What follows are the events that took place in my fed in the year 2090..................
But before we begin, it's time for a bit of history:
My GWF Fed has been running since 2087, but I have not had a formalised way of record-keeping up until now (other than win-loss stats). I guess this may reflect the GWF improving and expanding as a company. In my reimagining the GWF has just acquired regular TV time for it's shows. Up until this point the Fed had been predominantly house shows, with the odd pay-per-view........akin to the WWF in the early days.
Championship Lineages
Galaxian Championship
- Thantos (won at Only The Best Tournament) in Jan 2087 defeated Wolf in the final. His record setting (and probably unbeatable!!!!) reign lasted until October 2089. Thantos was simply unstoppable for almost three solid years, successfully defending against contenders such as Star Warrior, Wolf (multiple times - Wolf was a thorn in Thantos' side for 18 months but never got the big win), Lord Nexus, Bishop Hell (with a bit of Royal Court infighting!) and the Invinsible Krakan. He was finally defeated by the Galactic Punisher in October 2089.
Galactic Punisher October 2089 - present. Still a relatively new champion, he has successfully defended the title on one occassion. He fought and defeated another impressive newcomer, the Bounty Hunter, at Galactic Wars 2089.
Galaxian Tag Team Championship
The Gladiators won the titles in Jan 2087 in a 6 team Tag Team War. They were defeated in July 2087 by the Greek Gods at Cosmic Clash.
The Greek Gods July 2087 till Dec 2087 -defeated by Exo-King and Death Knight (Evil Ones)
Exo-king and Death Knight Dec 2087-Feb 2088 defeated by the Greek Gods at Deimos Perennial.
The Greek Gods (2nd Reign) Feb 2088 - Oct 2088 title vacated when the Greek Gods are injured by the Norse Gods following a match.
The Henchmen (Terror and Executioner) Dec 2088 win an 8 team tag tournament to become champions. The Henchmen have a short reign as they are defeated soundly by the returning Greek Gods in Jan 2089. The Henchmen disband following this match.
The Greek Gods (3rd Reign) Jan 2089- Feb 2089 defeated by Powerhouse (Massif and Earthquake) at Deimos Perrenial 3.
Powerhouse Feb 2089 - April 2089 defeated by the Greek Gods.
The Greek Gods (4th Reign) April 2089 - September 2089. Defeated by the Alien Corps (Terror and Tongsoon) at the Star Jam pay-per-view.
The Alien Corps Septemer 2089 - Present. The Alien Corps have proven to be solid champions defending their titles on three occassions thus far.
GWF INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP
Pit Viper Jan 2087 won a battle royal - Pit-Viper valiantly holds the title for an impressive 11 months, fending off contenders such as Mutant, Exo-King and Comrade Terror. He finally drops the strap to the Invinsible Krakan at Galactic Wars 1 in Dec 2087.
The Invinsible Krakan Dec 2087 - Feb 2088. Defeated by Star Warrior at Only the Best Tournament 2.
Star Warrior Feb 2088 - Jan 2089. A wonderful run with the title for Warrior, seeing off the sizeable challenge of contenders such as Spike, Splatter, Massacre and Exo-King, before having to vacate the title after sufferring a neck injury at the hands of Spike in a backstage assault. Vacated in Jan 2089.
Invinsible Krakan (2nd Reign) Feb 2089 - present (won a 4 corners match against three top IP contenders, Mesmer, Pit Viper and Spike.) Krakan has proven that he is a worthy champion after defendign against Battering Ram, Mesmer, Adam Blast and Commander Sam.
Now that we are all caught up.....what is in store for 2090?
TV shows
GWF WARZONE. (2Hrs) (monthly) The flagship show. The Galaxian Championship is defended in the main event. Very much a story-line based show. All of the biggest angles occur on this show.
GWF BLAST. (2Hrs) (monthly) The B show. This show puts tag wrestling as the primary focus. The Galaxian Tag Team Titles are defended in the main event. This is currently the B show but is likely to become just as popular as WARZONE.
GWF SUPERNOVA. (1hr) The C show of the company. This show gives superstars who have not featured on WARZONE and BLAST the opportunity to get into (back into) the spotlight. The Interplanetary Title is defended in the main event. There are NO angles or interviews on this show.
PAY PER VIEW EVENTS (all titles are defended at each PPV)
Deimos Perennial. The first event of the year and often very exciting due to the fact that new wrestlers and feuds make their debut.
Titan Turmoil Held on Titan. Every match is contested under Titan Rules. As a result this is considered the most Hardcore pay per view and most dangerous.
Solar Survivor The factions battle against their rivals in survivor matches. Their are 3-5 wrestlers to a team. Faction dominance is established at Solar Survivor.
Cosmic Clash A regular pay-per-view (usually the lowest buyrates of the year) The main event features the Galaxian Championship being defended in a cosmic cage.
Galactic Wars The big one! All titles are contested. All grudges are settled!!!
Hope you enjoy my 2090 fed......first broadcast coming soon!!
