Fantastic stuff, looking forward to seeing how Monolith shakes things up when he emerges from the shadows.
The belts in your fed seem to not have long reigning champs of late. Guess that’s a sign of the times and shifts in the GWF. I remember the Matador was for along time your longest reigning heavyweight champ and Thunder came close in the Centra era. Am I right in assuming Monolith surpassed the mark once? In the more recent modern era who have had some of the more noteworthy reigns? I know I am a scratched record and have mentions before but I would love to see a list of all your champs from the very beginning of your fed for the various belts. I would buy something like this from the store in a heartbeat!
Thanks Wayne. I've actually had some solid title reigns lately.
Heavyweight: Monolith defended for 23 fight cards, anything over 20 fight cards is a good reign in my fed. After him Overmaster defended for 16 which isn't bad either.
Tag: The Predators recently defended for 28 fight cards which is also a solid run.
IP: No really strong reigns lately, this one changes a bit more often.
I recently updated all my game stats and printed a summary which is 17 pages. Perhaps one of these days I'll make it available for a nominal fee (for mailing, printing, etc) for those who are interested. In the meantime here are my all time belt leaders based on my system of weighting belts, for example GWF Heavyweight Belt is the most prestigious, then the Tag belts, then the IP Belt.
1. Thunder
2. Wolf - since he's still active Wolf could eventually move to the #1 spot.
3. Brute and Massacre - they have the same number of points because all their belts were tag championships together.
Monolith is tied with Brute and Massacre and since he is still active he will probably pass them.
4. Chaos - not counting the Future Shock version which is separate for me.
5. Thantos
6. Nefarus and Vendetta
7. Clinch and Shoot - they may return and move up.
8. Billy Jo Boxer - yay for Billy Jo!
9. Lord Nexus tied with Star Warrior
10. Matador of M83
For the record Star Warrior has won the most number of different belts, a grand total of 7 title reigns. He won all three major belts at some time in his career. Wolf is right behind with 6 titles and is in good position to move up.
There are only 3 wrestlers who have won all three belts in my fed: Star Warrior, Encubus, Matador of M83.
My personal fed handbook has several sections:
1. Listing of ALL wrestlers who won any belt, how long they held it, when they held it, and their total points in my system.
2. Glorious Hall of Records - longest title reigns, etc.
3. History of Heavyweight Belt.
4. History of Tag Belts.
5. History of IP Belt.
6. Winners of each Only the Best tournaments, very prestigious in my fed to win at Only the Best. There have been 41 overall.
17 pages total!
