Card #6 - 1/22/25 Monday Night Mayhem Denebola Spiral Arm Stadium - Leo The opening video package picks up where we left off last week with Commissioner Drury finding a teddy bear on his desk to close the broadcast, and his subsequent look of disbelief and even fear. We then see a flashback to last November’s Solar Slam Pay-Per-View. After a match between Sly Drury and Hector the Holy Brown Bear, where Drury was counted out after running away from Hector’s onslaught, Hector chased Drury into the backstage area only to be jumped by the GWF Security Squad, beaten down, and thrown into the back of a space craft which was piloted away. We then see a shot of the bloody bear mask laying on the ground and a shot of Drury from the following Monday Night Mayhem saying how he has dealt with his little problem and we will never be hearing from Hector again! Flash forward again to last week with a close-up of Drury’s trembling face and then a pan in on the bear lying on his desk. The opening to Monday Night Mayhem is shown and pyro explodes as does the sold out crowd here at the Denebola Spiral Arm Stadium in Leo. Your announcers tonight are DRAGONMASTER and JOHNNY ROCKET, with MOT AND KRAM running interview duty… Shocking Return COMMISSIONER DRURY is out to start the broadcast with his GWF Security Squad surrounding him. Drury is furious and demands that the footage that was just shown of him from last week never be shown again or the entire production team will be fired, he also demands to know whose idea of a sick joke this is as he hold up the teddy bear? Whoever left this in his office is going to regret the day they ever crossed his path! Suddenly, the Commissioner is interrupted as we hear a familiar voice… the voice of Hector HECTOR THE HOLY BROWN BEAR! (NOTE: When Hector speaks, it is a muffled/synthesized voice... very horror-flickish) Hector appears on the video screen above the entrance ramp as Drury nearly collapses from shock and looks like he has just seen a ghost. Hector tells Drury that he thought he could make all of his problems just go away, but he was wrong! A video then plays of what happened after the events from Solar Slam shown in the opening video tonight. The ship lands and the pilots remove their helmets to reveal CLINCH and SHOOT! The two help Hector to his feet and the three are joined by THE DARK MENACE and another man whose face is hidden by a cloak. The Dark Menace smiles and begins to reveal their next steps before the video cuts out. Drury is furious and begins to scream at the monitor and shake the ring ropes. Hector laughs and tells Drury that he is very disappointed in him. He didn’t play fair and now Hector is going to reveal a little more about Drury’s secret. As if things weren’t bizarre enough already, organ music similar to what you might hear in a church begins to play over the loudsystem. Drury freaks out and yells for production to cut the music. When it stops, he looks exhausted and wearily tells Hector that he wins and asks him what he wants. Hector admonishes Drury for abusing his power as commissioner and says that things are going to change around here. He is going to give Drury a taste of his own medicine and he is going to call some shots now. It’s simple… whenever he makes a demand, Drury will comply, or he will reveal more details about his “secret”. Drury is furious, but realizes he has no choice. Hector laughs and says he knew Drury would see things his way. While Drury will be hearing more from him in the immediate future, for now the Ultimate Fighters will be added to the Tag Team Title match at the Cosmic Clash, making it a triple threat match! While DragonMaster, who has been publically vocal about Drury’s power trip while on commentary, fails to hold back his enthusiasm over the commissioner’s misfortune, Hector laughs and Drury seethes in the ring and we head to commercial. *** Commercial *** Infinity Challenge Tag Team Championship Match w/ Two Referees The Leaders of the Pack won the match by disqualification at 12:52 Following the events at Deimos Perennial where Dark Futures won the Infinity Challenge Tag Team Titles after Tricks used a foreign object on his opponents while the referee was knocked out, a rematch was scheduled for tonight. To ensure that the contest was fair this time, two referees were assigned to officiate the bout. The match was a fairly even back and forth contest with both teams nearly winning on several occasions. Toward the end of the match, the Leaders of the Pack managed to take control by isolating Oracle from tagging his partner. Just as it looked like the AniMen would win the belts, Tricks jumped into the ring sprayed Malkuth in the face with a substance from the flower on his jacket, drawing the intentional disqualification. Malkuth grabbed his face and howled in pain as the referees signaled for the bell. *** Commercial *** Inside the Infinity Challenge Locker Room We come back from the commercial to see Tricks and oracle laughing in the Infinity Challenge locker room. Bloodline confronts them and asks what they think they are doing. Tricks takes offense to the line of questioning from his captain and responds that the last time he checked the point scoring system, Team Abroz gets a point for defending the titles with a disqualification and Team Dialectas gets no points for a win by disqualification… the best of both worlds, and they’re still the champs. He laughs and points to his head saying that it isn’t his fault Bloodline’s not as smart as he is. If he was, maybe he’d be a champion right now. Bloodline gets in his face, to which tricks responds ‘what are you going to do about it old man?’ before laughing again. Team Abroz’s captain fires back by saying we’ll see how smart they are next week, because he was just told Dark Futures would have to defend the titles again but this time a disqualification would lose them the titles. Tricks became irate but thought better of continuing the confrontation and left with Oracle. At the point, U.S. Male approached Bloodline and commended him, saying he respected how he was trying to keep things fair and promote clean competition and good sportsmanship. He said he knows they have had their differences in the past, but he still looks up to and respects him as a competitor, and because of that he wanted to give him another shot at the Infinity Challenge Title at Cosmic Clash. Bloodline looked contemplative for a moment, then smiled and accepted the offer. The two shook hands as we head out to the ring… Vidtek’s Video Lounge With special guest, Tristan Vidtek promised to give Tristan equal time on his show this week to respond to everything his former partner, Nitro, said about him the previous week. As Tristan made his way to ring to join Vidtek, we quickly realized it was all a sham as Nitro emerged onto the entrance ramp wearing one of Tristan’s masks and using their old tag team entrance theme. Vidtek, Nitro’s Infinity Challenge teammate, tried to play the whole thing off straight but was clearly holding back laughter each time he referred to Nitro as Tristan and heard his responses. When Vidtek asked Nitro questions, he would mock Tristan by speaking in an over-animated boy-scout kind of way and making himself (Nitro) look good in the answers and Tristan look like a coward or an idiot. Finally the two broke down laughing at one point before Tristan’s music played over the loudsystem and the real deal emerged from the back. He made his way to the ring to confront his former partner, asking him how we could do this, how he could turn his back on his friends? Suddenly the music of the Master Race played and they made their way to the ring as well. Nitro ripped off his mask and told Tristan to look around him, that we was with his real friends! The four men then began to circle Tristan menacingly, before he got a shot of on Nitro and quickly bailed to the floor where he was joined by The Betrayer, Mantis and Gryt. The eight men talked trash on each other as we head to commercial. *** Commercial *** Beer Drinking Challenge The challenge was declared a no contest As the rivalry based on one-upmanship continued, a table was set up in the ring with several large mugs of beer lined up on each end. As Tanck and American Guy took their positions in front of the mugs, the rules were explained to everyone. The first competitor to finish his mugs of beer would be declared the winner. An air horn was blown to indicate the start of the challenge and American Guy quickly began to chug the first mug, making quick work of it and moving on down the line. Tanck quickly fell behind and, when he realized his opponent was almost finished, he attacked him from behind, smashing one of the glass mugs over his head. He then overturned the table on his fallen foe, covering him in beer before stomping at the table and finally placing one foot on his top of the wreckage and flexing to the booing crowd. A Paralyzing Confrontation We see Anivar backstage warming up and stretching for his match with Encubus next. As the self-proclaimed Enforcer begins to make his way toward the entrance ramp to the ring, he is stopped by Paralyze who steps in his way. After their confrontation last week, the fans buzzed as they knew something might be about to go down. Anivar flashed him a cocky grin and started to ask the Aethran if he wanted a piece of him, but before he could finish his question, Paralyze decked him with a huge right hand and hit him with a double axehandle to the back of the neck as he bent forward. He continued the assault by grabbing him by the hair and slamming him face first into some large equipment crates that were nearby. As Anivar lay crumpled on the floor, Paralyze stood over him laughing and said maybe this will teach him some respect. *** Commercial *** Encubus pinned Anivar at 14:01 As Encubus made his way to the ring, his entrance video on the giant holoscreen above the entranceway began to distort and started to play his father’s entrance video from his early days as the rule-breaking Gamemaster. Encubus appeared even more visibly upset than the previous time this occurred at Deimos Perennial and began to shout obscenities back towards the production crew backstage who threw their hands in the air indicating they were just as surprised as he was. In a match that saw a now furious Encubus deal out quite a bit of punishment to a battered, yet resilient Anivar, the Dark Prince’s onslaught was eventually too much for the Enforcer as he fell victim to a Second Coming before getting rolled up for the pin. After the match, we see a grinning Paralyze watching on a monitor backstage, pleased at the outcome. Delivering a Message As the announcers recap what just occurred and get ready to send us to a commercial break, they are interrupted by Patch’s music. He makes his way to the announce table and says he is here to deliver a message from the Commissioner. He has a video package played which includes several clips from the past few weeks of DragonMaster being critical of Drury’s job as commissioner, accusing him of abusing his power and even rejoicing earlier tonight when Hector one-upped him. After the video played, Patch told the Hall of Famer that the Commissioner didn’t appreciate his comments and felt he needed to taught a lesson, at which point he grabbed him by the jacket and violently ripped him from his seat, over the announce table and threw him in the ring. Johnny Rocket began to rise out of his seat, telling Patch to stop it before Patch shot him a look as to say ‘shut your mouth, or you’re next’. Patch then slid into the ring and began to stalk DragonMaster who has yet to get to his feet. Suddenly, Payback’s music began to play and he rushed the ring, coming to his fellow Titan’s aid, brandishing a chair. He took a swing at Patch and nearly connected before he dropped to the mat and rolled out of the ring. Patch stared both men down as he backed up the ramp and Payback checked on the fallen announcer, helping him to his feet. *** Commercial *** The Mind Games Continue When we return from the commercial, we see Encubus returning to the locker room after his match. When he opens his locker his face becomes beat red and he flies into a rage. We soon see why as he pulls out, one after another, classic wrestling magazines with pictures of his father on the cover. The camera reveals that his entire locker is full of them as he begins to rip them to pieces and throw them about the locker room before overturning the bench and throwing chairs against the wall. Johnny Rocket is alone on announce duties as DragonMaster did not return following his confrontation with Patch. GWF Womens Championship Match Strafe retains the GWF Womens Title in a handicap match (with Mother Superior) against Phantasy via pinfall at 3:15 Phantasy was pretty much helpless, as would be expected, against her two foes. As a stipulation placed on the match by Co-Commissioner Drury, Sultana was banned from interfering during the match or else both she and Phantasy would be fired. While mounting a brief flurry of offense, Phantasy eventually fell to the numbers game and ultimately was taken out by a Ground Zero from the champion followed by an easy pin. After the match, Sultana stormed the ring and prevented an attempted double team beatdown on an unconscious Phantasy. Strafe and Mother Superior motioned to Sultana that thins weren’t over between them and warned that she would be next. *** Commercial *** Calling Out the Heathen Chief When we return from the commercial break, Endgame makes his way out to the ring as the crowd goes crazy. He asks for silence as he has something very important to talk about. He has a clip played of the events that occurred last Monday night, showing Paganax make his GWF debut and chokeslam Ensor before staring down Endgame. Endgame then addresses the Heathen Chief, saying he hopes he is listening somewhere. He begins to discuss their history together. He talks about how he lent his support by reaching out to the Great Alliance of Centra following the great war in that dimension, siding with Paganax against Syndicate Tech and defending his right to remain on Primus. He then talked about how he helped Paganax to see that a sanctuary was created for the remaining tribesman. He talks about how much he respected Paganax for changing his ways and taking on the evil forces of The Dominion, and how he even offered him advice on how to combat his foes after battling Godsend himself years ago. He talks about how Paganax had earned the respect of everyone and was hearing cheers from the crowd for the first time in his life, and asked how he could throw that all away by siding with Drury. He said that after everything, Paganax at least owed him an explanation and asked him to come to the ring. He waited several minutes but it was apparent that the big man was not going to come out, and Endgame appeared disappointed as the crowd booed and we fade to black… ©2125 GWF. All Rights Reserved. Card #8 - 1/29/25 Monday Night Mayhem Beta Centauri Blue Star Pavilion - Centaurus The opening video package shows what went down last week as Hector made his shocking return to the GWF after Drury believed he had eliminated him once and for all. Hector tells Drury that as a repercussion of his actions he would reveal another clue to Drury’s secret and would continue to do so each week unless Drury complied with his demands. We see a defeated Drury agree to allow the Ultimate Fighters to enter the match for the vacant tag team titles at Cosmic Clash. The video then shifts to the confrontation between Patch and play-by-play announcer, DragonMaster. Patch, sent by Drury to teach the Titan a lesson for his critical on air comments of the Commissioner, began to rough up the Hall of Famer before Payback made the save. The opening to Monday Night Mayhem is shown and pyro fills the Beta Centauri Blue Star Pavilion here in Centaurus, as does the sold out crowd! DragonMaster returns after missing the end of the broadcast last week to join Johnny Rocket on announce duties, with Mot and Kram on interviews… Laying Down the (Martial) Law! The Co-Commissioner of the GWF makes his way out to the ring following the opening to Monday Night Mayhem, to his usual chorus of boos. He looked angrier than he had been in some time and told the sold out crowd at the Beta Centauri Blue Star Pavilion to shut their mouths and respect the Law! He looked directly at the announce table as he began to speak, addressing Dragon Master. He said that he is being undermined on all fronts, and now even being blackmailed, but he sure as hell is not going to be disrespected by one of his employees. He told the play by play man to take off his headset, because he was fired! The fans booed wildly as DragonMaster is considered to be one of, if not the best announcers in the history of the GWF, not to mention a fan favorite Hall of Famer! Drury told him not to worry though; he knows he has a wife and kids at home, so while he is no longer a GWF announcer… he is now a GWF wrestler! DragonMaster looked at him in disbelief, shaking his head no as he has been retired from active competition for 18 years. Drury told him to find some gear, because tonight he was facing Patch! DragonMaster left the announce table as Drury warned him that if anyone interfered on his behalf, especially Payback, they would be terminated immediately. The fans booed wildly for several minutes, even chanting obscenities at the Co-Commissioner, before he finally attempted to speak again. As he started to say he was done being disrespected, he was interrupted by a familiar voice. Hector appeared on the giant holovision screen above the ring and addressed his foe, saying how he thought picking on retired announcers was low, even for Drury. Drury asked him what he wanted, saying he agreed to his demands last week, saying they were done. Hector disagreed and said that they were not done until he said they were done. This week he has a new request. Phantasy then joined him on the screen, wearing a sexy baby doll style tshirt with a teddy bear on the front! The fans cheered and Drury became livid in the ring. Hector said that Drury needed to start playing nice and thus would no longer be scheduling handicap matches for his enemies each week. Also, Drury would give Hector’s new friend Phantasy her one on one rematch for the Womens Title at the Cosmic Clash. Drury refused at which point Hector threatened to reveal another clue to the Co-Commissioner’s secret. Drury finally, reluctantly agreed to the demands and told the production crew to cut the feed, but not before Phantasy blew him a kiss goodbye! Drury seethed in the ring as we head to commercial. *** Commercial *** Infinity Challenge Titan Blood and Mantis won at 8:04 when Tristan pinned Zygon Infinity Challenge team captains and Cosmic Clash opponents Bloodline and U.S. Male joined Johnny Rocket on commentary for this one, hoping to add some insight on their team mates. Following the recent shows of mutual respect between the two, the conversation started off amicable but began to get a little heated as each man promoted their own team mates as the better tag team, more up and coming young star, etc. This was a heated match as both sides had been battling back and forth since the start of the Infinity Challenge. The match was back and forth with both sides controlling the action at various points. Tristan and Nitro, opponents at the upcoming Cosmic Clash actually managed to not cross paths throughout the match until the final moments. Tristan received a hot tag from The Betrayer and sidestepped a charging Nitro, tossing him from the ring before hitting an Arcana on the legal man, Zygon, for the win. A brawl broke out after the match as all six men entered the ring. Bloodline and U.S. Male sprang up from their spots on commentary to try and diffuse the situation. In the melee, U.S. Male accidentally took out Bloodline who shot a stare at him as if to say it wasn’t really an accident. *** Commercial *** Arm Wrestling Challenge Challenge is declared a no contest The war to prove is the better competitor in the Infinity Challenge between American Guy and Tanck continued, this week in a contest of The Galaxy’s Strongest Man choosing (playing to his strength obviously). Both men sat at a special table in the middle of the ring and locked hands as the official gave the signal to begin. After an initial stalemate, Tanck began to get the better of American Guy, who made comical, over the top faces as he struggled futilely to make a comeback. Just as Tanck was about to pick up the victory, Guy snapped forward and drilled his foe in the face with a brutal headbutt, forcing him to break his hold. He then returned the favor from last week by knocking his enemy to the mat and overturning the table on top of him before mockingly flexing above him ala Tanck’s style. The crowd ate it up and roared with laughter. *** Commercial *** Paralyze pinned Ensor at 5:43 In a match that saw Paralyze control much of the action, Ensor showed some resiliency kicking out of a pin attempt after a Permanently Paralyzed. The Big Aethran then decided to brutalize his opponent by hitting a Brute Force, a nasty powerbomb and then finally another Permanently Paralyzed before finally ending things. As Paralyze stood in the ring with his fist raised in the air in victory, he was suddenly attacked from behind by Sleeper Cell. Three men worked him over with various weapons before leaving him laying on the mat and escaping through the crowd as GWF Security rushed the ring. The camera cut to the back where Anivar was watching what just occurred with a smile of his face. *** Commercial *** Sign of the Devil A vignette plays hyping the return of She Devil, who has been out of action since being injured by Rotunda earlier this year. It promises that we will see She Devil as we have never seen her before, and when the Devil returns… she is bringing hell with her! Infinity Challenge Tag Team Championship Match The Leaders of the Pack won the match by count out at 4:23 Last week, Dark Futures cheated the system yet again to retain their Infinity Challenge Tag Team Titles when they blatantly got themselves disqualified. This week, they were forced to defend the titles once again, only this time they would lose the belts in they were disqualified. A frustrated Malkuth took it both of his opponents early, tossing them around the ring with ease. While Panther Warrior and Oracle were tied up on the outside, it looked as if Malkuth had Tricks set up for defeat with the Lord of the Pounce, Tricks caught himself on the ropes and rolled to the outside of the ring. He grabbed the tag team titles and started walking towards the locker room, waving his hand as if to say he was done with the match. The referee called for the bell and the Leaders of the Pack won by count out, but were yet again screwed out of the titles. *** Commercial *** Vidtek’s Video Lounge With special guest, Encubus Vidtek welcomed us and said he was honored to have as his special guest tonight, one of the true legends of the GWF, Encubus. Encubus made his way to the ring, dispensing with pleasantries and getting straight to the point. He played a video package highlighting the last few weeks… the manipulation of his entrance video, the magazines in his locker, then demanded to know who was behind this and ordered them to quit playing games and show their face so he could kick it in. Before he could finish though, his father’s old entrance theme began to play over the loudsystem and an enraged Encubus began screaming obscenities as he looked to the top of the entrance ramp, expecting someone to answer his demand. As he was distracted, a man with a hood over his head slid under the ring rope and approached him from behind, tapping him on the shoulder. Encubus spun around with a fist, but the man ducked and rose up again removing his hood and cloak. What was revealed was a spitting image of the Gamemaster himself, Thantos, right down to the ring attire and mannerisms. Encubus stood dumbfounded, as if he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. This left the mystery man enough of an opening to nail him with a brutal lariat, knocking him to the mat before he locked on the legendary Masterlock! Encubus writhed in pain as his attacker cinched the hold in laughing manically. He eventually released the hold and escaped into the crowd just as GWF Security rushed the ring. The stunned crowd, as well as Encubus, couldn’t believe what just happened. *** Commercial *** Match is ruled a no contest GWF Security came to ringside with Patch and surrounded the ring with their stun guns on the ready to ensure that no one, especially Payback, would interfere. DragonMaster made his way to the ring to his old theme music to a cheer from the crowd. While obviously outmatched and feeling trepidacious, the legend did not show his fears as he stood his ground defiantly. He proved to have some spring left in his step as he dodged a few punches from Patch after the bell, sidestepping the blows and even landing a karate chop to the back of his opponent’s head. The crowd was solidly behind him, as he managed a few more spots to his opponent’s surprise. It didn’t last long however, as a now angered Patch soon landed his first blow and continued to punish the play by play man. He methodically stalked the hall of famer, nailing him with blows to head and body as the crowd booed and began to liter the ring with debris at the display. Finally, having enough, Payback stormed the ring to aid his fellow Titan, only to be met with a taser shot from the security squad. Patch ordered them to bring him into the ring and had him handcuffed to the ropes, saying he wanted him to see what happened next. He then performed Patch Work on a helpless DragonMaster, locking in each submission hold until he screamed in agony, before finally dropping him with the neckbreaker. Payback jerked violently on the ropes, trying to break free but to no avail. Patch then dropped to his knees and got right in the hardcore Titan’s face and laughed at him, pointing at the fallen announcer and telling him to consider Drury’s message delivered. “Don’t #@$% with the Commissioner!” The crowd continued to boo and pelt Patch and the security squad with garbage as we head to commercial. *** Commercial *** The Heathen Chief Responds When we return from the commercial, Endgame is in the ring with Mot and Kram. The interviewers ask him what is going through his head, knowing that he has been concerned the last few weeks since the apparent aligning of his former friend Paganax with his sworn enemy Sly Drury. Endgame responds by saying he is very concerned and very confused. He tried to call out Paganax last week so he could talk to him and try to understand what he was thinking… try to help him see the light. When that didn’t work, he tried to track him down all week so they could talk. He feels like Paganax is avoiding him and he wants to ask him one last time, as his friend, to come out here and talk like men… like brothers. This time, the arena goes dark and the familiar tribal chanting and drums is heard, signifying the arrival of the Heathen Chief of Primus! Paganax joined Endgame in the ring and the crowd was on the edge of their seats for this long awaited confrontation. Endgame gave his same heartfelt speech from last week, highlighting the history between the two men and asked his friend what happened… what went wrong… tell him that he isn’t aligning himself with someone like Drury… whatever it is, they could talk about it…. he could help him somehow. Paganax appeared contemplative, looking off into the distance. You could hear a pin drop as everyone awaited his response. Finally, he looked Endgame in the eyes and told him he didn’t want to talk, he just wanted to destroy him. Endgame couldn’t believe what he heard as the big man challenged him to a match at the Cosmic Clash. Paganax made a slashing motion on his throat before turning to leave, as Endgame shook his head and reached out to grab his friend by the shoulder. Paganax spun around and knocked away Endgame’s hand, before grabbing him by the throat with both of his massive hands. He clenched down hard and started to choke the life out of him as a helpless Endgame started to fade, dropping to one knee, then to both, before passing out. Paganax released his hold and Endgame crumpled over onto the mat unconscious as Paganax stood above him, letting out a massive primal scream. The stunned capacity crowd just looked on in disbelief as they had never seen someone manhandle endgame that way before, choking him out like that. Paganax snorted and howled wildly as we fade to black… ©2125 GWF. All Rights Reserved. Quick Results- Titan Blood and Mantis defeated Energy Incarnate at 8:04 when Tristan pinned Zygon

Great work man...so much goodness going on here. I love how Hector still holds secrets above Sly's head, but for how long will this last? Paganax turning on Endgame was great...you set it up nicely to go either way...Payback and Patch with the whole Dragonmaster thing was a nice touch as well, nicely done. I, too, just held Paganax vs. Endgame which was a great one. Check out the new show

And now, the "go-home" holovision broadcast before the next big GWF supershow, the Cosmic Clash... Card #10 - 2/5/25 Monday Night Mayhem Apollo Heliodome – Asteroid Belt With just six days to go until Cosmic Clash 190: Tangled Alliances, the last holovision broadcast prior to the GWF supershow kicks off with the opening video package. We see highlights of some of the major events from last week, including Co-Commissioner Drury firing DragonMaster and the subsequent match where Patch brutalized the GWF Hall of Famer as his fellow Titan Payback looked on at the carnage helplessly as he was detained by GWF Security. The video then shows the end of the Video Lounge segment where Encubus was attacked and taken out by a mysterious newcomer with a striking resemblance to his father. Finally, the video shows the highly anticipated face to face between Endgame and Paganax, where the Heathen Chief left his former friend choked out in the middle of the ring. The video ends with a shot of Endgame laid out and a close up of Paganax screaming out loud… The opening to Monday Night Mayhem plays and we go live to the sold out Apollo Heliodome in the Asteroid Belt. The crowd goes crazy in anticipation of the GWF action ahead! Following the events of last week, Johnny Rocket is alone on announcing duties, with Mot and Kram on interviews. DragonMaster’s Replacement As Johnny Rocket was welcoming us to the broadcast and beginning to run down the card for the evening, he was interrupted by the man who we would soon find out was Co-Commissioner Drury’s anointed replacement for DragonMaster… the new GWF play by play man, Qualitar! The fans reacted as one might expect when the man who turned his back on the GWF in 2108 and verbally derided his former employer as he sided with the hated, rival federation of the time, the CPC, made his way to the ringside announce table. Rocket was none too pleased either, to say the least, as the two had a long, heated history. To put it mildly, the two hate each other! The new announce team jawed back and forth as Rocker accused Qualitar of running back to the GWF with his tail tucked between his legs after being replaced in the POW by Trent Lawless, only coming back to the GWF when he was no longer wanted elsewhere. Qualitar, responded by saying that Commissioner Drury personally invited him to fill the vacant position, knowing that not only was he the best play by play man in professional wrestling, but that he would be a loyal and grateful employee as well. He kissed up to his new boss for a while, before adding that Rocket better watch himself, or he’ll wind up just like his friend… bloodied and unemployed! One thing is for sure, there is definitely an interesting, new dynamic at the announce table! *** Commercial *** When we come back from commercial, we see Co-Commissioner Drury in his office finishing a holovision communication with Abroz and or Dialectas as we learn a big eight man match has been set for tonight between the Infinity Challenge competitors this Sunday: Bloodline, Dark Futures and Tristan against U.S. Male, Leaders of the Pack and Nitro! As he goes to wrap up his conversation, he is interrupted by an angry Encubus. His tag team partner demands that something be done about his attacker last week, and apparent stalker, the Thantos wannabe. As Drury tries to calm him down, suddenly his holovision screen begins to flicker and we see the image of Hector the Holy Brown Bear! Hector laughs, taunting Encubus and saying that any friend of the Co-Commissioner is no friend of his. He says they want to have a little fun with him as well, and by “we” he means his new partner… Thantos! The man who attacked Encubus on the Video Lounge then steps onscreen next to his masked companion, smirking at a now furious Encubus. Drury tries to intervene and says that this guy must be crazier than Hector if he actually thinks he is Thantos. The man says he doesn’t claim to be Thantos, but it certainly got a rise out of Encubus, which is exactly what he wanted. He said that Encubus is a sad, pathetic weakling that never accomplished half of what his father did and will always live in his shadow, never being as good as his old man… and he’ll be reminded of that every time he steps in the ring with him as he looks into the face of the man he’ll never be! Encubus now begins to scream at the screen and throw chairs around the office, demanding to get his hands on the impersonator. Hector tells him to settle down, and be patient, because he’ll get his chance this Sunday… as Hector is now making the triple threat match for the vacant tag team titles a fatal fourway, adding the “Cerebral Assassins” to the mix! Now Drury is livid, angered by Hector calling the shots… until he once again realizes he doesn’t have a choice. He reluctantly give in to his foe, but says that Thantos must fight in a match tonight as it will be another eight man preview of the upcoming supershow as Thantos, Anivar and The Ultimate Fighters will be taking on The Gladiators of Aethra! The two men on the screen just laugh and the feed cuts to static as Encubus and Drury, still fuming, slam the door to the office shut on the cameraman. Strafe and Mother Superior defeated Phantasy and Sultana at 4:46 when Strafe pinned Phantasy After several weeks of bad blood between these four women, they finally met up in a tag match that served as a preview for Sunday’s GWF Womens Title Match. Tensions were running high as the Alliance members, Mother Superior and the Womens Champion Strafe took on former champion Phantasy and he newfound ally, Sultana. With the odds even for a change, Phantasy was able to get the better of Mother superior early on. Eventually, Sultana and her blood-enemy Mother superior battled outside the ring as Strafe got the better of her challenger at Cosmic Clash, sending her a message and picking up the pin after a brutal Ground Zero. During the match, Coven Black appeared at the top of the entrance ramp as he has the past few weeks during womens matches and studied the competitors intently. Touching himself and licking his lips in a disturbing manner before disappearing once more. *** Commercial *** The Challenges Continue When we come back from commercial, we see Mot and Kram in the ring with Tanck and American Guy. They discuss the past few weeks worth of competition between them, with both men claiming to be the more dominant force. They agree to one last challenge before they face off Sunday. Whoever can beat the worst member of the other man’s Infinity Challenge team in the fastest amount of time wins. Beat the Clock Challenge – Part 1 Tanck beat Scimitar at 1:09 In the first half of the “Beat the Clock Challenge”, Tanck set the time to beat with authority as he makes very quick work of his old partner, Scimitar, as American Guy watched from the guest commentary spot. Scimitar, who has clearly not even wanted to be involved with the Infinity Challenge or the GWF for that matter, started complaining to the referee over the indignity of the entire thing, turned out right into a giant press slam from the Galaxy’s Strongest Man, followed by a powerbomb, and then finally a merciful pin after Tancked. He then took a seat at the announce table to watch his opponent’s match, but not before mocking him by flexing in front of him as they crossed paths. Beat the Clock Challenge – Part 2 American Guy loses the challenge when he failed to beat Plethador faster than 1:09 American Guy was up next in the “Beat the Clock” challenge, and had a tall order ahead of him with a time to beat of 1:09! When the bell rang and the clock started to tick, he charged at his opponent with a head of steam, but Plethador side-stepped him, and in an actual comical display, spent the next minute avoiding his wrath, literally squirming and sliming out of his grasp. As the buzzer rang indicating that time was up, Plethador wiped his brow with a sigh of relief, thinking he had escaped any physical harm. American Guy had none of it though, as Tanck mocked him from ringside with his arms raised in the air in victory. He finally managed to get a hold of Plethador and, in an impressive display, hurled him over the top rope to the floor, crashing into Tanck. The crowd ate the whole thing up as we head to commercial. *** Commercial *** Infinity Challenge Team Abroz (Bloodline, Dark Futures and Tristan) won at 12:54 when Bloodline rolled up U.S. Male from behind with a hand full of trunks In the first big eight man matchup tonight, the Infinity Challenge contestants who would be squaring off at the Cosmic Clash went head to head. The competitors each spent time battling their opponents for Sunday with Dark Futures and Leaders of the Pack battling back and forth, Tristan and Nitro putting on a high-octane sequence of spots, and finally US Male and Bloodline squaring off. After a lot of good back and forth action, Bloodline had a blind tag off of Tricks and ended up surprising his rival Infinity Challenge captain with a quick roll up from behind, grabbing his tights for leverage in a surprising move. US Male shot a look of disbelief at Bloodline after the match, who initially had a devious smile on his face following the pin, but now appeared conflicted by his victory. Tricks smacked him on the back as the made their way up the ramp to the dressing room, saying “it’s about time old man”. *** Commercial *** Vidtek’s Video Lounge With special guest, Endgame Endgame was visibly distraught after the events that occurred at the end of last week’s holovision broadcast. He talked again about the history between him and Paganax. How he had helped him to reform and aided him in both his legal and in-ring battles in Centra. He talks about how he had even approached the big man about wrestling the GWF as a member of the FDF to help further his cause in Centra, and when Paganax turned down his offer he told him a spot was always open for him. When he saw him in the ring a few weeks ago on Monday Night Mayhem, he assumed he had taken him up on the offer. But he was wrong. He doesn’t understand what happened, what went wrong… and when he tried to talk to him and to help him, he was instead attacked! Before he finished, he was interrupted by the Heathen Chief’s entrance music as the arena lights went red and Paganax made his way out on to the top of the ramp. He finally answered the question Endgame and everyone else has been asking… why? He said that Endgame didn’t really care about him and that he only helped him as a PR stunt to help himself look good. Endgame talked him out of taking back his home by force, he wanted him to go through the courts instead… a futile effort that would take years and yield no results. And when Endgame asked him to the FDF, it was because Endgame wanted him as a teammate and not as an opponent because he was afraid of him. Like always, he was holding him back because he was jealous of him and the power he had. But now Endgame can’t hide any more. He found a new friend who actually does care about him and will use his power to help him take back what is his. But first, he has to do so, something for him… destroy Endgame! He told Endgame that time for talking was over and to answer his question; will he accept his challenge at Cosmic Clash? Endgame, who had been looking on in disbelief at the accusations being made, appeared to come to the realitization that his friend is no longer there, but rather a monster who has sided with the devil himself! Though it pained him to do so, he accepted the challenge and the two stared face to face as we go to commercial. *** Commercial *** The Main Event! The faces won at 13:33 when Clinch pinned The Aethran Overmaster after outside interference The second big eight man match of the evening, and the main event bout, saw the Gladiators taking on Martial Law in another preview of matches taking place this Sunday. The action was fierce with none of the men holding back their punches, trying to get the upper hand before the supershow, and possibly even injure their foes ahead of time. The action broke down at the end of the match with all eight men entering the ring and brawling. In a frenzied sequence, Thantos took out Rush with a Legends Lariat, knocking him out of the ring before he was attacked from behind by Encubus. The two brawled up the ramp and into the back as Turmoil simultaneously took himself and Shoot over the top rope with a suicide clothesline. Paralyze knocked out Anivar with the Heart Transplant only to be met with Knocked Out from Clinch, who then was clocked by the Overmaster with a Revolutionary Spear. As the Universal Heavyweight Champion stood tall in the middle of the ring, and the referee attempted to sort out the chaos as his back was turned, Havoc (who was out of action since Deimos Perennial, injured at the hands of the Gladiators) hit the ring and leveled his opponent at the supershow with a chairshot followed by Fallen Dreams. Clinch then crawled over and covered the champion for win as the referee finally turned back around. Havoc backed up the ramp with his fellow faces, smiling and taunting their foes in the ring. The Overmaster stared him down, furious as his challenger made a motion around his waist for the title before pointing at the champion. And with that, we fade to black… ©2125 GWF.
