Just a couple of questions about Chikara. I am very new to the fed, so I really not sure about a lot of things. But a couple of things I have questions about, and hopefully, someone could help me out...
1. Do the names of their shows have any actual meaning? Do they have any rhyme or reason?
2. Is ECW Arena still actually called, "ECW Arena"?

1. Do the names of their shows have any actual meaning? Do they have any rhyme or reason? The event names are usually references to something. This year is heavily influenced by 80's cartoon episode names (Heman, Go Bots, COPS, Thundercats, etc). You will also see music lyrics for some of Quack's favorite bands (like Pink Floyd this season). There have been comic book themed shows, shows with Police Squad episode names and a bunch of other pop culture references. Some of the fun of doing a Chikara fed is coming up with Show Themes.

Nice job in explaining that TM. I agree that some of the fun is picking out the show names. My first one is called As Evel As Knievel and I have a couple of others lined up using pop culture references. Being a Motley Crue fan I have one set up to be called Paging Dr. Feelgood and I'm sure I'll come up with other music, television, and movie references for future shows.

ECW Arena was never it's Official name! When ECW ran shows, it was Called "Viking Hall"! It was a Bingo Hall, and where the Mummers kept their Equipment! When it came under New Management it became the "New Alhambra"! After the Boxing Promoter left, it was simply "The Arena", and is now called "The Asylum"!

Unlike my LOW and LOTF fed which only take place in Las Vegas, my CHIKARA fed (CHIKARA Pacific) tours around the West so I started placing the names of the cities where the current shows take place in the names of the shows. For example, my next show is Albuquerque Anarchy which takes places in Albuquerque and features a special one time appearance by Albuquerque's own Bruiser Brody (Brody is wrestling against Brodie Lee on that show.)
