GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #36: 10/24/2121

NEW GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Pride comes down to the ring for an interview. Pride mentions that winning the GWFZ Heavyweight Title was one of the highlights of his life. He's been working hard all year so that he could get a title shot and he made the most of it. He wants to bring a sense of honor and integrity that he feels has been lacking in the world of wrestling recently. He wants to live up to the memory of men like Star Warrior, Lord Nexus, Max Shield, Ursa Major and Pulsar.

As Pride is talking, the Surgeon's music hits. The Surgeon comes down to the ring and goes nose to nose with Pride. The Surgeons talks about how he made it to the final of the initial tournament for the belt and he's never had a return match. He's waited patiently for his chance at the belt and now's his team to strike. He wants the first shot at Pride's championship and he isn't taking no for an answer.

Pride agrees to the title defense and extends his hand. The Surgeon shakes his hand and then punches Pride right in the face. The Surgeon grabs the stunned Pride and uses the Time of Death. The Surgeon puts the boots to Pride until Tristan runs out. Tristan catches the Surgeon with a springboard missile dropkick. Tristan hits the ropes but the Surgeon bails out of the ring. Tristan checks on Pride.

Cuddley Claw d. Brown Starfish with the KOALA BOMB
CC escaped a Cornhole Mutilation attempt from Starfish. CC gained control of the match and hit a springboard moonsault. The Koala Bomb finished it for CC.

Commissioner Swarm welcomes the GWFZ fans to his office. He talks more about Money In the Bank and how the winner will be able to challenge for the GWFZ whenever they want in the next calendar year. Today he will be announcing two more wrestlers in the MitB...

Torn...

Swarm mentions that there are still 3 names to be revealed, so stay tuned to future episodes of Wrestling Challenge.

Sledgend d. Rush w/ Destina by DQ
Sledgend and Rush spent most of the match brawling on the outside. Rush finally grabbed a chair and smashed Sledgend with it. The referee had seen enough and called for the DQ as a result.

Rush continues to pummel Sledgend after the bell rings. Rush hits a big chop on Sledgend and it doesn't effect him at all. Sledgend tosses Rush in the corner and goes to town on him with punches and forearms. Sledgend sends Rush into the opposite corner and levels him with a big splash. Sledgend catches Rush with a big right hand. Rush bails to the outside of the ring.

Antak comes down to the ring for his match with the New Moral Majority. Antak announces his partner for tonight...

MINOTAUR!!!

AniMen Invasion d. the New Moral Majority with the FORMICID
Both teams brawled to start the match. Minotaur ran over both Hegemony and Varsity with big clotheslines. Antak and Minotaur hit the AniMen Finish on Hegemony but Varsity made the save. Hegemony gained control of the match and caught Antak with a knee to the back of the neck. Hegemony went for a flying splash but Antak dodged the move. Antak caught Hegemony with the Formicid to pick up the win for the newly reunited AniMen Invasion.

Nightmare Niiki and GWFZ Tag Team Champions Leviathan and Symbiote are backstage. Nikki talks about how they're going to teach Ensor not to meddle in their affairs.

Main Event:
Ensor d. Leviathan w/ Nightmare Nikki with the ERUPTION OF THARSIS
Ensor hit Leviathan with the Ensor Elbow and then the Mars Moonsault. Ensor hit the Leap from Olympus and then the Eruption of Tharsis to pick up the win.

Leviathan and Symbiote try to attack but Ensor bails out of the ring and disappears into the crowd.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #37: 10/31/2121

Commissioner Swarm greets the GWFZ fans. He would like to start off this episode with a few announcements. The first announcement is that next week on this very show Rush will face Sledgend in a Titan Death Match. He didn't like what he saw last week so he wants them to get it out of their system as quickly as possible.

Secondly, it appears that Tristan has been injured by some off site attack by unknown assailants. Due to this unfortunate event, he has no choice but to name a replacement partner for Reckless for his upcoming title match. Ensor will team with Reckless to challenge Leviathan and Symbiote for the GWFZ Tag Team Titles at the Prime Time Special show next month.

Finally, he has two more names to enter into the Money in the Bank match that will also be taking place at the Prime Time Special in November...

the Legacy...

Swarm wishes both men luck in the match. He has one final name that will be revealed at a later date.

Overtime d. Korsus with the CLINCHER
Overtime used the Overtime Kick and the Rocket Spear to get Korsus down. Korsus briefly had a flurry of offense but Overtime cut him off with the Clincher to pick up the victory.

Johnny Rocket catches up with Minotaur backstage. Rocket asks if Minotaur is staying in the GWFZ or was last week a one night deal. Minotaur says that he thinks he'll hang around the GWFZ for a little while. He wouldn't mind teaming with Antak a little more and he's eying the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship too.

Doctor Payne w/ Nurse Elizabeth d. the Legacy with the KO TEMPLE CLAW
The Legacy hit a double stomp on Payne and then locked on the Grand Abbott Ankle Lock. Payne managed to get to the ropes. The Legacy went for a flying splash off the top rope but Payne managed to move. Payne locked on the KO Temple Claw to pick up the victory.

Reckless enters the Zone Defense Fighters locker room and finds Ensor. Reckless mentions that he's been grateful for the help Ensor has provided Tristan and him in the past. But, this tag team is just going to be temporary. His main priority is TitanGlory, not this makeshift team. His main reason for accepting this solution is because he wants to take the GWFZ Tag Team Title belts away from Leviathan and Symbiote more than anything. He just wants things to be out in the open. Ensor says that he can respect where Reckless is coming from.

Torn d. Death Knight II w/ Death Knight with the TRAUMATIZED
DKII caught Torn with the Cosmic Lance. Torn managed to gain control and tossed DKII into the ropes. Torn hit a big back body drop and then hit a flying knee drop off the top rope. Torn used Traumatized behind the referee's back and stunned the crowd by defeating Death Knight II. DKII suffers his first loss in the GWFZ.

The Surgeon is backstage with Johnny Rocket. The Surgeon says that it's about time he got a shot at the GWFZ Heavyweight Title. He made it to the final of the initial tournament for the belt and the guys in charge just kind of forgot about him. That's why he decided to interrupt Pride's victory speech last week. It's time for him to get his rightful rematch for the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship.

Main Event:
Saint Bernard d. Morbid with a spinebuster
This was a real wild one. Bernard and Morbid brawled all throughout the arena. They even fought their way into the concession stand where Morbid smashed Bernard's face right into the popcorn popper. They brawled their way back towards the ring when Varsity clubbed Morbid in the knee with a crowbar as he was getting into the ring. Bernard took advantage of the situation and hit a high angle powerbomb and then a tombstone piledriver. Bernard used the Rescue Mission but it wasn't enough to put Morbid away. Bernard slammed Morbid on his head with a spinebuster and covered to pick up the victory.

Varsity comes into the ring and congratulates Saint Bernard on his victory over Morbid. The show fades to black with Varsity raising Bernard's arm in victory.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #38: 11/7/2121

The show opens with Death Knight directing traffic as Death Knight II pounds on Torn in the ring. DKII tosses Torn into the corner and rips into him with a series of knife edge chops. Sledgend rolls into the ring and levels Death Knight II with a clothesline. Sledgend flexes and screams to show off but doesn't see Morbid sneak up behind him with a chair. Morbid smashes Sledgend right in the head with the chair. Sledgend doesn't go down with the first shot. Morbid hits Sledgend again but Sledgend just flexes this time. The Legacy jumps in the ring and with Morbid they take Sledgend down with a double clothesline. Morbid high fives the Legacy and then tosses him out of the ring.

The arena darkens a bit and Commissioner Swarm appears on the screen. Swarm figured this would be as good a time as any to introduce the final member of the Money in the Bank match...

Music hits...

Umagapotamus stalks down to the ring. Morbid charges but Umagapotamus lifts him and hits a samoan drop. Torn and the Legacy try to attack but Umagapotamus pounds away at both of them and then hits a double noggin knocker. Sledgend climbs into the ring and they stare each other down. Umagapotamus and Sledgend wildly punch at each other. Sledgend gets the best of Umagapotamus and backs him into the corner. Sledgend tries to send him into the ropes but Umagapotamus lifts him into a samoan drop. Death Knight II climbs into the ring and has a stare down with Umagapotamus as the crowd goes crazy. Death Knight II backs off and climbs out of the ring. Umagapotamus stands in the ring with the bodies of his victims surrounding him.

Cuddley Claw d. Hegemony by DQ
CC went for a swinging hurricanrana but he fell asleep. Hegemony covered but couldn't get the pinfall. Hegemony used the Hegemonic Borders but couldn't secure the victory. Hegemony worked CC over with a neck crank and then hit a knee to the back of the neck. Hegemony tossed CC out of the ring. Hegemony beat on CC outside of the ring until the referee called for the disqualification. Hegemony couldn't believe it and argued with the referee as they walked to the backstage area.

Nightmare Nikki and GWFZ Tag Team Champions Leviathan and Symbiote come down to the ring. She can't believe their luck. Someone injured Tristan so now they can defend the belts against a makeshift team in Ensor and Reckless. Not only can they finally move past TitanGlory but they can get rid of Ensor at the same time too.

Minotaur d. Varsity with the MINOTAUR'S CHARGE
Varsity seemed off his game in this match. Minotaur took him down and pounded on him with elbow strikes. Minotaur caught him with the Minotaur's Charge to pick up the victory.

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Pride is backstage. The Surgeon is going to be a tough opponent due to his big moves the Final Cut and the Time of Death. The Surgeon can seemly hit those moves from anywhere. It's going to be a tough first title defense but he thinks he'll be up to the challenge. He wants to hold on to this belt for a really long time.

the Surgeon d. Dark Star Creature with the TIME OF DEATH
DSC clubbed the Surgeon with big forearms. DSC choked the Surgeon and tossed him to the mat. The Surgeon caught DSC with the Time of Death and covered for the victory. The Surgeon is walking into his title match on a four match win streak.

Dr. Cube and Umagapotamus are backstage. Dr. Cube says that Umagapotamus is a shoe in to win the Money in the Bank match. He just destroyed his fellow competitors earlier in the evening. You're looking at the next GWFZ Heavyweight Champion.

Sledgend hit the Electric Chair and then tossed Rush out of the ring. Rush slid into the ring and cut Sledgend off with stomps. Rush hit What A Rush to pick up the victory.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #39: 11/14/2121

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion Pride and Sniper come down to the ring. Pride talks about how there's finally someone of moral quality holding the belt. He sees the fans really responding to an upstanding citizen holding the belt. No more loud mouths, killers or scumbags holding the belt. It's time someone brought some honor to this belt.

Pride changes subjects to the Surgeon. He dislikes the Surgeon and his methods but he feels the Surgeon has earned a shot at this belt. He's a little surprised that he and the Surgeon haven't fought in the past. But he's been studying the Surgeon and he's found that he's a superior physical specimen. The Surgeon relies on outsmarting his opponents and underhanded tactics. He's ready for the Surgeon, he'll be keeping this belt for just awhile longer.

Dark Star Creature and Korsus d. Antak and Plethador with a cross body block
Korsus caught Plethador with a cross body block and covered for the pinfall. DSC and Korsus pick up another win in the GWFZ. Word is that they're in line for a shot at the winner of the Leviathan/Smybiote vs. Ensor/Reckless title match.

Morbid is backstage. He's been less successful in the GWFZ than he'd like to be. But that's where the Money in the Bank match comes into play. This is his chance to put the losses behind him. It's a chance to earn a shot at the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship. If he can win the belt, it will make everyone forget the struggles he's had this year.

Brown Starfish d. Assassin X with the CORNHOLE MUTILATION
It looked as if X was looking ahead to his match with Varsity at the Prime Time Special. Starfish locked on the Cornhole Mutilation and X was forced to tap out. Starfish runs around the ring afterwards giving the fans high fives. Starfish has picked up his first win in the GWFZ.

Ensor catches up with Reckless backstage. Ensor says that he understands that Reckless is loyal to Tristan. That doesn't matter to Ensor. He just wants to win the tag team titles and finally beat Leviathan and Symbiote. Reckless says that he can respect that.

Umagapotamus w/ Dr. Cube d. Scimitar with the SAMOAN HIPPO SPIKE
Umagapotamus caught Scimitar with a kick to the face. Umagapotamus hit the Super Samoan Drop and then used the Samoan Hippo Spike to pick up the win. Umagapotamus remains undefeated in the GWFZ.

Dr. Cube takes the mic. He says that you're looking at the next GWFZ Heavyweight Champion. Death Knight II wanders down to the ring with his manager Death Knight. He climbs into the ring and stands chest to chest with Umagapotamus. The crowd goes crazy as the two men stare each other down. Dr. Cube calls Umagapotamus off. They head to the backstage area as Death Knight II stands in the ring and stares them down.

Main Event:Symbiote w/ Nightmare Nikki d. Overtime with YOURS IS MINE
OT caught Symbiote with the Gravity Ball Tackle. OT came off the top rope with an elbow drop. OT caught Symbiote with the Clincher but Symbiote kicked out. Symbiote managed to catch OT with the Entry Wound behind the referee's back. Symbiote tossed OT out of the ring and smashed him into the ring steps. Symbiote rammed OT into the ring apron and then rolled him back into the ring. Symbiote used the rapid fire head butts and then used Yours Is Mine to pick up the win.

GWFZ Prime Time Special #2: 11/18/2121

Doctor Payne and Nurse Elizabeth walk into Commissioner's Swarm's office. Payne is glad that Swarm has finally given him the opportunity to beat him down in the middle of the ring. He's going to enjoy every moment of this. Swarm tells Payne that he might be asking for more than he can handle. They'll just have to see in a couple of days.

GWFZ Women's Title Match:
Destina (c) d. Nightmare Nikki by DQ
Nikki used the bite of the vampire and then tossed Destina out of the ring. Nikki rammed Destina face first into the ring post. The referee had seen enough and called for the disqualification.

Commissioner Swarm has some big announcements for the fans of the GWFZ fans. The first announcement is that the GWFZ Wrestling Challenge show is getting more time. The show will now feature 5 matches a week instead of 4 matches.

The second announcement is that the GWFZ will be adding a second singles championship, the GWFZ O-Zone Championship. There will be an man tournament involving Saint Bernard, Cuddley Claw, Hegemony, the Legacy, Sledgend, Varsity, Ensor and Torn. The tournaments will take place over the next few weeks. The final will be right at New Years as the GWFZ will have the first match of 2122. So stay tuned.

Saint Bernard d. Cuddley Claw with the RESCUE MISSION
CC fell asleep and Bernard hit a tombstone piledriver. Bernard used the Rescue Mission to pick up the win.

Ensor is backstage. Tonight the reign of terror of Leviathan and Symbiote come to an end. They've held on to the belts for a long time and their reign can be counted in a matter of minutes.

Minotaur d. Rush w/ Destina by DQ
This match turned into a wild brawl almost immediately. Rush was eventually disqualified for refusing to break a choke hold.

Rush and Minotaur continue to brawl until security pulls them apart.

Overtime d. Dark Star Creature with the CLINCHER
DSC really beat on Overtime for the entire match. He used the Milky Way but couldn't put the match away. Overtime managed to gain control of the match and caught DSC with the Rocket Spear. OT hit the Titan Drop and then used the Clincher to pick up the victory.

Overtime grabs the announcer's mic. He wants Commissioner Swarm to know that he's gunning for a title shot. He isn't going to take no for an answer.

Assassin X d. Varsity by DQ
Varsity hit a teardrop suplex and then the P.C.D. but couldn't put it away. X bailed out of the ring and Varsity came after him. They brawled back and forth until the referee called for the DQ on Varsity.

Varsity is in utter disbelief. He argues with the referee until Hegemony and Sabre come out. Hegemony and Sabre join in the argument. The referee refuses to break down. Hegemony acts like he's going to hit the referee but backs off at the last minute.

Money In the Bank:
Torn d. Morbid, Death Knight II, the Legacy, Sledgend and Umagapotamus to win the Money In the Bank title shot briefcase
Torn made an early attempt to climb the ladder but Umagapotamus pulled him off the ladder and used the Super Samoan Drop. Sledgend grabbed the Legacy and slammed him through a table while Death Knight II and Morbid brawled. Torn managed to dropkick Umagapotamus out of the ring and climbed the ladder and successfully grabbed a briefcase.

The Surgeon is backstage. He has been waiting for his rematch for the belt for 9 months now. It's been far too long of a wait. But he plans to make the most of his chance tonight and win the belt.

GWFZ Tag Team Title Match:
Ensor and Reckless d. Leviathan and Symbiote (c) w/ Nightmare Nikki by DQ
This one spilled out of the ring very quickly like all of the champs' matches do. Leviathan and Symbiote brutally attacked Ensor and Reckless out of the ring. The referee saw enough and called for the disqualification.

Leviathan and Symbiote stand in the ring when Dark Star Creature and Korsus come out. They climb into the ring and stare down the champs. DSC and Korsus attack and both teams brawl until security pulls them apart.

Main Event:
GWFZ Heavyweight Title Match:
the Surgeon d. Pride (c) with the TIME OF DEATH
Pride hit the Pump Handle Slam and tossed the Surgeon out of the ring. The Surgeon smashed Pride into the announce table and then tossed him back in the ring. The Surgeon caught Pride with the Time of Death and covered to pick up the win and the title.

The Surgeon stomps on Pride and tosses him out of the ring. The Surgeon puts on the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship belt as the show fades to black.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #40: 11/21/2121

Doctor Payne and Nurse Elizabeth are backstage. Payne is excited because tonight he finally gets his shot at Swarm in the ring. Swarm has been messing with him for months and abusing his power as the GWFZ Commissioner. It's payback time tonight.

Sniper d. Hunger by DQ
Sniper caught Hunger with a series of bolt action punches. Sniper caught her with the Target Practice but Hunger managed to kick out. Sniper tossed Hunger out of the ring. Hunger smashed the time keeper's bell into Sniper's head to draw the disqualification.

Backstage. Hegemony asks Torn if he plans to use his Money in the Bank title shot right away. Torn says that he's going to wait for just the right moment to claim his title shot. He wants to make the most of it.

Big Things d. Antak and Plethador with the BLACK FUNERAL
Gryt used the Coronary on Plethador and tagged the Betrayer in. The Betrayer used the Total Betrayal and then the Black Funeral to pick up the win.

GWFZ Heavyweight Champion the Surgeon comes down to the ring. Just as he begins to speak, Overtime's music hits. Overtime walks down to the ring and takes the mic away from the Surgeon. Overtime points out that he beat the Surgeon for that very belt back in February in the final of the tournament. Overtime says that he's been patiently waiting for his chance to regain the belt. Now seems like the perfect time.

The Surgeon agrees. He's been waiting to avenge that loss for quite some time. He wants Overtime to feel the pain of being denied the belt.

GWFZ O-Zone Title Tournament:
Sledgend d. Torn with the SHATTERING DEVASTATION
Sledgend used the Shattering Devastation to quickly put Torn away. Sledgend progresses to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Johnny Rocket catches up with Minotaur backstage. Rocket asks if he and Rush have some unfinished business. Minotaur says that there is. He came to the GWFZ because he wants to still be a relevant player in the world of wrestling. He came to the GWFZ to either win the GWFZ Tag Team Titles with Antak or to become the GWFZ Heavyweight Champion. Right now, Rush is standing in the way of his progression up the ladder.

GWFZ O-Zone Title Tournament:
the Legacy d. Hegemony with the INNER PEACE
Hegemony locked on a half Boston crab but the Legacy got into the ropes. Hegemony came off the top rope with a knee drop but the Legacy moved. The Legacy used the Street Fight and then locked on the Inner Peace to pick up the victory. The Legacy progresses to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Backstage. Security has broken up a brawl between GWFZ Tag Team Champions Leviathan and Symbiote and Dark Star Creature/Korsus.

Main Event:
Doctor Payne w/ Nurse Elizabeth d. Swarm with the KO TEMPLE CLAW
This one was an all out brawl. Swarm used the Bee Keeper Backbreaker and the Andromeda Drop. Swarm tossed Doctor Payne out of the ring and they brawled all through the arena. Swarm tossed Doctor Payne back in the ring but Nurse Elizabeth grabbed his leg as he tried to get back into the ring. Payne caught Swarm with a side kick and then a spinning back kick. Payne used the KO Temple Claw to pick up the victory.

GWFZ Wrestling Challenge #41: 11/28/2121

Rush storms through the backstage area. He spots Minotaur and they charge at each other. They exchange a furious series of punches and forearms at each other. Security tries to subdue both men but Rush breaks free only to be tackled by Minotaur. Minotaur blasts Rush with punches to the face until security pulls him off. Rush is visibly bleeding from his forehead and nose as the camera cuts out.

Leviathan w/ Nightmare Nikki d. Brown Starfish by count out
Leviathan sent Starfish into the corner and nailed him with a big clothesline. Leviathan tossed Starfish out of the ring and then body slammed him onto the cement. Leviathan rolled back into the ring and Starfish was unable to answer the count. Leviathan wins by count out.

Overtime is backstage. He talks about how he can beat the Surgeon with one arm tied behind his back. He is a superior physical specimen. He is an athlete in his prime. He's quick, he's strong and he's explosive in the ring. What does the Surgeon have going for him? He's a pale and pasty nerd that has delusions of playing wrestler in the ring. Sure, he's the current GWFZ Heavyweight Champion but that's a fluke more than anything.

Pride d. Scimitar with the PRIDE AND PREJUDICE
Pride was looking to bounce back from losing the GWFZ Heavyweight Championship to the Surgeon in this match. Pride caught the Surgeon with a belly to belly suplex and then locked on the Pride and Prejudice to pick up the win.

Doctor Payne and Nurse Elizabeth are backstage. Payne gloats over defeating Swarm in the middle of the ring last week. It looks like Swarm was all talk. Payne plans to hold the match over Swarm's head for a very long time.

Umagapotamus w/ Dr. Cube d. Dark Star Creature by DQ
Umagapotamus caught DSC with the Super Samoan Drop and then used the Samoan Hippo Spike. DSC managed to survive the onsalught and started to fight back. DSC used the Primal Rage and by this time the referee had seen enough and called for the disqualification.

Umagapomtaus and DSC continue to brawl after the bell. Umagapotamus grabs the time keeper's bell and beats DSC with it until DSC stops moving. Dr. Cube calls Umagapotamus off and they head to the backstage area as medical teams arrive to check on DSC.

A video package highlights the Legacy defeating Hegemony and Sledgend defeating Torn to progress to the semi-finals on last week's show.

GWFZ O-Zone Title Tournament:
Cuddley Claw d. Varsity with the KOALA CLAW
CC dodged a dropkick and then locked on the Cuddley Sleeper. CC used the Koala Claw and Varsity was forced to tap out. The crowd was shocked as Cuddley Claw progresses to the semi-finals.

Johnny Rocket catches up with Sniper backstage. He asks if she's ready to face GWFZ Women's Champion Destina for the belt next week. Sniper says she's been dying to get back into the ring with Destina since they first fought in September. She wants that belt around her waist.

GWFZ O-Zone Title Tournament:
Ensor d. Saint Bernard with the ERUPTION OF THARSIS
Saint Bernard used a high angle powerbomb and then a tombstone piledriver to get Ensor down quickly. Bernard hit the Clothesline From Doggy Heaven but Ensor managed to kick out. Bernard used the Rescue Mission but it couldn't put Ensor away either. Bernard came off the top rope with a flying splash but Ensor dodged the move. Bernard stumbled to his feet and walked right into the Eruption of Tharsis. Ensor covers to score the pinfall and progresses to the semi-finals.

Morbid and Death Knight II run into each other backstage. Morbid tells DKII that he's been itching to get his hands on him. DKII nods at Morbid. Morbid says that he's going to have to get Swarm to sign a match as he leaves the arena.
