GWF Championship Wrestling #14: 04/04/87
from DSPN Studio 21
- Opening - ::Thantos drops to the mat and Wolf crashes into the ring post. Thantos rolls him up but then goes for the Masterlock. Wolf grabs him and rolls him up for a 2 count. The clip moves ahead to the end of the match. Thantos escapes the Savage Face Claw by pounding on the injured arm. The clip moves ahead to Wolf tapping out to the Masterlock and Thantos celebrating retaining the title::
Hosts are K.O. Keller and "Mr. DSPN" Torpor
Keller: The clips you just saw was from our great main event at Starcade. It was a great match and people have been raving about it all week. You don't want to miss this so order the replay today. We've got a big show for you tonight as Killer Queen, Lord Nexus, the Gladiators of Aethra, Omega, Society of Death and Massif will be in action. We'll also be bringing you reactions to the events of Starcade. Up first we have the GWF Galaxian Champion Thantos. He just successfully defended his title against Wolf in what fans are calling one of the best matches in GWF history.
Thantos: That's right Keller. All of the fans out there. You can boo me and you can call me every name in the book. You can even hate me with every bone in your body but the one thing you can't do is deny that I am the man. I am the greatest wrestler in the galaxy and I just proved why at Starcade. I went out there with one of the most dangerous men in this sport and I beat him right in the middle of that ring. Actually, I've beaten Wolf three times this year.
Keller: Who's next for you?
Thantos: That's a good question Keller. Star Warrior blew his shot against Comrade Terror. Choking seems to be a specialty of his. Wolf, of course, is out of the picture for awhile. Lord Nexus is a possibility but he seems to be too deeply involved with Krakan to break away. Comrade Terror has some claim to a shot but he of course won't claim it. I'll go out on a limb here. Anyone out there, if you want a shot. Just say so and we'll get it done.
Keller: Let's head to the ring for our opening bout...
- Singles Match - Killer Queen vs. Karate Kid Killer Queen defeated Karate Kid with a Checkmate at 2:22 Match Rating: 0.50
- Omega Interview - Keller: I'm told you have some announcements for us. What's coming for us in the near future.
Omega: Well, due to the DQ in the tag title match I'm ordering an automatic rematch for the Deimos Intergalactic Arena show that will take place in about two weeks. I want a winner to that bout. And then we have Lord Nexus and Invincible Krakan. They can't seem to finish a match without a DQ or a count out. Frankly, I'm sick of it and the fans are sick of it. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to have a fan vote on the website. The choices will be between a cosmic cage match and a titan death match. Whichever match gets the most vote will be the match they face off in at our June PPV the Galaxian Bash. So fans head to the GWF's website and vote today.
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Tag Team Match - Society of Death vs. AJ Wright and Rob Moore Ghengis Khan defeated Rob Moore with a Twin Thrust at 4:13 Match Rating: 0.75
- Commander Sam Interview - Keller: I'm here with Commander Sam. Noticeably absent is his tag team partner Massif.
Sam: He has a match to prepare for and part of this doesn't concern him. I just want to thank Omega for giving the Greek Gods a rematch. Tempers were lost and we got a little carried away. I feel like we cheated the fans by not giving them a complete match. I hope next time around we can give the fans the match they deserve to see. Now onto other things. I heard Thantos out here earlier saying he would take on any comers. Well Thantos, sign me up. You bring a contract with the date and time and I'll sign right on the dotted line. I was a GWF Heavyweight Champion when you were still struggling to make waves on the bottom of the ladder. I may be a bit older but I still have enough gas in the tank to kick your tail around a ring one more time.
Keller: It's time for more inring action...
- Singles Match - Omega vs. Zone Fighter Omega defeated Zone Fighter with a cosmic war dance at 3:05 Match Rating: 0.25
- Comrade Terror Interview - Keller: You laid claim to the No. 1 Contenders spot for the GWF Galaxian Title. Thantos seems to be fairly confident you won't take the shot. What do you have to say?
Comrade Terror: The passion burns deeply inside me to call the shot. Just dream of it Keller. I could be for even just a moment the greatest wrestler in the galaxy.
Torpor: You already are in my heart!
Keller: I feel dirty just hearing that.
Comrade Terror: I thought we talked about this.
Keller: We did but he started buying his own microphones so I can't have security take them.
Comrade Terror: As I was saying. It's tempting to grab for the height of glory but Thantos has paid me well to not call his shot.
Keller: How can you just pass over such a chance?
Comrade Terror: I'm being taken care of financially. There will always be the future for winning the title. For right now I'll take the money.
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Singles Match - Massif vs. Baragon Massif defeated Baragon with a Volcanic Drop at 1:49 Match Rating: 0.50
- Invincible Krakan Interview - Keller: I'm here with Invincible Krakan. What do you think about Omega's fan vote idea?
Krakan: Krakan thinks it stinks. The fans will pick a match that is to the advantage of Lord Nexus.
Keller: Wouldn't both options somewhat favor you since you're more of a brawler?
Krakan: A cosmic cage match would but not a Titan death match. Why do you think it's called a Titan death match. Because the people of Titan created it. So of course the Titans will flood the voting with votes for that match.
Keller: I still think it would give you some advantages.
Krakan: In a cage he'll have less room to move around and he'll have to engage Krakan. In a Titan death match he can spend the whole match running around. He'll use his agility and high risk moves to steal a win from me. I will formally protest this match but still participate.
Keller: It's time for more GWF inring action...
- Tag Team Match - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Sun Boy and Cosmic Boy Brute defeated Cosmic Boy with a Decapitator at 0:56 Match Rating: 0.25
- Gladiators of Aethra Interview - Keller: I'm here with the Gladiators of Aethra. They have some demands to make of the GWF.
Massacre: That's right Keller. We want a No. 1 Contenders match at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena show in a few weeks. We don't care who it is. All we want is the match and to demolish whoever gets in our way.
Keller: What about Wolf? He still seems to be going strong despite his loss at Starcade.
Massacre: Wolf will get his in due time. Brute and I just decided that we're going to secure the tag team titles before we go after him again.
Keller: Why take that route? Won't the belts just distract you from your feud with Wolf?
Brute: What kind of stupid question is that? Are you saying we can't take care of two things at once?
Massacre: The matter is simple. Championship gold gives us leverage in this promotion. If we have titles we have more freedom to attack Wolf. Omega knows what's good for his business and stripping champions of titles is not good for business.
Keller: It's time for our main event.
- Main Event - Lord Nexus vs. Mack Strong Lord Nexus defeated Mack Strong with a Titan Drop at 5:18 Match Rating: 0.75
- Wolf Interview - Keller: A heartbreaking loss at Starcade for Wolf. Where do you go from here?
Wolf: I start at the bottom and start climbing my way back to the top. Yes, Starcade was a big set back for me. Yes, I need to rebuild a little. So next week, I start building up wins so I can climb back into that No. 1 Contenders slot. Comrade Terror, watch out because I'll be coming for you soon.
Keller: Wow, that would be an interesting...
::Comrade Terror steps out onto the stage::
Keller: Ok, settle down. We don't want trouble here.
Comrade Terror: Then you should control your guests. I was minding my own business backstage when I heard this fleabag writing a check his butt couldn't cash. You want a piece of me?
Wolf: Oh yeah.
Comrade Terror: Then let's go at it right now!
::Comrade Terror gets into the ring and dares Wolf to get in. Wolf cautiously gets in the ring. Like a bolt of lightning they're at it. They exchange punches at a feverish pace. No one seems to be getting the better of the exchange when security storms the ring. Wolf and Comrade Terror toss the members of security out of the ring and go back to their brawl. Comrade Terror seems to gain the upper hand by pounding on the injured arm of Wolf. He gets Wolf trapped in the corner and pounds him with knee strikes. Out of nowhere Wolf gets the Savage Face Claw. Comrade Terror manages to flip himself out of the ring to escape. They talk trash as the show fades to black::

Just a head's up. GWF Championship Wrestling #15 and Deimos Intergalactic Arena Show #3 will be posted today. The matches for #15 are done. I just have to write the interviews and angles. I don't foresee Deimos taking long considering the matches set up for it. I might also do GWF Championship Wrestling #16 tonight if I'm feeling really into it.

Yeah... so life always seems to set out to prevent me from keeping the promise of putting out a show when I say I will. The next episode is half written and I'll hopefully get it finished tonight or tomorrow.

GWF Championship Wrestling #15: 04/11/87
from DSPN Studio 21
- Opening - Hosts are K.O. Keller and "Mr. DSPN" Torpor
Keller: Welcome to another exciting edition of GWF Championship Wrestling. The major leagues of pro wrestling. We've got a big show tonight as Wolf, Omega, Exo-King, Beast-Rider, Society of Death and Titan Express will be in action. We'll also be hearing from various GWF stars throughout the night. And it looks like our first guest is here.
Comrade Terror: Yes, and it finally looks like you got rid of Torpor for my interviews. I appreciate it.
Keller: You look extremely happy today. Why is that?
Comrade Terror: Because I've been kicking around the GWF for awhile now and I've finally found someone that will fight me on my level. I've fought guys like Star Warrior in the past but they try to wrestle me. Wolf is another breed of wrestler. He's just as willing to take it outside of the ring and just exchanges punches. He's also not afraid to bend the rules when he needs to be. Fighting him is like a dream come true. I look forward to spilling his blood all over the ring.
Keller: It's time for our first match...
- Singles Match - Omega vs. Rob Moore Omega defeated Rob Moore with a Tomahawk Thrust at 3:00 Match Rating: 0.50
- Omega Interview - Keller: What do you have for us this week Omega?
Omega: I'd just like to say the voting for the match type for Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan is going very well right now. The voting is very close and it's still early. So remember, if you want to possibly influence this you need to vote.
Keller: I also saw you signed a match with Death Knight for the Deimos Intergalactic Arena show. What made you decide to do that?
Omega: Death Knight is an up and coming talent and he teams with Exo-King. I want to maybe knock the Evil Ones down a peg by defeating one of their men.
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Tag Team Match - Society of Death vs. Karate Kid and G'Nort Mutant defeated Karate Kid with a Temple Grinder at 2:28 Match Rating: 0.25
- Lord Nexus Interview - Keller: What do you think of the fans deciding what match you'll have against Invincible Krakan at Galaxian Bash?
Nexus: I like it. It makes the fans care and to feel like the GWF cares about them. I'd be honored to fight in whatever match they decide to put us in.
Keller: Do you agree with Krakan that a titan death match favors you?
Nexus: For once I do. Krakan will be able to trap me in a cage and in a death match I have a lot more room to move around in. So it does favor me greatly to have a titan death match. Though I think I can still effectively battle him in a cage. I can still use my aerial tactics and I can hit the Titan Drop from out of nowhere. So if Krakan thinks he has it made in a cage match then he is sadly mistaken.
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Singles Match - Beast-Rider vs. Servo Beast-Rider defeated Servo with a Bulldog Ride at 2:06 Match Rating: 0.50
- Star Warrior Interview - Keller: I'm here with Star Warrior. Where do you go from here?
Star Warrior: Losing to Comrade Terror at Starcade was a setback for me. He's got control of the next shot if he wants to take it. So now I have to wait and see what happens. For now I just plan to keep getting in that ring and win matches. Sooner or later Thantos will have to defend the Galaxian Championship against me.
Keller: What do you think of Commander Sam potentially getting a title shot at the Galaxian Bash PPV?
Star Warrior: I think it's great. He's been a top star in the GWF for over a decade now. If anyone deserves a title shot, he does.
Keller: It's time for more inring action...
- Tag Team Match - Titan Express vs. Lightning Lad and Sun Boy Pit Viper defeated Sun Boy with a Venom Blast at 1:51 Match Rating: 0.75
- Thantos Interview - Keller: The question on everyone's mind is do you accept the challenge of Commander Sam?
Thantos: Yes. Sam, you want a piece of me? Well you've got it. Just remember, this isn't Cosmos anymore. I am a much more dangerous wrestler since the last time you saw me in the ring. This title belt right here proves that I'm the best out there right now. But I'm eager for a chance to face you in the ring. The great Commander Sam. The man that's done it all in the GWF. He's won all the titles numerous times. He's fought the big scary monsters for the fans for years. He's looked up to by everyone. I watch you in the ring Sam and I see a wrestler who has lost a step or two but is still a very dangerous man. So don't think I'll overlook you. I'll see you in June.
Keller: Let's head to the ring for our next match...
- Singles Match - Exo-King vs. Rock Lee Exo-King defeated Rock Lee with a Death Vise at 1:34 Match Rating: 0.50
- Exo-King Interview - Keller: I'm here with Exo-King. What do you have for us this week?
Exo-King: I think Omega just made a huge mistake. Death Knight might not be at my level in the ring but he's still a much better wrestler than Omega is. I've said it time and time again. Omega, do your legacy a favor and just retire now. Stop making people think of you as a feeble old man that can barely win a match anymore.
Keller: It's time for our main event...
- Main Event - Wolf vs. Barry Horowitz III Wolf defeated Barry Horowitz III with a Savage Face Claw at 5:51 Match Rating: 0.75
- Close - Keller: Join us on the 15th at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena. We've got a great card for you...
GWF Galaxian Title Match: Thantos (c) vs. Beast-Rider
GWF Galaxian Tag Team Title Match: Commander Sam and Massif (c) vs. the Greek Gods
No. 1 Contenders Match: Gladiators of Aethra vs. Titan Express
Wolf vs. Comrade Terror
Executioner vs. Renegade
Star Warrior vs. Mutant
Lord Nexus vs. Ghengis Khan
Omega vs. Death Knight
Keller: Join us next week for more exciting GWF action!

GWF Championship Wrestling #16: 04/18/87
from DSPN Studio 21
- Opening - ::Commander Sam dives and makes the tag to Massif. He charges in and exchanges blows with Proteus. They both come off the ropes and Massif ducks a clothesline. He comes off the ropes again and blasts Proteus with the Volcanic Drop and dives on top to get the 1...2...3::
Hosts are K.O. Keller and "Mr. DSPN" Torpor
Keller: Welcome to another exciting edition of GWF Championship Wrestling. As you just saw at the start of our program Commander Sam and Massif are still your GWF Galaxian Tag Team Champions. They won a hard fought match and pulled off what many believe to be a fairly big upset. The Titan Express also stunned the galaxy by defeating the Gladiators of Aethra. These two teams will collide sooner or later and it's looking to be an interesting match up. We've got a big show tonight as Star Warrior, Gladiators of Aethra, Beast-Rider and Pulsar, Exo-King, Renegade and Ghengis Khan will be in action. Well, it looks like Lord Nexus has decided to stop by.
Nexus: How are you doing this week Keller?
Keller: Good, thanks for asking.
Nexus: How about you Torpor?
Torpor: Bite me.
Keller: Why can't you be nice to our guests?
Torpor: I'm nice to Thantos and Comrade Terror.
Keller: No, you stalk them. Anyways, I noticed that you finally broke into the top 5 contenders with your win over Ghengis Khan.
Nexus: Yes, I had only been trailing Executioner by a few points and that convincing win really put me over the top. Now this gives me the chance to possibly get a title shot if I beat Krakan at Galaxian Bash.
Keller: How is the fan vote going?
Nexus: The voting has been very tight so far. Both matches have been in the lead multiple times over the last 2 weeks. I think the titan death match has a slight lead at the moment.
Keller: As everyone has been saying that's the match that will favor you.
Nexus: Yes, it will allow me to use my speed and agility more than a cage match would. I look forward to this match. I want to for at least a time put an end to my fight with Krakan. I want to hold some gold in the GWF and I can't do that fighting the same man over and over again.
Keller: It's time for our opening match...
- Tag Team Match - Beast-Rider and Pulsar vs. Los Locos Beast-Rider defeated Los Loco #1 with a cross body block at 3:51 Match Rating: 1.25
- Omega Interview - Keller: I'm here with Omega. He suffered a tough loss at the hands of Death Knight recently. Where do you go from here?
Omega: Well, we've both signed on for a rematch at the Galaxian Bash. It was a good match and I think I can get the win if I get another shot at him. He's eager for a rematch as well. He believes that another win over me would make his career.
Keller: What's the hardest part about matching up with Death Knight?
Omega: He's a lot stronger than I am. He lacks a lot of the skills of wrestling beyond the basics so he cuts corners in the ring. It's a tough combination to overcome. I'm sure I can figure something out for our rematch.
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Singles Match - Ghengis Khan vs. AJ Wright Ghengis Khan defeated AJ Wright with a Twin Thrust at 1:39 Match Rating: 0.25
- Comrade Terror Interview - Keller: How do you feel after the wild brawl you had with Wolf at Deimos?
Comrade Terror: I feel great. I've been waiting since I arrived last year to get a match like that. No one has been willing to fight me like that. They've all tried to wrestle me and keep me on the mat and in the middle of the ring. Well, that bores me to tears. I want to brawl all over the building. I want to bleed and I want to draw blood.
Keller: What is the status of your No.1 Contenders slot?
Comrade Terror: I still have it. It wasn't on the line in this match. I might be willing to put it on the line if Wolf wants to fight me again. I want an even bloodier and wilder brawl than we had last time.
Keller: It's time for more inring action...
- Singles Match - Renegade vs. Matter-Eater Lad Renegade defeated Matter-Eater Lad with a Spinecracker at 6:27 Match Rating: 2.25
- Young Lion's Cup Announcement - Keller: I'm here with Omega and he has an important announcement for us.
Omega: Thank you. As many of our long time fans know. We have an annual tournament for our youngest stars to show their skills called the Young Lion's Cup. That tournament is coming up in May and I'm very excited about the field of wrestlers we have this year.
Keller: Can you explain to the fans how this tournament works?
Omega: Sure. The first round of the tournament is a round robin tournament. The wrestlers get 2 pts. for a win, 1 pt. for a tie or win by DQ or countout. When that portion of the tournament concludes the 4 highest point getters will move on to the semi-finals. Then it becomes a single elimination tournament for the semi-finals and the final. The winner will get a title shot at the champion in July and they'll also get a check for $10,000.
Keller: Who will be in the tournament this year?
Omega: I'm glad you asked. The following will be in the tournament:
Block A:
Killer Queen Pulsar Mutant Pit Viper
Block B:
Renegade Beast-Rider Death Knight Vanity
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Singles Match - Exo-King vs. Karate Kid Exo-King defeated Karate Kid with a Death Vise at 2:03 Match Rating: 0.50
- Exo-King Interview - Keller: I'm here with Exo-King. We've learned that at the next Deimos show he's been signed to team with Death Knight against Omega and Star Warrior. That's a very interesting match.
Exo-King: Yes, it is. I don't think they've teamed together very many times in the GWF. Which is surprising considering Star Warrior has been active for a really long time. I look forward to facing such a good opponent though. I've been having trouble climbing the rankings because I don't have that signature win.
Keller: What do you mean by signature win?
Exo-King: That win that makes a career. That win that people will look back on 20 years from now and say "That's where he jumped to the elite level." I can beat Omega as many times as I want but it will only get me so far. People realize he's lost a step in the ring and that he can't take on someone in their prime like me. I know that upsets the fans but it's just the truth. But Star Warrior, there is a man on top of the world right now. After Thantos he's considered to be the best in the galaxy. Pinning or submitting him would shoot me into the stratosphere. People might still hate me but they would have to admit that I'm one of the top stars in the galaxy.
Keller: It's time for our next match...
- Tag Team Match - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Texas Hangmen Massacre defeated Texas Hangman #1 with a Decapitator at 1:38 Match Rating: 0.50
- Gladiators of Aethra Interview - Keller: Where do you guys go from here?
Massacre: We'll do what we always do. We'll just become even more brutal and destroy even more opponents. Yeah, we lost a few days ago. It happens. A true warrior doesn't dwell on defeat. He just moves on to the next battle or the next war and he does what he knows best, FIGHT!
Keller: How do you get back in the running for the titles?
Massacre: There are only so many teams in the GWF. At some point we'll have beaten them all enough times that the Championship Committee will be forced to give us a shot at the champions. I'll tell you right now. The Gladiators of Aethra will hold the GWF Galaxian Tag Team Titles very soon. You can bet on it.
Keller: It's time for this week's main event...
- Main Event - Star Warrior vs. Ultra Man Star Warrior defeated Ultra Man with a Nova Launch at 1:00 Match Rating: 0.25
- Close - Keller: It looks like Star Warrior has something on his mind.
Star Warrior: You bet I do. I've been sitting in the back these last few months listening to Exo-King insult my father over and over again. And I'm tired of it. Exo-King, when I get you in the ring I'm going to knock you out and then let my father pin your shoulders to that mat 1...2...3. You think my family is here to make a name for yourself? Well you're just a stepping stone for my family to get to the top of this sport. You had better bring your A game. You'll need it.
Keller: Wow, strong words from Star Warrior. Well folks we're out of time for this episode of GWF Championship Wrestling. Join us next week as we'll have GWF Galaxian Champion Thantos, the Greek Gods, Omega, Killer Queen and Vanity, Mutant and Pit Viper in action. See you next week.
