GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #5: 3/21/2121

from G.W.F. Lunar Arena, Earth's Moon

Hosts are Mot & Kram and Johnny Rocket

Johnny Rocket catches up with GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Overtime as he enters the arena. Rocket asks if he has any words on his title defense tonight. Overtime calls Rush a punk for what he did last week. He feels that Rush thinks he's owed certain things for being an Aethran. He talks about all of the hard work that he's put in to be an elite level athlete in two different sports. He thinks that maybe Rush should try working harder instead of complaining.

Pride submits Leviathan with the PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
Before the match even started Nightmare Nikki came down to the ring. She announced that she's now the manager of Leviathan. Leviathan had Pride on the ropes early in this match. He caught him with a tilt-a-whirl slam and then the Serpent Spinebuster. Leviathan started the wear down process with the LD 50. Leviathan sent Pride into the turnbuckle and then charged right into a boot. Pride used a Pride Pump Handle Slam and then locked on the Pride and Prejudice to earn the victory via submission. Pride just keeps racking up wins in the GWFZ. If he keeps this up he should be seeing a title shot in his future.

Hegemony and the Moral Majority are backstage. Hegemony is proud to introduce his closest friends and reveals that he got them hired in the GWFZ. Hegemony talks about how wrestling is this dirty little secret and stuck in the trailer parks when it should really be the highest form of entertainment in the galaxy. He brought his friends in to help him change this fact.

Varsity is making his debut next week against Cuddley Claw. This is his first step towards achieving greatness in wrestling again. They've been stuck in third rate promotions for far too long. They're back in the big leagues and they're going to show the galaxy that wrestling is high brow entertainment.

Sabre is making her debut next week against Nightmare Nikki. She plans to give her a wrestling lesson.

Symbiote pins Swarm with the YOURS IS MINE
Swarm ambushed Symbiote as he came out for the match. Swarm smashed Symbiote into the guard rails and then into the ring post. Swarm picked up a chair and threw it right into the face of Symbiote. Swarm rolled Symbiote into the ring and then climbed to the top rope. Swarm went for a flying splash but Symbiote managed to get his knees up. Symbiote caught Swarm with the Yours Is Mine and got the pinfall to the surprise of the crowd. This was a gigantic win for Symbiote. He just defeated one of the top stars and contenders of the GWF.

Backstage Ensor is to Morbid and Pride about the possibility of forming a group in the GWFZ. Pride thinks that he would rather just team with U.S. Male from time to time and Morbid would rather work alone. Ensor asks them to keep an open mind about this. Hegemony is forming a group and it could mean trouble for everyone. Pride and Morbid agree to consider forming a group.

Main Event:
GWFZ Heavyweight Title Match:
Rush pins Overtime (c) with WHAT A RUSH to become the 2nd GWFZ Heavyweight Champion
Overtime started things off quickly with the Gravity Ball Tackle and the Clincher. Rush managed to get a foot on the ropes. Overtime tossed Rush to the outside of the ring. Rush rammed Overtime shoulder first into the ring post and then smashed his elbow into the ring post. Overtime was looking very injured as Rush tossed him back into the ring. Rush hit a decapitating punch and then the Air Aethran. Rush sent Overtime into the ropes and Overtime caught him with a clothesline. Overtime was stunned from using the bad arm but still managed to catch Rush with a spinning heel kick. Overtime went for a full power slam but the arm gave out. Rush hit a spike DDT and then hit the What A Rush to get the pinfall and the title. Excellent main event this week. Overtime never really had a chance after the injury to his arm. Rush is your new GWFZ Heavyweight Champion.

Rush grabs the mic and asks Spike if he's too small to compete in the GWF now? He just won the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship. Rush puts the belt around his waist and shows off for a booing crowd.

The 2nd Z Champion was crowned and I was wanting to see DSC win over Ensor, excellent action for sure...

DSC hasn't had a lot of luck lately. If you stay tuned in he gets a former GWF star as a tag team partner in a few shows.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #6: 03/28/2121

Hegemony and the Moral Majority are backstage. Hegemony is excited because his new group gets it's start in the GWFZ tonight. They're going to show everyone how to do it the right way in professional wrestling.

Varsity and Sabre jump in and talk about how excited they are to be back in the big leagues. They're going to show everyone in the GWFZ what real talent looks like.

Hegemony calls out Morbid as being the no. 1 enemy of the Moral Majority. He's going to face him tonight in the main event and defeat him.

Sabre d. Nightmare Nikki by DQ
Nikki stunned Sabre with a couple of stinging slaps. Sabre responded with a back heel kick and a savage kick. Sabre tossed Nikki to the outside and brutalized her with some knees on the outside. Nikki managed to get away and grab a chair. She blasted Sabre with the chair and the referee called for the DQ. Nightmare Nikki made a quick exit before Hegemony and Varisty could get to the ring. They checked on Sabre but she said she was alright and left under her own power. Sabre looked really tough in this match.

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Rush walks out to the ring. He shares his story with the fans. About how he tried to enter the GWF in 2119 and how he dominated the Aethran fighting tournaments to pick new GWF wrestlers. He won those tournaments and was denied on the grounds of being too small. Instead they sent the rebellious Havoc to the GWF. Look at how that turned out.

As Rush is talking the Aethran music hits and to his amazement Aethran War Minister Spike comes out. Spike enters the ring and takes the mic. Spike congratulates Rush on upholding the Aethran name in the GWFZ. When asked if Rush can enter the GWF he says no. He sees the GWFZ as a great opportunity for the Aethran people to develop their young warriors here. He wants them to be prepared for the GWF. He has decided that there will be an official Gladiator team in the GWFZ and that Rush is going to be the leader. Spike introduces his new teammate the female wrestler Destina. Spike wants them to make the Aethran people proud. Spike and Destina leave behind a very confused Rush in the ring.

Varsity pins Cuddley Claw with the P.C.D.
Varsity caught CC with a drop toe hold and then the teardrop suplex. Varsity went to the top rope and hit a nice looking shoulder block. Varsity used the P.C.D. to finish off CC. Varsity looked completely unstoppable in this match. Cuddley Claw didn't get in a single move here. Varsity looks like he could dominate in the GWFZ if given the chance.

Assassin X is backstage. He finds the developments with Rush to be interesting. He'll have to be extra careful when he challenges for the title. He warns Rush that he isn't some showoff like Overtime. He's a killing machine and he's out there to put people down for good. He tells Rush that his fate is defeat at the hands of Assassin X.

Main Event:
Hegemony d. Morbid by DQ
Hegemony went for a chop block early but Morbid blasted him in the face with a knee. Morbid followed up with a violent knee to the crotch. Morbid measured Hegemony and then drilled him with some overhand rights. Morbid hit a back brain kick and then followed it up with a flying knee to head. Morbid tossed Hegemony to the outside of the ring and choked him with the camera cords around the ring. The referee had enough and called for the DQ on Morbid. Morbid doesn't seem to mind the result of the match and grabs a chair and tosses Hegemony back into the ring.

Hegemony begs off a chair shot from Morbid. Morbid considers the merits of not hitting him for a few seconds and then just waffles Hegemony right in the face with it. Morbid tosses the chair out of the ring and talks some serious trash to the fallen Hegemony. Varsity and Sabre sneak out and try to drag the fallen Hegemony out of the ring. Morbid chases them away and then applies the Morbidly Cruel on Hegemony as the show ends.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #7: 04/04/2121

Hosts are Mot & Kram and Johnny Rocket

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Rush and Destina are backstage. Rush puts the entire GWFZ on notice. The Gladiators of Aethra are in the GWFZ and they'll be leaving a path of devastation behind them that has never been seen before. He mentions Assassin X and how he talks big. X is all talk until he actually steps into the ring with a top of the line Aethran warrior.

Destina calls out Sabre and Nightmare Nikki. She calls herself the undisputed queen of the GWFZ.

Varsity d. Dark Star Creature by DQ
Varsity ducks a swinging clothesline from DSC and caught him with a German suplex for a two count. Varsity hit the P.C.D. but DSC managed to kick out to the shock of Varsity. Varsity went to the top rope and hit a flying splash for a two count. Varsity tosses DSC to the outside. DSC shrugs off some punches on the outside and runs over Varsity with a clothesline. DSC lifts Varsity and slams him back first into the ring post. DSC tosses Varsity into the ring and grabs a chair. DSC goes to swing the chair but Varsity catches him with a kick. The referee calls for the DQ on DSC for bringing a foreign object into the ring. That was a terrible call by the official if you ask me. DSC never hit Varsity with the chair and most referees wouldn't have called for the DQ in that situation. Varsity of course celebrates like he just won the GWF Galaxian Championship. The crowd boos and throws trash into the ring.

Morbid appears out of the crowd with a chair. He stalks behind the celebrating Varsity. Varsity finally turns and Morbid smashes him right in the face with the chair. Morbid tosses the chair onto the fallen Varsity.

the Legacy submits Sledgend with the INNER PEACE
The Legacy survived an early barrage from Sledgend to gain control of the match. The Legacy used the 9th Chamber Torture Rack to wear Sledgend down and then applied the Inner Peace to earn the victory via submission.

Ensor and Pride are backstage. Ensor is proud to announce the formation of a new group in the GWFZ. He introduces them as the Zone Defense Fighters. They're going to be just like the Federation Defense Fighters for the GWF. They will protect the GWFZ from evil and keep it's best interests in mind.

Pride mentions that he's facing Symbiote in a few minutes. Symbiote is a man that the Zone Defense Fighters will be keeping an eye on.

Main Event:
Symbiote pins Pride with the YOURS IS MINE
Pride got off to a quick start in this match as he caught Symbiote with a hip tossand then laid into him with repeated chops. Pride sent Symbiote into the ropes and hit a back body drop and then a belly to belly suplex. Pride hit the Blue Chip Clothesline and then came off of the top rope with a shoulder tackle. Pride tossed Symbiote to the outside but Symbiote smashed him in the face with the ring bell. Symbiote smashed Pride onto the announce table and then gave him a piledriver right through the table. Back into the ring and Symbiote finished Pride off with the Yours Is Mine move. Pride's impressive winning streak comes to a halt as no one in the GWFZ seems to have an answer for Symbiote's Yours Is Mine move.

Symbiote continues to pound away at the fallen Pride until Ensor rushes out for the save. Ensor challenges Symbiote to a match on next week's show. He warns Symbiote that he's on the Zone Defense Fighter's list.

I based that on really early Kurt Angle where he'd just freak out like he won the biggest match in the history of wrestling.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #8: 04/11/2121

live from G.W.F. Lunar Arena, Earth's Moon

A commercial plays for the upcoming GWFZ Tag Team Title Tournament on April 13th. The following teams will be in the tournament:

Big Things
Assassin X and Doctor Payne
Leviathan and Symbiote
Ensor and Pride
Antak and Cuddley Claw
Hegemony and Varsity
Dark Star Creature and a mystery partner
the Legacy and Sledgend

Assassin X storms into the commissioner's office and demands to know why he's been entered into the tag team title tournament when he wants the heavyweight title. The commissioner is of course turned away from X and doesn't respond. X demands a response and the commissioner signals to an envelope on his desk. X takes the envelope and realizes that there's a $100,000 bonus for wrestling the extra matches in the tournament. X says that this will due quite nicely.

Cuddley Claw pins the Surgeon with a roll up
The Surgeon used the Orthopedic Attack on Cuddley Claw and then climbed to the top rope. The Surgeon hit a cross body block but Cuddley Claw rolled through on top and got the pin. The crowd absolutely explodes into cheers as the bell rings. Cuddley Claw looks absolutely shocked that he got the win. Swarm, Antak and Panther Warrior storm into the ring. Antak and Panther Warrior lift Cuddley Claw onto their shoulders and carry them around the ring until they realize he's fallen asleep on them. They carry the sleeping Cuddley Claw to the backstage area.

Backstage Ensor and Pride approach Morbid. They ask Morbid if he's considered their offer for the Zone Defense Fighters. Morbid says he has and that he thinks he wants to keep flying solo for the time being. Ensor mentions that they could help with the Moral Majority and even the odds. Morbid says that he thinks he can handle them alone. Ensor understands and tells Morbid that the offer is always open for him.

Morbid d. Doctor Payne by DQ
Doctor Payne continues to struggle in the GWFZ as he lost by DQ here. This match was just a wild brawl all around the ring and even into the crowd a bit. Payne managed to roll Morbid into the ring and then blasted him with a pair of brass knuckles. The referee caught him and called for the DQ. Payne was really upset at the call as he just can't get on a solid win streak.

The Moral Majority jumps Morbid on the outside of the ring. Hegemony and Varisty pound away on Morbid and toss him face first into the ring post. They hold onto Morbid so Sabre can hit a series of brutal kicks and palm strikes. Ensor and Pride wander down to the ring and chase them off. They check on Morbid.

Overtime is backstage. He asks if the GWFZ fans have missed him over the last few weeks. He announces that he's back in the GWFZ and he's going to be wrestling next week on Wrestling Challenge. He's going to start his long climb back to the top of the GWFZ. He wants the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship back. He's about to get on a roll.

Main Event:
Symbiote pins Ensor with the YOURS IS MINE
Symbiote continues to look absolutely unstoppable in the GWFZ as he completely dominated Ensor in this match. Symbiote punished Ensor with rapid fire head butts and then used the Entry Wound to soften him up. Symbiote hit a cradle piledriver and then came off the top rope with a clothesline. Yours Is Mine notches another victory for Symbiote in the GWFZ. Who can beat Symbiote at this stage in the game. He's beaten Swarm, Pride and Ensor in a really short period of time. He just looks on a level that no one else can even touch right now.

Leviathan and Nightmare Nikki walk down to the ring after the match. There's a stare down with Leviathan and Symbiote and you can cut the tension with a knife. Nikki says something to Leviathan. Leviathan extends his hand and Symbiote shakes it. Suddenly Leviathan lashes out at Ensor. He brutally stomps on Ensor in the corner. Symbiote joins in as they both put the boots to Ensor. Pride dives into the ring. He hits Symbiote with a series of right fists. Pride finally takes Symbiote down with a punch but then he gets a clothesline from Leviathan. Leviathan lifts Pride off the ground and just tosses him across the ring. Symbiote gets back to his feet and chokes Pride with his boot in the corner. Nightmare Nikki finally signals to both. She grabs the arms of Leviathan and Symbiote and lifts them into the air as the show fades to black.
