MD's GWFZ

I was doing this coupled with my GWF. But I don't want to feel obligated to have to post my GWF before I can back to my GWFZ. I'm just going to repost from the beginning of it and reformat them to the newer, shorter format with match descriptions after the initial tournament.

This is in 2121. I've supplemented the roster with mid and low carders from the current GWF and brought back several older stars as the promotion has progressed.

I book this more like OVW or an older indy fed. The titles are going to change hands at a quicker pace than the regular GWF would.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #1: 02/21/2121

taped at G.W.F. Lunar Arena, Earth's Moon

Hosts are Mot & Kram and Johnny Rocket

Swarm tries to fire up the Ani-Men about the new GWFZ promotion when the Cuddley Claw speaks up. He pushes a wide variety of Cuddley Claw products. Swarm asks if there's any products that CC hasn't thought up and CC says tampons. CC starts writing down notes and says that chicks dig the Claw. Swarm walks away disgusted.

Leviathan submits Cuddley Claw with the LD 50
Claw started the match off quickly by catching Leviathan with a rugby slide. Claw hit Leviathan with a claw to the back. Claw hit the swinging huricanrana but expended too much energy and fell asleep. Leviathan kicked at Claw a little bit and then lifted him into the Spawn of Hell. Leviathan used the LD 50 and the referee called the match due to Claw being asleep. Leviathan picks up a nice win on the first episode of Wrestling Challenge.

Massif is backstage. He announces that his duties as GWF Commissioner will prevent him from also running the GWFZ. So he announces that he has appointed a commissioner to the GWFZ. The new commissioner has decided not to reveal himself at this time. Massif assures everyone that this commissioner will run the GWFZ straight down the line and fairly. He thanks everyone for their support of the GWFZ.

Doctor Payne submits Sledgend with the KO TEMPLE CLAW
Sledgend caught Payne by surprise with the Blind Side Splash. Sledgend hit a spear and then stunned Payne with a low blow. Sledgend went for a back body drop but Payne caught him with a kick. Payne blasted Sledgend with a Shining Wizard and then applied the Ko Temple Grinder to pick up the win. Doctor Payne tried his best to erase his poor performance in the GWFZ Title Tournament here. I'd say this was a good first step to rebuilding his image as a contender.

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Overtime comes down to the ring. He starts to sing his praises but Hegemony comes out and interrupts him to start the main event.

Main Event:
GWFZ Heavyweight Title Match:
Overtime (c) pins Hegemony with the CLINCHER to retain the title
Overtime caught Hegemony with an elbow uppercut and then hit the Gravity Ball Tackle. Overtime sent Hegemony into the ropes and hit a full power slam. Hegemony briefly gained control and caught Overtime with several European uppercuts and a kick to the knee. Overtime regained control and hit the Overtime Kick and a Missile Dropkick. Overtime surprised Hegemony with the Clincher and got the pin to retain the title.

Overtime celebrates in the ring and gets blindsided by the debuting Rush. Rush puts the boots to Overtime and then hits him with a Gladiator piledriver. Rush takes the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship belt and lifts it over his head and then lays it on the chest of the fallen Overtime.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #2: 2/28/2121

Hosts are Mot & Kram and Johnny Rocket

Rush is backstage. He has come to the GWFZ to prove Spike wrong. He wants to show that he's not too small to compete in the GWF. He wants to show that he can compete with the big boys of wrestling. He's going to destroy Overtime and win the GWFZ Heavyweight Title.

Dark Star Creature d. Ensor by DQ
DSC punishes Ensor with a bite to the forehead. DSC clubs Ensor with a series of forearms. DSC sends Ensor into the corner and runs over him with a running clothesline. DSC goes for a brainbuster but Ensor manages to escape. Ensor catches DSC with a whirling kick and the Ensor Elbow. DSC ducks a clothesline and applies the creature claw. DSC sends Ensor into the ropes but Ensor catches him with a sunset flip for two. Ensor tosses DSC to the outside of the ring and they brawl on the outside. Ensor rammed DSC face first into the announce table. The referee had enough and called for the DQ on Ensor. The brawl continued after the bell. DSC started pounded away at Ensor and slammed him through the announce table. Security ran out and activated DSC's shock collar to subdue him.

Nightmare Nikki announces to the GWFZ that she's looking for a big strong man to manage. She's going to scout the GWFZ talent and see who's worthy of her managerial talents.

the Surgeon pins U.S. Male with the FINAL CUT
U.S. Male sent the Surgeon into the ropes and caught him with a hip toss. U.S. Male surprised the Surgeon with a dropkick and the Surgeon bailed to the outside. The Surgeon jawed with the fans at ringside and climbed back into the ring. U.S. Male hit a forearm smash and then a kneebreaker drop. U.S. Male sent the Surgeon into the corner but charged right into a boot. The Surgeon hit U.S. Male with the Final Cut and got the pinfall victory. The Surgeon just keeps on winning in the GWFZ.

Swarm and Antak come across a merchandise stand that the Cuddley Claw has set up. Cuddley Claw is asleep and Swarm wakes him up. Swarm and Claw argue over how much Cuddley Claw eats. Antak grabs a bottle of Claw Brand Vitamins and comments that they gave him an irregular heartbeat. Claw rightfully points out the warning label that says the vitamins aren't to be taken internally.

Main Event:
Assassin X pins the Legacy with the CONTRACT KILLING
X made fairly short work of the Legacy in this match. He hit a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker and the Ax Bomber before finishing him off with the Contract Killing.

Assassin X grabs the mic. He wants everyone to remember that he had the best record during the GWFZ Title Tournament. He's really annoyed that Rush has been getting all of the attention lately. He calls on the new commissioner to do the right thing and give him the next title shot.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #3: 03/07/2121

Hosts are Mot & Kram and Johnny Rocket

Varsity and Sabre arrive backstage and notice Morbid hanging around. They complain about only getting a developmental deal with the GWF. Varsity points out Morbid and calls him a degenerate. Morbid asks Varsity if he has something to say to him but Varsity just blows him off. The Moral Majority leave and Morbid looks very annoyed.

Rush pins Plethador w/ WHAT A RUSH
Rush used a spike DDT and then the Gladiator Piledriver. Plethador got dehydrated and looked really worn down. Rush hit the Air Aethran and then finished Plethador off with What A Rush. Rush looked extremely impressive in his debut match. Overtime could be in trouble against the pint sized Gladiator.

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Overtime walks out. Overtime compliments Rush on his match and for how impressive he was. Overtime says that he really lives up to the Aethran legacy. He says he'll gladly sign a contract to defend the championship against Rush. Rush nods in agreement as Overtime walks to the backstage area.

Morbid submits Sledgend with the MORBIDLY CRUEL
Sledgend caught Morbid with several reverse knife edge chops. Sledgend sent Morbid into the ropes and hit a back body drop. Sledgend went for the Blind Side Splash but Morbid managed to duck. Morbid caught him with a reverse DDT and then a back brain kick. Morbid locked on the Morbidly Cruel and Sledgend had no choice and tapped out. Morbid gets a nice victory this week and moves closer to a title shot.

Assassin X walks into the commissioner's office. X complains about the fact that Rush is getting a title shot after one match. The commissioner doesn't respond at first and then signals for X to look at a contract when he shows annoyance. X reads it and says that it's a shot at the winner of Overtime/Rush. X says that he can live with that and leaves the commissioner's office.

Main Event:
Pride pins Doctor Payne with a belly to belly suplex
Tough loss for Doctor Payne here. Pride worked a side headlock during the early goings of the match. Payne tried to escape several times but Pride kept the hold locked in. Payne used the ropes to break the hold and tossed Pride into the ropes. Pride ducked a clothesline and caught Payne with a cross body block. Pride hit Payne with the Pride Pump Handle Slam and covered for a two count. Pride caught Payne with the Blue Chip Clothesline. Pride sent Payne into the turnbuckle but then charged right into a boot. Payne caught Pride with a side kick and then Nurse Elizabeth got involved. Payne used the distraction as a chance to apply the KO Temple Claw. Pride managed to escape the hold in the ropes. Payne applied a cobra clutch but Pride managed to break the hold. Payne tossed Pride to the outside and pummeled him with fists. Back in the ring and Payne missed a flying splash. Pride caught Payne with a belly to belly suplex and got the pin to the surprise of the crowd in attendance. Really good main event this week. Doctor Payne continues to struggle since the start of the GWFZ.

Ensor is backstage. He talks about the wild brawl he had with Dark Star Creature last week. Next week they'll be facing off again in a Titan Death Match. Ensor wants to take a moment to apologize for what the fans saw last week and for what they're going to see next week. He regrets the actions he's going to have to take to defeat DSC. The show ends with him walking away.

Very two excellent events, love the brawl between Ensor and DSC plus Pride over Payne continues the bad luck for Payne in your Z, excellent action for sure...

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #4: 03/14/2121

The camera shows Overtime knocked out backstage. Rush is walking away and throws a lead pipe down on the ground. Rush is overheard saying "See you next week."

the Legacy submits Hegemony with the INNER PEACE
Hegemony stunned the Legacy with a poke to the eyes and then hit him with a hard slap. Hegemony backed the Legacy into the corner and blasted him with a European uppercut and a kick to the knee. Hegemony sent the Legacy into the ropes but the Legacy caught him with a shoulder block. The Legacy wore Hegemony down with the Monastery Armbar. The Legacy used the Grand Abbott Ankle Lock and then locked in the Inner Peace to earn the victory via submission.

Varsity and Sabre are backstage. They both complain about the GWFZ being low class compared to the GWF. Sabre wonders if they should've accepted the contract offer from Star Warrior. Varsity reassures her that they are the only people that can clean up the GWFZ. He thinks they need to bring honor and civility to the GWFZ.

Symbiote pins Cuddley Claw with the YOURS IS MINE
Symbiote punished Cuddley Claw with rapid fire head butts and then the Entry Wound. Symbiote hit the Yours is Mine to win the match in very quick fashion. Very impressive showing from the creepy Symbiote in this match.

Symbiote continues to pound away at Cuddley Claw after the match. Swarm finally charges out and tosses Symbiote out of the ring. Swarm wants to see how brave Symbiote is against him on next week's show.

Main Event:
Titan Death Match:
Ensor pins Dark Star Creature with the Leap From Olympus
Dark Star Creature attacked Ensor as he was coming down to the ring and things became a wild brawl immediately. Ensor and DSC brawled through the crowd and finally made their way ringside. DSC and Ensor fought over ramming each other into the ring post. Ensor finally caught DSC with a knee and rammed him into the ring post. Ensor rolled DSC into the ring and climbed to the top rope and hit the Leap from Olympus for the victory. This was a wild brawl as they just went all over the building and finally ended with a big move from Ensor. Ensor looks like he's ready to take on the big boys in the GWFZ.

Ensor slowly gets to his feet and raises his arm in victory. The Dark Star Creature recovers and goes into a blind rage. He tosses Ensor out of the ring and starts trashing the ring until his handlers activate his shock collar to subdue him.
