I always like to see some FTR matches... One of my favorite tag teams in my FTR fed was one I created Penguins on Ice (King Tux, Chilly Fu). They were a fun duo to write for with the King Tux #NotaPenguin hashtag. Mad Maxus is another fun team to write for in that set. But there is so much you can do Undertakerish with Captain Crossbones as the undead space pirate.

It was just some of the fond memories I have playing that set.

Card#971.5 Maffei IIAs the vidcast started to broadcast, Nitro stood by himself with the arena full of fans in the background and waited a moment before he started to speak.
"Good evening everyone! A little note before the show moves on...Skiver has been released from his contract due to contractual difficulties. I wish him the best in his future endevours. Speaking of future endevours, tonight will be the debut of a star that shows promise; and although a little unorthodox, seems to be a hit with some of our younger viewers. Enjoy the show!
Cephalopodis vs. Totally Awesome Cephalopodis defeated Totally Awesome with a SEA MONSTER MASH Match Rating: 0.00 Match Notes: The animan used his agility advantage to the best of his ability and landed a moonsault before catching the Maxxus member with a SEA MONSTER MASH for the duke!
Electric Axe vs. Disciple of Terror Disciple of Terror defeated Electric Axe by count-out. Match Rating: 4.0 Match Notes: Argh! This one was rough to watch as Electric Axe used numerous underhanded manuevers to wear down the Cygnus native but it would be to no avail! DoT tossed the rulebreaker over the top rope and Electric Axe must have landed wrong because the referee was able to give him the count of ten. The referee awarded the match to Disciple of Terror via. count-out.
Blue Chip and Faller vs. Natives of Castillex Blue Chip defeated Krud with a Blue Chip Match Rating: 0.5 Match Notes: Blue Chip and Faller were simply outclassing the natives in this contest! The Castillex team put up very little resistance as Blue Chip used...well...the Blue Chip for the victory!
Armour vs. Swerve Swerve defeated Armour with a Ratings Spike Match Rating: 0.0 Match Notes: The Animan had a win streak of sorts going into the bout but would fall short as the Titan tossed him around like a ragdoll. The end came after a running lariat and Ratings Spike combo.

Card#971 Andromeda 13The broadcast begins with flashes of the first four prequalifiers of the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT with still pictures of Lope, Monolith, Chaos Supreme, and Perfect Specimen having their hands raised in victory. As the review starts to fade, the last moments of the Bex title defense of the United Stars Championship transmitted.
Plethador vs. Psi Plethador defeated Psi with a POWERHOUSE SUCTION CLAW Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The crowd favorite must have eaten his Wheaties prior to this bout as he pwn'd the Omnicronian. Psi had no answer for the Animan and after several POWERHOUSE SUCTION CLAWs, Plethador was victorious.
Balaal vs. UltraMantis Black Balaal defeated UltraMantis Black with a BITE OF THE SERPENT Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The action spilled in and out of the ring for most of the bout! Several high-flying moves were utilized but it would be Balaal executing a textbook BITE OF THE SERPENT for the duke.
- IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER - Paganax vs. Star Slayer Paganax defeated Star Slayer with an ASCENT OF THE KING Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Star Slayer tried everything to keep the Heathen Chief's shoulder down including blasting his opponent with the rifle butt. After Slayer failed a turnbuckle charge, Paganax raised his hand in victory with an ASCENT OF THE KING.
Mot and Kram introduced themselves to the vidcam and Mot commented on the main event from last card. Kram stated that Sur was going to become the new champion this evening in the Torture Chamber.
Mot fired back that Bex has provided the United Stars title with a little stability and that either one would make a great US champ!
The bi-headed announce team sent the camera back to the squared circle.
- IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER - Overtime vs. Star Warrior Overtime defeated Star Warrior with a Master Blaster Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: The Titan had no problem with his opponent and landed several high impact moves (including a beautiful suicide plancha) before putting his opponent down for the count.
- Woman's Non-Title Match - Scorn vs. Taichi Scorn defeated Taichi with a BURNING SCORN Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: A great match! Taichi tried everything to put away the challenger including several ARM TRIANGLEs. Scorn hung in the match and would manage to reach thr ropes to break up the count everytime. Scorn reversed a turnbuckle throw and landed a flying clothesline! The challenger quickly applied the BURNING SCORN to have the referee slap the mat three times.
- IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER - Bishop Hell vs. Wolf Wolf defeated Bishop Hell with an END OF THE HUNT Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: A squash match! Wolf just pulverized Bishop Hell and used a SAVAGE FACE CLAW and END OF THE HUNT manuever to qualify for the next round.
The roving vidcam illuminated the arena's vidscreen and the crowd roared their approval as the camera focused on Plethador with his nephew, Skwish. The two amphibians were celebrating Plethador's earlier victory over Psi.
"Hey unc, you're looking kinda tense;" observed Skwish,"I have something that can help you with that."
"Really? I am kinda tense...still pumped from putting the beat down on Psi and waiting for the Commissioner to call me about a title shot." Plethador replied as he moved across the bench. Unfortunately, his towel around his waist caught on the bench and fell to the floor. (The arena erupted in laughter]
His nephew quickly grabbed the towel and laid it across Plethador's lap while muttering something about not letting the ladies getting a peek at his uncle's tadpoles. [Once again, the crowd broke out in laughter]
After Plethador was situated, he held up a tube of gel towards the vidcam. "Ow-ease...when your muscle say 'ow', ease some of this on." He handed Skwish the tube and his nephew squirted a large amount of the gel on Plethador's shoulders before rubbing the gel in.
Plethador began to rock back and forth uncomfortably and asked Skwish if it was getting hot in the locker room. A few moments later. Plethador looked as if he was in pain and grabbed the tube away from the other amphibian.
"Ow-ease...liquid heat muscle pain relief!?!? How much...(he winced in pain)...of this stuff...did you put on?!?" Plethador painfully asked before frantically clambering off the bench. His towel once again fell to the floor (followed by laughter) and he made a B-line for the shower.
Skwish mumbled something like he thought a lot at the same time would relax his uncle. Skwish held up the tube to the vidcam and calmly exclaimed with a smile, "Ow-ease, ease some of this on...but not too much"
Demon Hunters vs. Ultimate Fighters Clinch defeated HelSin with a rapid elbow strikes Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: These two teams battled for close to fifteen minutes and had several nearfalls. In the waning moments, Clinch was able to school boy Helsin and then land a nasty rapid elbow strike for the win.
The arena lights dimmed slowly until the arena was completely shrouded in darkness. The vidscreen springs to life and flashes scenes of last year’s Impossible Tournament with the final scene being Endgame holding up the Galaxian Championship. A voice bellowed throughout the arena, “The most grueling tournament in GWF history is about to begin with only the victor being able to reach down deep to realize a childhood dream! The Impossible Tournament is coming soon....the final round will be held in one of the most tranquil arenas in the universe-Galactic Gardens! As if on cue, the vidscreen lit up with the FRIGHT NIGHT PaPer View marquee....Card #981..coming to Sunflower Galaxy M63...be afraid...be very afraid...
Ascension vs. The Deserters Probation defeated Tharkas with an AETHRAN HONOR Match Rating: 0.50 Match Notes: The Aethrans simply rolled Adam Traitor and Tharkas before Probabtion tagged out to Fist. The two performed AETHRAN HONOR for the duke.
- IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER/ GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP NON-TITLE MATCH - Prime Colonizer vs. Mayhem Unleashed Prime Colonizer defeated Mayhem Unleashed with a disqualification Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: This match didn't really get started as the Aethran continued to attempt to use a steel chair. Finally, the referee was far enough away that Mayhem was able to blast Prime Colonizer with the foreign object.
The referee called for the bell and awarded the match by disqualification.
Mot and Kram commented on the four that prequalified for the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT (Paganax, Overtime, Wolf, and Prime Colonizer) and Kram pointed out that Overtime seemed to be a little outgunned.
Mot replied that anything can happen on any given night and sent the vidcam back to the ring for the main event.
- United Stars Championship Title Match/ Torture Chamber - Bex vs. Sur for the United States Sur defeated Bex with a Ground Zero Bex defeated Sur with a GROUND ZERO Bex defeated Sur with a face into cage Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Sur started this match off quick and looked like he was going to put away Bex early. After several whipping Bex into the cage wall, Sur applied a version of Bex's finisher (probably as an insult) and garnered the three count.Bex fought back and started an offensive flurry of his own! He tore into the challenger and would even the score after his own version of GROUND ZERO.
The final fall stretched out for almost ten minutes with Sur ducking a Bex flying crossbody block. This caused Bex to leap into the cage. Both combatants were down!
Suddenly from the rafters, Dark Justice repeled down into the square circle! He picked up Sur and pummeled him with a ROD OF INJUSTICE!
Darkest Justice continued his assault but picked up Bex and executed a DDT before putting the limp champion's body on the challenger.
As the referee counted to three, Darkest Justice yelled, "You started something you can't finish! The darkest of justice will be served!"

Maybe Titan Samurai can win a title shot against Black Magic. Big upset for Minister of War! It looks like Titan Samurai might be the challengers to Black Magic's tag straps at FRIGHT NIGHT...unless something changes drastically change in the rankings the next 8 or so cards... Was shocked when Minister got over Shayne...the earthling used an EYE 4 EYE finisher and Minister rolled a natural 12 for a school boy roll up- followed up with an AETHRAN MASSACRE and the rest is history.
