticon in New York and meet people such as Tom, Swarm, Payback, Matt, TournamentMaster, BDS, Werner, etc). But I really have to work here in Las Vegas on Friday May 30 proctoring final exams (and I have some seniors whose tests I have to grade immediately due to their pending graduation status) until at least mid afternoon. If this was the next day Saturday May 31 or the following weekend (when I start my annual 2 1/2 month paid vacation ) then I would be there without question. But I am worried that if I leave after the time I finally get off work on May 30 and then drive across the desert on I-15 West that I won't get to Los Angeles in time to meet Tom , Pure Hatred, etc. |

I guess that depends on how long it takes you to get to LA and when you get off work.
It would be very cool to meet up with guys from the boards, but if you're off work @ 4 pm, and even if you drive like a maniac, you probably would be arriving at 10 pm?
Thats not too late and I think we'll still be hanging out (Tom seems like a guy that could definitely hold a conversation and I can't ever shut up) but you might be dead tired.

I guess that depends on how long it takes you to get to LA and when you get off work. Unless there is construction or some major accident on I-15, I think it usually takes me about 5 hours to drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. On Fridays there is a little extra traffic leaving Las Vegas, but usually not as much as the traffic heading into town from California. I am not sure what time I'll get off work that Friday, because it is during our final exam period and I have some deadlines that I am required to meet next week for getting stuff turned in associated with the end of the school year (after June 4th I'm on paid vaction until late August  . But as long as I can get off either on time or not too much later, I am pretty sure I could probably meet you guys no later than 10 (but probably not as soon as 8). Because I really want to go, count me in tentatively. Next week I'll have a better idea of where I am at in terms of work and if it looks like I can't go then I'll let you guys know for sure. |

My plan is to be there for most of the evening, so 10:00 wouldn't be a problem on my end.
