I was just reading through some other threads, and I noticed a comment about the new GWF FILES. I must admit that I'm surprised that there isn't already a review thread started for the latest edition. The update is fabulous, and it's a must-have for anyone who plays this game!!
I love the GWF FILES because all of the little things like finisher descriptions, heights, weights and concise summaries of each wrestler are bundled into one book. The latest (online) edition not only gives you this stuff in one tidy package, but it includes a full roster of wrestlers, a list of all GWF (and other) tag teams, a comprehensive titles history, and my new favorite section: a guide to the COTG universe. This section details the planets and the relation between stars and their homeworlds in similar fashion to the wrestler summaries.
So far, my only gripe about the latest edition is that it did not release in book format (it's currently only available in online download PDF file). Being a consistency nerd, the print-out version doesn't look as good or as uniform as the first and second volumes. Trust me, this is a small gripe that in no way diminishes the value of the update.
Bottom line; this is $20.00 well spent. If you're a wrestler stat/finisher nerd like I am, or if you just want the latest updates on wrestlers, homeworlds, arenas and COTG feds, you have to hit the online store link and buy this book now.

Does the new edition have a title history that shows who held the belt from when based on the GWF Promoter? I always thought it was cool when the books had rankings in them to show me a general ranking system for all the superstars. My fed didn't necessarily follow it, but I liked it. And the coolest thing I ever saw in the GWF had to be when Matador when the Mega-Tournament award. I'd like to see more things like that happen throughout the GWF books to really establish the GWF as a living, breathing federation. Wrestler of the Year, etc.

If you really want to see the GWF and the other feds as living breathing things, I can honestly say you'd love this. The history, the discussion about the COTG Metaverse....it's awesome and incredibly useful if you're a continuity nut.
