Hey everyone, This is Johnny Rocket on my way to the Tirion Sports Palace on Tirion for our next big card, ELEVATION! Should be a great card to witness as we tend to shake things up a bit.
Let's take a look at the line up and we'll explain a little bit about what's happening with our Main Event.
FOR THE GWFZ TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP.
The Champions: The Outlaws, Gemello and The Surgeon vs. The Nexus Cup Winners: Second Coming.
Justin Case just can't lose in this one! Being the representative of both teams, JC has a decision to make! Second Coming told him they want him in their corner. The Outlaws said "That's not happening, because he's going to be in our corner!" JC is just loving this now the friction is getting hot between the two teams and Case is pulling the strings. So who will Justin Case choose? who's corner will he be in? I guess we'll have to find out at Elevation!
FOR THE STEEL CHAMPIONSHIP!
The Champion: Shukra vs. Motor Psycho.
Another ploy that Grash has cooked up! After losing the Steel Championship and failing to regain it at the Nexus Cup, Grash has sent his big gun Motor Psycho after Shukra to try and get the title back. Grash has stated in interviews that once Motor Psycho wins the Steel Championship, he'll hand it over to it's rightful owner, Grash! Motor Psycho didn't comment on this, but one really wonders, will he do that if he wins the title? Or is Grash just dreaming? One thing is for sure, Shukra has been a fighting champion and has really shown he belongs in the Z as a champion! It's going to be tough to get that title off him, no matter who Grash throws at him!
FOR THE SUDDEN DEATH CHAMPIONSHIP!
The Champion: Magnifico vs. Torrent vs. ? ? ?
Magnifico walked away with the Sudden Death Championship yet again at the Nexus Cup PPV. Literally. He got himself deliberately counted out so he could hang on to the title! Stellar Nexus was appalled by his actions and stated that Torrent would get another shot at Magnifico at Elevation and since we're on Tirion, home of the Triple Threat Match, he made it just that, A TRIPLE THREAT MATCH with a Mystery opponent. Who will be the third man to enter the match? As always, it'll be at random just before the match will start, so it could be anyone? Maybe Tusk? What if it was Torrent's tag team partner, Clutch? Or what if it was Pariah? Oh, I just shutter to think what might happen if that were the case? ;D
FOR THE O ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Champion: Troyboy vs. Mr. Payne.
Mr. Payne has earned himself a title shot! After some impressive wins as of late, now he looks to capture the O Zone title! Troyboy just recently won his title back at the Nexus Cup over Tiberius Cota! Troyboy stated he's not about to give up his title again, especially to Payne. Payne replied "It's time for the Payne Campaign to gain a donation thanks to a certain Horseman! Some gold would do fine!"
FOR THE TIARA OF TIRION!
In tradition of the Nexus Cup, Stellar Nexus created something special for our Women of the GWFZ! The Tiara of Tirion. Coming up in the weeks prior to this PPV, 6 Triple Threat Matches will take place for the opening round. Then the Semi Finals will have 2 Triple Threat matches to determine who will go to the finals to crown the new Queen of the Z! Let's look at the brackets shall we?
Opening round we see Nightmare Nikki, Raeda and Honey Bunny. That should be an interesting bracket as I can see Raeda and Honey Bunny working over Nikki in the match, but none of these gals really care for each other, so we can expect a lot of backstabbing here.
Then we have Sabre, Nurse Elizabeth & GWFZ Woman's champ, Irish Bratz. Odd to have the Woman's Champ in the mix, but she demanded to be in it. Just because she was the champion, she did not want to be excluded and said "Every Queen should have some gold. Time for the queen to gain her crown!"
Destina vs. Lone Star vs. Saturnella. Destina has had some classic matches with Lone Star as these two have met a couple different times with each one getting a big win over the other. Now throw in one of Super Nova's star pupils Saturnella who has really blossomed into a star. I think she could be the wild card in this match.
Storm Child vs. Pitch Black vs. Miss Andromeda Mandy. Storm Child will definitely be at a disadvantage in this match. Miss Mandy has a powerful ally in Pitch Black, who has been watching her back as of late. But will Pitch Black continue to watch her back, or will she stab Mandy in the back? After all, it's for the Tiara! Mandy claims she won't and that in fact, Pitch Black will help propel her towards yet another Tiara to add to her collection! "The most Beautiful AniWoman of all time MUST HAVE that Tiara! It's inevitable!"
Vision vs. Gor vs. Avia. Super Nova's class cadets are all involved in a match. Vision, one half of Synergy with her sister Storm Child will take on the brute Gor from Dimension X and the High Flier, the masked Avia! This one should be interesting to see who pulls out the big win. Will it be Gor's brute power? Avia's quickness and lucha libre style? And will Vision be at a disadvantage with no Storm Child to tag out to? anything can happen in this thing!
Our last first round match will have newcomers to the GWFZ, Syberia & Daisy Graze. And all the way from Dimension Y, comes the Ravager female, Savi! After hearing about this Tiara of Tirion, she immediately got in contact with Stellar Nexus demanding she be put in the tournament! The former Commissioner for the aCe has something to prove, claiming that now she's going to become the Ravager Queen and since Nemean is here in the Z, she once again is hoping to catch his attention by winning the Tiara! Apparently, Savi has some sort of crush on Nemean?!? Creepy, I know!
So who's going to pull out the big wins to make it to the finals? If I were a betting man, I'd sure say Miss Andromeda, Mandy could be the odds on favorite, especially with her bag of tricks she pulls out every now and again!? But you'll have to tune in to see who makes it to the finals!!!
FOR THE GWFZ CHAMPIONSHIP
Now for the Main Event we'll have what we like to call a JACOB'S LADDER TOURNAMENT! We start out with the top 10 in the Z right now. #10 seated wrestler will square off against #9 seated wrestler. The winner of that match will move up the ladder to take on the #8 seated wrestler. The winner of that match will move up the ladder to challenge the #7 seated wrestler! And so on and so forth until we move all the way up to the Z Champ, The Phenomenal Swift, who will meet the challenge of the #1 seated wrestler, who ever that ends up being.
I really like this format, as it will give an opportunity to lower ranked guys who bust their ass to win a match and can move on up to the top as long as they can beat their competition! Definitely a good way to prove you belong where you are.
Let's look at the Ladder!
You see that #10 Tyrro will be taking on #9 G.Q. Stratus to start things off. The winner there will move on up to face #8 seated Nemean! Then we have #7 Tiberius Cota, the former O Zone Champion. At #6 we have The Messenger and right above him we see at #5, The Legacy! At #4 we have the Aethran Nightmare, Scar, and right above him at #3, we have Assassin Z.
Now this is where we have some debate as of recent. the Z committee has Torn at #2 and Pride at #1, even though Torn has repeatedly stated "I've beaten Pride, I should be #1. Pride argues, Torn lost the TRIPLE THREAT MATCH at the Nexus Cup, he should be ranked lower! Pride also reminded that he's the former champion and should be #1! Torn retaliated with "I'm a former champion too! I should be #1!!!!" Needless to say, the committee made up their mind and made Pride the #1 and Torn #2. But that's what's great about this tournament, Torn has the opportunity to move on by winning his matches and moving up to The Phenomenal Swift to get that title shot he wants so badly! It'll be put up or shut up time! Who will get the title shot against Swift? And will Swift be able to retain his title against a unknown opponent?
