Breaking news today as Earth's famous EGW has announced that it is going galactic. Chuck Clouser, Jr. owner of EGW, told the media this morning that it was going to be expanding its operations and territory by including the galactic market in the upcoming weeks. This announcement culminated with the unveiling of the companies change in name from Earth Global Wrestling to a more suitable Extreme Galaxian Wrestling. The company is a little under ten years old, but is home to such wrestling starts as: Gamma the Galactic Gladiator, Rottweiler Dan, Cernunnos, Scorpion, Mad Hatter, Magic, Jack the Ripper, Death Watch, Money Man, D-Ho Winsley and Gigantos. Along with the announcement of going galactic, EGW also announced that it was also opening up the doors to women's wrestling. Mr. Clouser himself had the following to say, "We are also going to be recruiting women wrestlers into EGW in the next few weeks, so that we might compete with more established wrestling federations. Although Earth has seen a decline in woman's wrestling over the years, the fact is that there is still a market out there, and we expect to capitalize on that. Please look for women wrestlers here in the EGW as well as a new Woman's Championship belt in the upcoming months." With all of these changes in-line for EGW, who knows what the future will hold?
