To answer smathis' question, I would get the injured wrestlers' buddy or team mate to try and get revenge in between the time the injured wrestler came back. Just make sure that you use someone who is going to probably lose that little fued so it doesn't take the heat away from the wrestler involved. At least that is how I would do it. I can definately understand where you are coming from though, maybe you just need to decide at the end of the match if you want to roll the fued chart. Sometimes I would get doubles and think no.

I actually use a system for injuries that takes their Power and Agility into account. So if a feud happens and someone gets injured for 6 fight cards then how strong and agile the wrestler is will determine how long he will be out.
So a guy like Bruiser Brody with a Ag -1 and Pw -3 would only be out for 2 as you add up the ag and pw and subtract that from their number of fight cards. In the same situation someone like Cornetter with a +3 and +3 would actually be out longer for 12 fight cards! Proving that he has no business being in the ring with the likes of Brody and others and that he is not physically built to take the rigors of the ring.
The system works great for me and if I want a guy out longer then I do so as needed. But I find this is best when you are having issues with your roster dropping like flies when your in the middle of some great heated feuds!

I only use the feud chart for singles matches only and only if at least one of the wrestlers involved has allies. I find that this cuts down the number of injuries.

Just to add how I do injuries:
If the match ends in doubles I'll roll 2 die:
Even - I'll roll on the feud chart and make it so it's simply an injury, they will be injured for X amount of cards
Odd - I'll roll on the feud chart and the wrestler will actually be OUT of action.
If the roll is doubles when I roll for injuries, it doubles the amount for injury

I do things a bit different, when a match ends in doubles I roll one die and that is the extent of the injury and then I establish feud that way, this way a guy is out a max of 6 weeks, however if during the feud doubles are rolled sometimes I will roll two die all depending how I want this feud to go. See I like to have more of the control then having the charts decide everything.
